I went on my first run yesterday I couldn’t even run one mile without stopping I was so embarrassed!! I’m not even particularly big but I’m still so unhealthy, but I have a heart condition so I really struggle and it’s so annoying😭

same , I have to run a mile a for a class , and it's not going good so far 💀
ok I live across from a cemetery, so I picked about 3 rows and I ran around them 4 times.
I don't even know if it was a mile but my legs hurt so I doing something

I enjoy running for pace and I really try to push myself. I’m using running down the street saying “holy fu*k. Holy sh*t. Holy fu*k. Oh fu*k” because I’m pushing myself sooo hard and the swear words just pour of me. I can’t help it. I don’t even swear, only when I’m running 😅
Also when I’m running I like to day dream. I try not to focus on my run too much and I like to drift off into la la land

I used to run. Now I’m going on my first walk in a while. Funny enough I stopped about a year into the pandemic and I moved across the country and I fell back into depression. Now I’m back home and I miss running around the city.

this is so helpful bc i am doing cross country as my required sport this year and i need to get a 20 minute 2 miles
oh you TOTALLY got it!! work on a “slow” mile or two, then once you can accomplish that distance then you can DEF get that 20min 2mi!! you got it!

The reason why your legs and shins hurt when running is because you are heel striking. There are videos on how to change that

I use to only run to music and i couldn't see why people would choose otherwise, but im still in school and i joined cross country and like no one brings there phone or headphone to listen to music so i felt awkward being the only one with so i tried without music and I hit an ultimate PR for myself and each like the teacher who are in charge of it and run with us were surprised and socked with me (ps. i sucked at running i joined that team in grade 4 and 8 eight was when this happened ) each time i ran without music i found it easier and i never thought that would be possible, the first part of it is hard cause you have to get used to it but then its fine, Now i Run with music as if its a cheat day

Hey I'm just recently finding this video from tiktok and I have a few questions. How long did it take you to get to 2 miles without stopping? Did you notice any physical changes from running? Did you experience shin splints or side pains?
It took me like 3 weeks, and yes I lost some fat and my legs got stronger. And no shin splints because I invested in good running shoes. Occasionally I get side pain but I use breathing control and massage it out while I run
