Interestingly, the lyrics of that song are coming to life for Ariana Grande. I remember that I was not too fond of the song because I didn't like the message for women; for sure, it was NOT a woman empowerment song.
Had a similar feeling but didn't quite articulate it as well as you just did. There are theories that most of/all of her previous boyfriends were either recently broken up with a girlfriend or were still seeing someone before they got together.
She literally has a song called "break up with ur boyfriend, im bored," keep in mind tho, she is a very wealthy woman. There are probably few men on Earth, let alone in America, that could truly make Ariana feel like a secure and safe wife. She might as well sleep around with whoever she wants, because unless she goes to prison, she's set for life if she has any investment/saving skills at all. I can't imagine many men would feel comfortable/ safe with her social status or wealth either.
Has anyone has the experience that children have brought them closer? I imagine it makes the relationship harder to leave via responsibility, but I can’t imagine it increases the feelings of love and intimacy between the couple
I disagree that an affair is not a reflection of a person's parenting ability. Having an affair during the first year of your child's life IS bad parenting. It's a time when the child and its mother are particularly vulnerable and they need support and protection, not betrayal. If his focus was on another woman during time, then it wasn't on his child or its mother, as it should've been. He's obviously inherently selfish and self-absorbed, both marks of a bad parent.
This is just an observation, yet I think Ariana's track record speaks for itself. Shes a talented artist, yet her ability to blow up her reputation and relationships is epic. One day she will Grow Up and think before she re/acts! Sad.
