This is a very serious violation. Mexico has every right to take action against Ecuador and cut diplomatic ties.
Well mexico should consider not to give asylum to criminals
Mexico violated international law when they decided to intervene with Ecuador’s internal affairs
Didn't Ecuador do the same to a politician from the UK?@@capitandiriangen8981
@@capitandiriangen8981well you shouldn’t break an international law
@@capitandiriangen8981for that you have to have a diplomatic talk with Mexico to hand him over. Not break into Mexican territory and break INTERNATIONAL “LAW”. Educate yourself.
You cannot have an embassy in a country that does not respect international law.
What were the Mexicans doing??
@@longsleevethong1457you just saying anything ain’t you 🤣
@@longsleevethong1457 Mexican stuff, you wouldn't understand
@longsleevethong1457 same thing Ecuador did with Assaange
Nah…lol….just a bunch of thieves
It's time to not have embassy in Ecuador, if they don't respect international law, it's a danger country to be.
you are wrong, im from Ecuador and the guy that was hosted in the Mexican Embassy has to be in jail. He had to pay some penalties for corruption, and he was also released a few months ago, after a narco paid 250,000 USD for his bail. Mexico is becoming a refuge for corrupt Latin American politicians, and I applaud Ecuador for not allowing this to happen with Jorge Glass
@@ecuadorvideos. Its about embasies, this move from the Ecuador government, make all ecuadorians vulnerable in another country... since Ecuador doesn't respect international law... forget about México.... that's different story.
@@ecuadorvideosyes I’m Mexican but I agree with you, Mexico should of stayed out of it, respected ecuadors wishes and turned him over, Mexico is now a narco state
I agree, I would not invest in a country that doesn't respect embasies.... nobody would.
@@ecuadorvideos Yeah, right! The Ecuadorian government was lucky it was Mexico and not the United States. Otherwise, there would be paratroopers raining down in Ecuadorian skies right now. An embassy is a country's sacred ground, and an attack on any embassy is a declaration of war. Tell me, is one person worth the risk of possibly injuring or causing fatalities to millions of civilians? Are we acting like animals instead of a civilized world? Are we resorting back to the laws of the jungle? Should we just see an embassy as a joke? If this happens, who would want to do business with a country's government that acts like gang bangers and doesn't even have the class to follow international laws regarding embassies? No matter how people try to spin Ecuador's actions as being justified, they are blindly supporting lawlessness and dangerous political consequences, or even war.
Ecuador gave Assange to the poms from their embassy ...$$$$$ ...utter shamelessness

You just don’t storm into an embassy like that. Low. Very low. Unlawful. Stop all dealings with Ecuador and its unlawful and corrupt government. Cannot do that to an embassy

Nah, we're cool 😎
Why ? Try to hide a criminal in ur embassy n then cry
Mexico: “our embassy got raided”
United States: “First time?”
Ecuador don’t want that smoke
Ecuador must face sanctions!
Reason why it’s a big deal is that any foreign embassy in another country is actually considered land nation belonging to the embassy. What Ecuador did was an invasion on Mexico territory.
What Ecuador could’ve done was cut utilities like power or water to force the guy out and arrested him when he left the embassy. They could also banished Mexico for harboring the fugitive and go in but that would cut diplomatic ties. Not that it would matter since that could happen any way. The fugitive was the former VP who stole a lot of the country’s money and was likely either paying off MX or funneling out of the country so Ecuador can attempt to get it back.
That's literally an act of war
Sanction Ecuadorian bananas!
Interesting times we live in

if they went to such lengs just to capture that politician , i assume is because he knew too much ...
Big fail for Ecuador.
'' el Ecuador es un pais respetuoso del derecho international ", si lo demuestran.
Regardless of the situation. Embassies are the sovereign territory of a nation within a foreign country under international law. To violate that is to encroach not only on that nation's territory but their rights as well. Ecaudor should have gone through the proper channels and handled this legally. Even if he fled they could have issued a warrant for his arrest with interpol. Since he was already declared a fugitive.
Ecuador still has no right to Raid The Embassy whatever reasons they put it. Mexico has a right to suspend ties to Ecuador.
Mexico has a right to defend itself

Madness? that's an exaggeration, illegal yes, a consulate is the countries federal jurisdiction it represents, unless expelled from the country, where there located, but have certain protections, if a person is claiming asylum, its legal (BUT) after an investigation, the person claiming asylum, if the accusing government has show of proof, which is a process and takes some time, then the person can be expelled from the consulate and arrested, its was a premature, disrespectful and a violation of the countries sovereignty, that's the issue, it not like some bank robber, its a high ranking situation, usually reserved for political situations
You don´t know anything about international law, right? Embassys enjoy extraterritoriality. By any means, to raid an embassy is equivalent to an act of invasion.
You seem to not understand that is not merely federal jurisdiction. A consulate or embassy is an extension of the country it represents and any violation thereof is legally considered an invasion of that country's sovereignty. It is madness. Not even Britain and the U.S did that when presented with similar situations. Now with Asylum, if any country feels that there was an error in granting asylum to an individual, there are mechanisms put forward in the Vienna Convention to declare such action wrongdoing which in that case the asylum issuing country would be told to remove the asylum.
@@cesargabriel5716you get it which I’m surprised Mexico is not looking to retaliate. This should not be taken lightly.
It is madness. You clearly don’t know history or international law. There are only a handful of times something similar to this has happened in history. Going back like 2,500 years. And Im pretty sure it’s the first time or one of the few times it’s been done like this, as in between two non warring countries.
MADNESS IT IS, in spite of your mad reasoning 😒😒😒😒😒😒

Who Is Jorge Glas, an Ecuadorian Politician Arrested at Mexico's Embassy? A former vice president of Ecuador, Jorge Glas had been convicted of bribery in two separate cases. He had fled to the Mexican Embassy in Quito after facing more embezzlement charges. lol
so what's the drama about?
it’s not drama it’s diplomacy, something you’re clearly ignorant about and we won’t waste time trying to enlighten you
Mexican embassy is, just like any other embassies, under Mexican law, not under Ecuador. Ecuador attacking a Mexican embassy could be legally seen as an act of war, and Mexico does not need to declare war because Ecuador attacked first.
But usa says embassies are not sovereign territory..
Yeah, but if it was Trump being arrested in a usa embassy they would praise that country
