I was looking at a truck one time and decided to buy it so i got the owner to come with me to the DMV but i went to the one in the next town over so i could take it for a good test run with the seller in the truck half way there the carpet started smoking by my foot jumped out to look and sure enough the heat shield was gone and there was a tiny hole there big enough the let the heat from the exhaust reach the carpet .. everything ended ok but it could have been a lot worse from something so simple.

You are doing a great job with helping customers 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🤝.
I was having some trouble with my truck starting or just clicking like a dead battery. I went to the shop where I volunteer and I mentioned it to my boss and we go outside and take a look around the engine and he is checking out the battery clamps on the posts and they're both a little bit loose. And he gets some tools from his shop and comes back out and tightens the clamps up and everything is right as rain. I was humbled by this and we both had a good laugh at that. It was a very simple thing, like you mentioned.
You're doing an awesome job helping people out with there vehicle problems. Great KUDOS for your help. Take care . 👍🏼🤝👊🤙🌄

I pop up my truck hood often to Iet my engine cool down and I check the engine fluids after the engine has cooled down. We have been having over the years trespassers coming over our locked gate and posted property. There's been gas siphon attempts and other incidents. One of the incidents is my battery clamps loosened up. And just recently my gas cap was moved from where I set it and my drivers side front tire was very low on air . I'm glad that I always have a hand pump in my truck.
The things some people do, I don't know why.
