A yoga class to increase flexibility! This 30-Minute Flexibility Flow is designed to lengthen and stretch your muscles and help you grow and strengthen your Splits practice. Jacquelyn Umof will guide you through a sequence of poses and stretches to help increase your flexibility and overall energy levels.
This class is for all-levels. Modify and take breaks where needed..

Being a yoga teacher I am beyond grateful of this class: being aware of every single inch of my legs while in pyramid has taken this asana to a new level. I am definitely incorporating it to my daily practice but also to my classes!

super gentle yet engaging. I found myself moving with the flow unpreoccupied with the time and surprised when it came to a close. useful reminder that I can find flexibility and stability simultaneously. thank you!

If you're a massive stuffy-head allergy sufferer this time of year, this class probably isn't going to feel great vis-a-vis breathing (I kept having to lift halfway up so my head didn't feel like it was so full in the long periods of inversion), but it's a lovely stretch of the hamstrings! I would also definitely encourage blocks to everyone in my class if I taught something like this (I teach athlete-focused yoga and the vast majority of them would need blocks to even have a chance of engaging their hamstrings like this without pain or injury). I love the alo classes, but I really wish alo was a little more inclusive of props overall. They will often say you don't need them, and then will mention using them like halfway through - why not just encourage people to have them from the beginning and mention how to modify all the poses that could use them? Create a bridge to this more intermediate level of flow for people!

Rooting is real tough!!! Like the bit where you asked us to root down like trees
I had some tough moments with some of the poses, such as them feeling too long on one leg. I did run on an elliptical machine before this class for about the same amount of time as this class. I wonder if that may attribute.
I found that really difficult on my tight legs first thing in the morning! X
out of all the Alo yoga videos, this one is by far the worst and a waste of time. 7:55 minute mark is the real start time (she just talks the first 8 mins) the flow is extremely slow and not productive at all... All the other videos are great but for sure avoid this one..
I love jacquelyn but to be honest i was hoping a practice where i can really stretch! maybe it was too slow ...
My back was rehabilitated from that stretch

I feel like i ve stayed with my head upside down for too long... too much forward folds for me! ;)
