Love you videos. BUT there is something really cool you could do that would really trip everyone out, in a good way. I have noticed that the ground water on your land is perfect for a hand drilled well using water pressure and PVC pipe. And it would give you clean water 🚱 💧 on some or all of your buildings. Now that's prepping. Hell you my save people's lives. I believe water is hands down the #1 most under prepped thing. God bless you and yours and happy 4th ...
Still using the K.I.S.S method. Happy 4th!!!!!
Absolutely
@@recall5811 hey buddy ty for the tips I will watch them asap got a busy schedule sorry to just to make sure you are not a scam just say to dw ty and have a blessed week
Hands down one of the best knot and/or ridgeline videos on UA-cam.
Your close up shots while making your knots are super helpful AF. Thank you as always for your high quality videos. ❤
Really liking these newer shorter videos for individual tips, and the overnighters showing how they all come together.
For a camper and senior citizen like me, your tips are really great. And your Camerawork is commendable too, Those close ups Of the knots really help.
Happy Independence Day to all you who are patriots and soldiers, marines, and sailors of our republic.
FREDRICKSBURG!
That third method is golden for the people I teach. One time it was myself teaching some close friends. It was hilareous. We worked out we didn't have a working body between the 4 of us.
I love your “how to” videos. I must have watched all of your knots and such videos and I can’t get enough of them . Needless to say, they have come to be super handy and helpful.
Thanks, Shawn. Hardest working content creator. Working on Independence Day.
Simple, elegant, informative. Another great video that can help get people who may be intimidated out in the woods to try new things.
This broken body with arthritic hands greatly appreciates that you are taking into account mobility and strength limitations.
I really like the truckers knot. Thanks for the clear instructions. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for showing ways who for one reason or another can't do bushcrafting like normal people. I was badly injured in an accident and my leg and hand was broken. I now have a metal rod in my leg and a metal plate in my hand. I thought i was going to have to give up bushcrafting because of my limitations. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing this. I appreciate that you keep showing the same knots. Teaching is repitition, learning is repitition. Knowing is half the battle
Excellent. 👍
As an old man this tip is golden. Thanks
great video and teaching!
Simplicity is beautiful.
Really like this one. Great idea. As an older (72) lady I will definitely use this tip.👍
I love seeing the knots and how there done
That automatic truckers hitch just seems convenient in general
Awesome! Especially, When Ya Been Working Construction Fixing Everyones Boo-Boo's All Week And Your Getting Hand And Finger Cramps Durring The Weekend Camping Trip With The Family!
Pa-Pow, Amen!
😎 🙉🙈🙊 🇺🇸
Anyone else have issues with being unsubscribed? I was unavailable on the 4th & 5th, but I was looking for a notification for a new video & nothing. I had to searched for the channel only to find I wasn't subscribed anymore.
YT claims they dont do this
I actually had that happen with this channel a while ago and had to resub a few months ago because it was gone off my list!
It happens.
I made a list of the channels I Really care about and make sure Every Monday that I'm subbed.
Great tip! Really helps us who have arthritis in our hands!
Just wanted to say thank you for years of great and informative videos. I didn't know how to tie a truckers hitch until i started wstching your videos. Now i use it all the time when securing a guide line to my kayak on the roof of my Jeep.(only not quick release method for my own piece of mind.)
Another incredible job of educating.
Now to tie one on for Independence Day. 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Yep, that should help them out. The things shown like this help those who don't think they can do things they want to try.
This is great for people like me with Hypermobilty. Especially in our hands/fingers. As a teenager doing military training knots were the bane of my life, even though I really wanted to learn them. Bungees to the rescue. I'm looking forward to practicing these knots. Outstanding AF as always. Thank you Corporal.
Ur a beast corporal I love ur shows I never miss them
I like to do two truckers hitches in line, gives me double the mechanical advantage. so basically go around the tree again with the tag end, then add another slip knot, then pull. You can go so tight the cordage will break lol.
Automatic trucker's hitch - very cool! 👍❤️👍
Thanks, this was very handy, love the double loop that holds it in place!
I like these quick back-to-basics videos.
Thank you again for your service corporal!!! Happy independence day brother!
Even with common things there’s room for improvement. Thanks Shawn.
Good Video! As we get older we need easier ways to keep enjoying the outdoors
Great video! Now, I need to practice before I show my grandson.
Excellent Excellent Excellent
Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge with a lot of people who don't know these tips and tricks . Even with those tips I have used for over 60 years . I still enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for a simple explanation that even I can understand!👍
You are above and beyond. Thank you. Excellent instruction and confidence building. You definitely helped me.
I learned this from you a long time ago, but the truckers hitch is such a useful knot outside of camping.
As always, most outstanding!!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Love these knot videos!
As someone with 2 arthritic thumbs this was brilliant.. especially the second tip! Thanks from downunder!
This bears repeating.
You do an OUTSTANDING job videoing tying knots !
