Such a great "old style" foundation video! Love it! Foundations are the most difficult and complex makeup products. If the base does not sit and stay well you cannot achieve a good look.

The Surratt Dew Drop is my all -time favorite. On me, the Lisa Eldridge is similar but with a bit more coverage and a bit less glow. Can't wait to get it in full size.

i have much love for Trinny London too, especially the BFF cream! I’ve oily skin and feel so comforted when I put this on. Skin feels healthy and not inbalanced in any way. TL eye creams are always such an effortless stunner too… I always feel surprised how good they are when I out them on (compared to when I use similar eye creams from Hourglass or Chantecaille)

Your skin always look beautiful Michele! No wonder that you prefer lighter coverage foundation. Have you tried Suqqu cream foundation? In my opinion, it's one of the best foundations for dry skin at very reasonable price point, and it lasts all day. It has medium to high coverage though.

I’m amazed..I have all luxury foundations..but I have just been absolutely blown away by the L’Oréal true match plumping serum..it knocks a lot, actually most of the very expensive products out of the park..I truly am shocked..

I've saved to my file "Skin, Foundations" for future reference. I think I have 70% of the ones mentioned but I would like to have some fuller coverage foundations.
Like you, I've always thought of them as being thick and mask like as well as being unsuitable for my dry skin. Who knew that there are some that are definitely not either 🤷♀️?

I have been enjoying the Surratt Dew Drop foundation. I have the shade 4. I believe I am almost out of it. When I press the button, it takes a while for a drop or two to come out of the bottle. Patience is a virtue.
Thanks for the review! May I suggest some quick swatches so we can see the consistency / shade based on your skin and perhaps timestamps when mentioning so many products, so its easy for us to go back and re-watch the parts we would like to pay more attention to :)
The Nars tinted moisturizer is great and is buildable.

Dior Airflash Spray Foundation - I adore it! I bought their brush to apply it but Black Canvas F1 does the job as well as their one and costs a fraction of Dior price. I spray on the brush and then apply. Everytime I wear it I get questions about my complexion, what I do to have it that good in my age 😃

So just ordered 2 of your favs. Had to order KGD (aqua formula) in 143 since I’m a little darker than 123, then ordered shade 9 in TS which I think is the closest to my skin. Like you my forehead is a bit darker. Hoping I can mix the 2 to get perfect shade. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Love the idea behind this video, Michele! I appreciate a more light coverage, dewy or satin/natural foundation too. I could listen to you speak about makeup forever!! Who thought I’d be so into foundation one day, lol! For me, I’d def pick Em cosmetics for cushion foundation, Dior Airflash for spray, and agree on Nars & La Mer tinted moisturizers! Ironically, do you use a brush, a sponge or fingers for tinted moisturizer?? I ask bc today I wore the La Mer one & it separated on my skin a bit & could see pores.
