It doesn't. I've seen those settings primarily on the scales without the handles because they have to, like you said, account for higher muscle mass in the upper body. With this handle style, you get more points of contact, so it runs the current through the upper to get actual results without having to extrapolate.
Yep, I'm still using it at least 3X a week. Never had any issues connecting, though with another scale I tested, I found that I had to open the app, then turn off and turn back on bluetooth. Then it connected no problem. Not an issue I found on this scale, but it worked on that other one.
If you are still using it, could you check for me whether a data export option exists in the app or not? An export into pdf would be the best.
