  • Resistance training with bands can be very effective, however it does have some downsides...one of which is how the band can deform your hand when you grip it.
In addition, some band training kits come with flexible handles that are just only slightly better than gripping directly onto the bands themselves. Flexible handles fold just like the bands do.
The Vector Grip band handles aim to fix this problem completely and provide you with a solid grip, allowing you to get all the benefits of band training without the downside of the bands squishing your hands.

Just FYI, I made a mistake in the video - the grips are aluminum, not steel.

What about using Fat Grips ? !!!!

That's definitely an option for thin bands! I think a thicker band would be tough to stuff into a Fat Gripz handle... that being said, I'm going to try it...

@@MadScientistOfMuscle I just gave it a try with some thick, black Rogue bands and must say it worked well. The band conformed to the inside of the Fat Grip quickly.

I was thinking about that as well, curious to see what you think Nick.
One of the testimonials said they were using fat grips, but didn't like how they bent and distorted with higher loads and how not all bands sat correctly in the groove.
Another user mentioned that they really liked them for the ergonomics they provided with cheat flys, which I can definitely picture the product helping here if this an exercise someone does often and under heavy load.
I know personally, this has perplexed and annoyed me for quite some time that for me, that benefit alone would be worth the purchase. I've been through 6 different types of handles, in as many years, and have yet to find a handle that I even half way liked to accommodate that exercise.

@@ggram0551 I think these would be worth a try for you. They feel really solid and have plenty of room inside the handle to fit a thicker band. I tested these with the very thick black bands and there was zero distortion.
