As a pram and stroller collector, I think you did a fabulous job restoring this stroller and keeping it from becoming landfill material. Thank you for sharing the cleaning process. One good spray to use on moving parts is silicone spray. It doesn't attract dirt as some lubes will. Also, to keep mold from becoming a problem again, it's good to thoroughly clean any food or drink spills from the upholstery as soon as possible. Mold feeds on organic material, so by cleaning up spills you're cutting off the food source that would help mold to grow back.
I can’t wait to do this! I bought a double stroller for my grandkids for $30 but it has that musty smell! I already tried vinegar and baking soda and not much improvement on the odor! Got a sunny windy 70 degree day tomorrow 😀
You better watch where you leave that stroller to dry.Now that it's in good shape someone could walk off with it.Better to leave it to dry in a more hidden place in your back yard.
I really thought the bleach was going to ruin the color but by the looks of it, it actually brighten it up. I still wouldn’t try this in my expensive strollers tho. But I will use this products on my kids hard plastic toys to remove germs and dirt ❤️
I read that bleach won't ruin strollers something with the fabric it with stands the bleach for this reason I was shocked cause I was thinking the same
Clove oil is the only thing that kills mould spores so scrub with that first. Bleach doesn't kill the mould spurs unfortunately. But thanks for the motivation! I'll get to it now haha
Question, what if we don’t have any sunlight? I’m in North Idaho, and we have smow for six months practically. I have mold all over the inside of my cloth seats in my car and it’s all over the inside of my cloth stroller. I don’t know what to do anymore. I tried vinegar and a scrub brush and it got rid of it but it still smells like mold, and it seems to still come up. I think it’s a problem because we don’t really have too much sunlight out here and it stays cold and wet.
Just unscrewed the material parts of the stroller tossed into washer twice laundry soap & bleach. The frame & wheels with hot soapy water ( as hot as I could stand ) . Then rewashed with bleach rinsed good dried off then wiped down with straight Mr Clean. It wasn’t in this condition at all. Find it easier in the washer.
Did this to my double stroller and you saved me $$$ . I was really about to throw it out and buy another. Thank you!!!!
Thank you some lady gave me a stroller today with some mold on it it was in her garage and I don't have $300 right now im going try this tmrw ❤❤
Yesssss hunny 💕😍brought that right back to life hunny and saved some money 💰🤑now I can dig it

You did a great job getting it nice and clean. Well what do they say one man's trash is another man's treasure.
Did you dilute the bleach? That cutie pie baby in the stroller at the end is the perfect way to show your success!

I like this lady's style!!! How in the world did the bleach not ruin the black straps tho?
All that effort for your baby. I love it. ❤
I would love to see a before and after photo at the end of your video. You are very inspiring
Great video very helpful. Love the ending lol ❤
So just put on bleach and leave for an hr and then wash off with dish soap
Please don’t leave bleach on the stroller, it could actually stain
Great video!
Great job! Thanks!!

You saved that stroller from the landfill

It's likely diluted bleach. I've used a diluted mixture on second hand cloth nappies just leaving them for 30 minutes and there's no colour change.

I am going to do the same! Thank you!
Left my expensive double stroller outside for two days and now it has mildew spots everywhere I really hope this works 😭
Same, bought a pivot stroller for my new born before he got here and left it outside now it’s moldy he can’t even get in it now hope it works for me
How did it turn out?
Did you scrub with a brush after you put on the bleach and Dawn?

I’d try putting a dehumidifier in the car overnight or maybe those wardrobe humidifiers to help wick moisture.
Awesome salvage!!!
I’m not putting my kid in a moldy stroller.
Good job though
Bleach doesn't kill mold.
Hello did u mix the bleach with water ? I found this walker and u know someone can use it but has mold in a few spots .

Won't the beach mess with the color of the stroller?
Does the bleach not change the color?
Great job! I left mine outside and I’m def gonna try this thanks
How fantastic is this!
Thanks for the video-just got a stroller that looks beat up but savable and now I see how good it can look. Great job
Thank you for this video! I’ve watched a few now and you’ve given me confidence in buying second hand and just applying some elbow grease.
How long did it take to drive
Thank you for posting!
It come up looking brand new 😍😍
Does anyone know how many days it will take to dry?
I suppose that all depends on the weather and temperature outside.
