    David, im always fascinated by your work. Im in the renovation business and often work on older homes, where i have to custom make piece to match what is originally there and no longer available. Out of all the different things i do, i find this part the most enjoyable. Your level of craftsmanship is really just top level. The fact that you show it all in such detail is a real testament to how much you love the craft and really makes others loke myself look to you as a mentor in this area.
    Thank you so much for providing us with these videos. They truly are inspirational and i personally love to see the whole processes you go thru.
    I only wish i was closer to see these all in person. So good.

    While these are beautiful, I can't afford them whenever you make more. I'd love to support your business through other ways like purchasing such a guide if you have one! But of course if you don't have on or want to make one that is understandable. I'd just like to know because it seems like a fun project to try out once I get more into woodworking.

    What do you think of making a philosopher's desk, that's in at least the theme of either one of the two characters of the upcoming video-game Billie Bust Up:
    Aristotle the Axolotl Magician or Barnaby the Party Ghost Owl? In the case of any Billie Bust Up character, why not velvet instead of resin?

    • @davidolundell
      @davidolundell  5 місяців тому +1

      I could do something inspired by, but I can't do anything that infringes on their copyrights or trademarks. velvet instead of resin would be pretty easy, though. Hey, just ran across an idea for your secret compartments. 😃 Though I'm not sure if you've done something similar 🤔, so if you have just ignore the suggestion.
    I think having to open a different compartment by using part of another obvious (or secret) compartment/drawer gives something extra security/secrecy 😁 like in this wooden puzzle:
