As a child of eight, I had the privilege of meeting both Deanna and her father Dean. My dad and I were moving her into her home in Palm Springs and Dino had stopped by. Both very gracious very kind people especially to an eight-year-old girl. Thank you for that, it made a wonderful impression

He treasured solitude and the golf course but his prowess was really the recording studio and the movie set, this is where he truly shined and later went home to his family. He captured the American dream.

I actually live in Steubenville. They stopped having the “Dean Martin Festival” because no one knew who he was anymore. It’s sad, because that was a big event growing up. And Deanna emceed several times! I believe they are trying to get it going again but I don’t know, Steubenville is pretty dead. But thanks for mentioning us!!!! People usually leave us out when they talk about Dino- yet we have several murals of him around town.
I loved Dean. He did a lot of outstanding movies. The Rat Pack was great but I liked Rio Bravo the best! Jerry Lewis helped make Dean what he became. The pare were awesome together. It was hard to hear when they broke up.
