@user-wt6eq3jt1v Not at all, that's fine 😊 I have a chronic illness called ME, and am mostly bedbound. When I do get to leave the house, I often have to use a wheelchair. I used to exercise lots before getting ill, and really miss it!
@@katiecupcake7317 you will get there again...I have recovered from ME after 5 and a half years and at one stage could not walk more than 5 minutes. You just need to find what will help you. I don't want to bombard you here but check out recovery interviews...you will find a way back ❤
Running was completely life changing for me. I started when I was about 15 as a way to manage anxiety and stay active. I completely fell in love with being in that meditative state-32 years old now and although I’ve certainly had periods of my life where I couldn’t run as much as I would have liked to, it’s really just about keeping it as a long-term practice (if you’re able to of course). Thanks Becca for reminding me what a privilege running is.

I feel like running is just so good for my mental health than anything! I always feel so proud of myself when I've completed a run and just feel like my lungs feel better, I love all of it!
Oh man this is encouraging me to get off my butt and take a jog! I hate running, but I always feel sooooo much better afterwards when I do.

I have bipolar and I’ve been having a really miserable couple of days but I saw this video and watched it while I did a 15 minute seated workout and it gave me a little boost. 100% agree that running and fitness in general is glamourised but also it can be motivational if you don’t hold yourself to that standard. I only worked out sitting down but it got me moving and that’s the most important thing. Thank you so much. ❤

Ahh I love this and it really just motivated me for my own training! I signed up for my first half marathon in January (as a non-runner lol) and my progress is slow. But trying to tell myself I can build it up and succeed ❤

I'm so happy that you found a benefit from your running challenge!! Please do so safely and encourage your subscribers to do so as well. Running 4k every day for 6 days out of the week is not recommended for a beginner runner because, like you said, it is hard on your joints and you are not conditioned for it as a beginner. You want to gradually increase weekly mileage, there are tons of resources online to help find a schedule to build up safely! ❤

Running outside vs the treadmill is different feelings. I’m always in pain from running outside, the concrete & my hips & knees just don’t work well together lol.
I walk, I have RH and fibromyalgia so bad knee and hip limit me to walking.. but ! I love that I can just throw on my shoes and go outside and be done in 45mins .. it’s so much quicker then gym time

I had to give up running due to chronic illness but found a new joy in walking...its great movement and you can be outside in nature just the same as running ❤