Since I have trigger fingers in both hands, the addition of a handle makes a lot of sense for me. So far, I can pull cordage tight enough by hand. Using a handle tied on with Marlin knot will save my hands from some stress.
Thanks Corporal ! I appreciate your thoughtfulness .
Well done, Sir.
Awesome lesson . Thanks for this.
Good information. Even someone with strong hands can have trouble such as when hands are cold.
that automatic trick is pretty slick. actually figured that out years ago - completely by accident - while setting up a tarp one night. there might've been a few 'wobbly pops' involved (ahem), so i didn't even realize i'd done the two wraps until i reefed on it to tighten it up and was like "Wait a minute...." 😂
I feellike an idiot. I have done truckers hitch and never used the self locking. This is brilliant. No more grabbing the knot and trying to hold tension while securing!!!
Thank you for another knot video ❤️
Awsome tip. I will have to use that one.
Sorry for the late watch, tied up with Independence Day activities. Corporal, Happy Independence Day, and Thank You for fighting for our continued Independence!!!
most missed and as a result Yt hid the video and punished with low views
Just like that... another excellent educational video.
Wrap through twice is similar to a Surgeons Knot. Very nice application.
Thanks for the tips. The video and instructions are the best on U tube. Keep 'em coming!
Simple and great explanation.
Cool ridgeline info. Great to know. Thanks for the midweek.
Thank you for your service. Best Instructor AF
thanks please let youtube know this
My favorite knot. It was shown in one of your older videos and I've been using it since then.
In combination with T-Handle it is simply brilliant, I have rheumatoid arthritis. 👌👍
Yk its a good day when the corporal posts ,happy independence day and thank you for your service 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love how you've even adapted the vocabulary to a non-outdoor audience. Instead of bite, it's a pocket, and so on. That's another mark of a great teacher! You're not showing off, you are trying, and from my point of view succeeding, in transmitting your knowledge as clearly as possible to a huge audience.
Any 5yr old could understand knotwork explained as this!
I like this, thank you Cpl. Kelly
Thank you for showing this,, really will help .
Another great video Corp . It came at the perfect time. My son and some of his friends are taking a camping trip to the Boundary Waters of Northern Minnesota. He was grabbing some of my cordage from making a clothes line at there campsite. I told him watch one of your videos and sure enough the one he needed to see was the one you just posted! Thanks Corp!!!
Outstanding. 😃
Corporal, I live these explanations. Back to the basics. K.i.s.s.! Also, I miss some of your old shelter videos!
Using mule tape, or paracord, or bank line! Loved your swinging hammock bed for example! Or when you camped in the air off the rockface! Great stuff! Lifetime achievement award!
Good lesson today Corporal.
Great video. Simple and effective, and works great! Thanks.
Love the knot videos. I'm teaching them to my granddaughters. Thank you for your service and happy 4th!
Great video
Thanks for the video!!
Hoping your 4th O July went well.
See you Sunday!
Corporals Corner is the Knot Master !!!🪢
Super! Clear visualization of steps explained at a pace beginners can absorb.
Think you for showing disabled people this trick I would like to see more tricks to help disabled people how to do more on campaign or survival tricks
You're so smart. I like how you make it easy for everyone. Happy 4th of July!
Love your clear and concise tutorial videos! Keep it up.
Long time subscriber...excellent video, like all your videos...get'er done. 👍
👍 you make it “easy, peezy, lemon squeezy”!!!!!
Happy 4th of July Corporal and thank you for your service.
Love these knot and line videos as ive recently got into hammock camping. Thanks!!
Using red para-cord is much easier to see and understand the knot - 👍
Happy 4th of July, Corporal. Thank for your service, and keep cranking these outstanding bangers out
Happy Independence Day Corporal! I’m gonna use this knot to help me commemorate by throwing some tea in the local river.
Loved the tip, Happy Independence Day 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you very much.
Well explained
You can also use a tool from your tool kit to work as the handle for pulling it tight. This can be nicer on the hands than a rough stick.
the stick was smooth
@@recall5811 Sometimes that is not an option.
Great video! Thank you Shawn!
"Outstanding" good things to know
Always Outstanding AF.
Awesome as always
thank you for this video Dave
Great job!
This was the exact thing I was looking for. Struggling with grip as I'm aging and wanted some ideas. Cheers Corporal.
You're not alone, I occasionally have my body decide to have tendon issues just spring up for no reason. Sucks getting close to 60. And a wrist that feels and swells , like a sprain injury from an event that never occurred. Knee and opposite wrist this time. (mans pain level 7 or 8, throbbing last night)
Try getting out of a chair with those conditions.
I'm especially thankful to see corp drop this video today.
@@waynehendrix4806 Actually, old is 77yo (LOL). So, 17 years from now, you will REALLY appreciate this 🤣
Happy birthday America!
From the free yet humid state of AR... Thanks again for all the tips and your vidogrophy is far superior to your associates much appreciated and Carry on Sir!!
Great video that I'll watch a good few more times. Thanks for sharing
