the INFJ one is really accurate and is also the reason I can't seem to decide on what major for college. Just go with what you want a job in right? I think it's easier if you have an ultimate life goal/purpose, then it'll make you feel better going about your choice (I chose biophysics at the end :D) Good luck!!!

It's actually not defined well enough as just 16, There's some people who've turned it into 512 types. Those are generated using the functions, and then based upon which is their primary,secondary, tertiary and weak ( Ne,Ni, Te, Ti, Fe, Fi, Se, Si) Also they've both incorrectly typed themselves.

INTP seems quite accurate to me. Especially the whole "redoing the note so you get the pitch just right" - I do that basically every lesson. Anyway, I am INTP and talk way too much around my friends. But around other people I just shut up. It's like a total reverse transformation.

@@ColorOfIZONE The best way to become a great INFJ musician is to learn to put your existential crisis INTO the music. The normal INFJ crisis is so wide, deep and all encompassing that there is hardly any music that you can't put your existential crisis into. It also makes practicing, suddenly very interesting, and you find you can do it for hours and not even notice the time flying by.
As a Turbulent Mediator (INFP-T), I related to the INFP one so much. It's like however hard you try, you'll never be satisfied in yourself or your work and you just feel so lazy...

This is why I don't play my guitar much (I'm a bari sax native anyway)...I start playing scale exercises only to find a rhythm and progression that works really well, but doesn't QUITE finish the phrase...and 2 hours later I've found something that, "kinda works," but doesn't capture what it, "should," sound like. Then because it doesn't sound awesome all the way through I forget about it by the next week thinking that learning more music theory will help me finish these confounding phrases that I've forgotten about.

Nah, ENTP here. I learn my music all the way through. And very quickly by heart. My strength is improvisation because that's truly ENTP style. Keeps things new and fresh. But the classical stuff is fun too. Totally misrepresented in this video. Not into doing it traditionally at all. I would be the vibrato dude, not the historic nerd.
As an INFP, I feel called out, though we’re rarely ever as happy as Brett portrayed it. The soul crushing depression is so real y’all. I get so anxious about trying something and being bad at it that I don’t ever bother trying for fear of failure. Plus, even if I am objectively good at something, I will always find something to nitpick or critique that I end up convincing myself I suck and stop practicing because of imposter syndrome. I also do a lot of INFJ existential crisis thinking.

As an ISTP I dont think i'll be dedicated enough to keep on playing violin. We, well at least for me, love trying new things but we get bored of it easily 😂😂 plus with the amount time needed to spend on practice, i dont think an ISTP can handle the strict practice as we enjoy doing things in our own way and in our own time.

@@claudiacheng5519 I would recommend therapy so you can talk about these kinds of inner feelings you have. I did it for years as a child about your age and then again during college rather recently.
I know we typically have a hard time expressing the turmoil that lies beyond the surface, so it's important to learn how sooner rather than later and therapy may help you with that. Existential dread is also quite normal for thinkers like us, and we do need to be able to handle it.
I have sociopathic tendencies as well, ad both sociopaths and psychopaths are pretty common. "Very dark" thoughts are less so and a therapist might be able to help you work out why you are experiencing them.

@@awolfe725 I already feel free in my own body, but not to society. I've discovered some interests that I enjoy learning about (it sounds pathetic, but whatever). I don't trust anybody mostly due to my past, which makes me very hard to connect with. I prefer to stay by myself, but I guess typing on comment replies is okay.
I'm this way because I really believe in reality and truth, and I have to say the truth is really, *really* depressing. But even so, I enjoy learning more...

Its like I get obsessed with experimenting with the a part of the song/song on how I could alter the style of singing while staying in tune.
Next thing I know, the performance is just 2 days ahead while Im still practicing just that specific part of the song to perfect the alterations or a whole different song altogether. Lol
So in the end, I only get to practice a day before the performance or even less. (Sometimes just a couple of hours)😅

As INTP I've just had that contact conversation with some friends (was about a different bow hold Pablo Ferrandez showed in one of his vids) and they called me a freak, but I still hear a very clear difference.

I felt more power but I was getting tired of playing faster than before, and also, It was very much harder for me to do ub bow flying staccato, I realized it was not worth the extra effort to relearn all of those just for a bit more clarity or power in the sound
@1:50 actually, it's a very common misconception that baroque violinists don't use vibrato. They did, but they saw it as more of an ornament, to spice up the music, whereas today you vibrato on EVERYTHING. It's like how no one puts a trill in every single bar of a song, the baroque musicians didn't put vibrato everywhere either.
