I don't know why but I always root for Brett when they have these kind of games.
i root for Brett bec i already know Eddy will win, lol
Same 😂😂😂
I always go for Eddy!
Cause he never wins lol
Eddy is SO competitive, I always feel for Brett....
Brett doesn't handle panic as well, and is a lot more intuitive than analytical. Eddy is a very systematic and logical person who works well under pressure. These games are bound to go Eddy's way 😂
as for who can handle panic better, have you seen their VR and escape room vids?
so that's why Eddy usually wins these and Brett wins the rock paper scissors 😂
@@question5011 indeed. And it's also why Brett tends to do better in general on those "learn a new instrument in X minutes" I think. He just goes with his intuition, whereas Eddy is busy thinking of how to execute X or Y...
Eddy is a lot more competitive and is a jack of all trades, knows his way around everything. Brett is more a practice type and working hard type person, Eddy is a more intellectual person. I think Eddy's music has more colour but Brett is better.
Sooo impressed by Brett knowing a concert harp has 47 strings!
He did play one so that's not too strange.
The only thing he didn't try to guess💀
@@CloxxkiBoth have tried playing the harp in a video
500th like
But they didnt know that Bagatelle 25 was Fur Elise and that Chopin wrote 4 ballads instead of 32. That kinda outweighs what they already know imo.....
Don't you just love how Brett attacks the button and then gets the blank stare and says "oh no" 😹
It’s exactly what happened to when when I would go to my flute lessons as a kid, like everything I learned and practiced over the week just fell out my ears lol
I like the studio quality but I do miss the emotional support wall from violin charades.
(they spent December in Singapore, away from that support wall in Australia)
This is the first time I've headd it called the emotional support wall omg 😂😂
I loved when Eddy started accompanying Brett. Another fantastic episode!
Not many people will understand your profile pic, but I do. Hope.

No laying on the table, Eddire, closer to the buzzer! 😅😅😅
@@beastasfiist It's from Uncharted 4
I do love these high production quality videos, but I kind of miss them two sitting in their studio talking, bantering and nerding out about what they love too.
Same
same love that they are growing but i miss nerding out 😢
@@ducks5377 right? And the simple way of their old videos, the coziness of it.

@@sabrinai ik right 😭
Man, I cannot believe how much Eddy knows and remembers, especially in round 1. Learning and knowing is one thing, but remembering all of it and recalling the information as and when needed is another.
That's the science of our brain. Braincells constantly get fired repeatedly when they are familiarized, so when in this specific game, when he gets these questions be remembers.
i just think eddy has that natural intelligence. hes also good at words and explaining
That's why his mother wanted him to be a doctor
@@timsamong Not "our" brain ;) I mean that's how the science works but certain brains outperform other brains lol.
@@beetleorangejuice Eddy is more of a Jack of all trades guy, he knows a lot and could survive in other surroundings, he's the type to explore and form his opinions, whilst Brett is more of the traditional asian musician, I feel like he is more skilled in the violin but Eddy is more knowledgeable, Brett seems to be the type to work hard.
Remember when they used to pick the questions out of a cloth pouch
and Brett would Aways hold them up to the camera, even though half the time we couldn't read them?
😅😅😂
I always assumed that was for the editor, otherwise it might be impossible to work out what they’re attempting to portray sometimes. 😆
Brett's laugh gets more Mozart-y by the day
Ikr?!! 😂😂 I noticed too
Yikes. Way to compliment a man 😀
You can see Brett's eyes twinkle with mischief right before making Eddy's hand press the button.
Eddy is just too good at these kind of nerd stuff! Unbelievable how broad his knowledge is.
He is a weeb
Though
I have a friend just like that and it's scary how like any topic comes up and they fill my brain with knowledge they like hacked the system or something 😂
@@user-od8rf2op8eand?
I wish I had THAT broaden knowledge as Eddy has based on classical music
I just love how Brett, the quiet peaceful soul, is making sure that the buzzer is ok after that aggressive taping it went through 😂 14:05

The tritone was never banned, that's a myth; it was usually avoided because it was difficult to sing and was considered unpleasant, but it was still used sometimes.
Makes it a wrong answer and therefore one more point for Brett and one less for Eddy xD
ye, i thought that was more well known, well known enough to be fact checked in a 2set vid
But we just love shitting on the medievals because old thing bad
Yea I was surprised that was in there, I can't imagine both of them, and whoever wrote these questions didn't know that isn't true, just a popular myth.
Adam Neely got 1.2M views on his video on this (watch?v=3MhwGnq4N9o), but that's nowhere near enough to stop a myth this old and widespread.
I love how eddy is always so competitive while brett is just an old man having fun🤣
I was yelling "4 Ballades" and "Fur Elise" at my computer. Funny how selective our knowledge is when it comes to our respective instruments!
Those were also almost the only ones I knew haha… and the Ballade one only because I am playing one right now.
@@consequenceoferror4727 Ooh which one?? They're all amazing, aren't they? I've only played No. 3
@@sethmetcalfe5745 Also No. 3, but when I have time I definitely want to play the other ones, they're all so beautiful.
And the rach 4, which funnily enough could be paired at the end of the rach 3 as it would be 3 ending in d major and the rach 4 starting with a d major chord...
There are "Liebesfreud" which basically means "Joy of Love" and "Liebesleid" which means "Love Suffering". So they're kind of like two sides of love.
Not to forget Libestraum, Dreams of love
Emo
Uh, liebeslied means love song, not love suffering.
@@composaboi liebesLIED yes, but not Liebesleid, which is the actual title of the piece (even though twoset always pronounces it as "lied")
@@Robopup325 yeah but thats by liszt not kreisler, different composer
4:20 you can see Brett's soul leaving his body as he realises the opportunity he missed
We all know eddy is going to win this :)

Yes!!
Who is team brett 👇
We do
haha same
TwoSet has done much to advance interest in classical music. Great role models for the young...and older.
⚠️FOR BRETT AND EDDY⚠️
Its interesting seeing twosets quality improving, but I think we all miss the classics like goofy violin charades and low quality memes or random skits. Also strange watching twosets style improve over the years (good thing...)Brett and Eddy, we love this new glow up on both content and style, but please,we miss the old videos of just two best friends making silly videos and genuinely having fun, rather than youtubers just making content for the sake of content. Again, we'll love you guys no matter what, but i think we all scroll to your oldest videos and only glance at your latest ones because you can genuinely see the raw happiness and sillines in your content, and as the years go by, while yes, technically the quality improves, that precious joy and fun in making content- good or bad- seems to slowly disappear. Im not saying you guys dont love making videos ( i dont know you guys personally!) but im saying that focus less on creating new, exciting videos that may get more views and are technically more exciting, and please remember that even your silliest, most random videos and skits are made hilarious by you guys just being you guys! Its not the script that makes a video great, or the quality or the perfect hair and outfits or the backgrounds or scenarios, but the PEOPLE behind the cameras, that marks great content several notches higher than the average youtuber looking for views. Have fun, just trust that we'll love it no matter what, because at the end of the day, we just love watching Brett and Eddy on Twosetviolin being themselves, and that wont change regardless.
although i find this the case for many youtubers, actors, producers and celebrities... it is very hard not to change under the pressure... i love the purity of when they didn't have to care about audience, marketing, money, schedule, restrictions and all that, it was so pure the way they laughed and did silly things that were truly themselves
In 1875, the French composer Saint-Saëns came to Moscow to give concerts. He turned out to be a handsome, charming and very lively person. It turned out that he and Tchaikovsky had many common interests, for example, ballet. Both of them were regulars at ballet performances in their youth.
One evening, three of them together with Nikolai Rubinstein staged a choreographic improvisation on the theme “Pygmalion and Galatea.” It happened on the stage of the concert hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
The part of Pygmalion was danced by the 35-year-old professor of music theory Tchaikovsky, Galatea was portrayed by the 40-year-old Saint-Saëns, and his peer, the director of the conservatory, Nikolai Rubinstein, improvised the musical accompaniment at the piano, portraying a theater orchestra.
There was no audience, however. This story was told in his book “The Life of Tchaikovsky” by the composer’s brother Modest.
How sweet. Two great composers having shared interests , doing what they love.
Watching Brett exercising after the final round while Eddy playing Offenbach Cancan was hilarious 😂
That part really got me too 😂
That button was really the third main character here. Their shenanigans with it were so goofy 😂😂
We have evolved from blurry cameras and lightings to high definition studios with ambient lightings, so proud of twoset!!!
BUT WE DON'T EVEN CAN'T HEAR THE QUESTIONS?!
@@nom3nnescio I'm no expert but it probably means they only mic'd the 2 of them and/or that area. I think "they" are supposed to hear the questions and the text is for viewers. I don't think the reader was supposed to be the MC but she was just reading it to them to keep the show going, so she wasn't mic'd.
The audio is messed up though. Not only can you not hear the questions, but Brett and Eddy's voices are also weird...like echoey or over-edited because the original quality was poor.
Now we just need to get microphones for everyone
i love how they're always competing for a bubble tea and not for money like most of big youtubers
Twoset slowly becoming a show and slowly leaving the "UA-camrs" vibe 😂
"I feel so dumb right now" - me whenever they play such games and I don't know at least half the answers.
Brett: "what's he doing in Russia?"
Who's gonna tell him that people traveled back in the day as well just less comfortably 😅
I think he'd already gotten bored with the local talent. Not all the greats shared te same era of course.
“Brett, feel the button” says Eddy with obvious intent. Tee hee! Even though the music sounds fantastic in this new space, their interactions bring us right back to their old homey filming studio. Thanks for continuing to be the TwoSet we know and cheer on. 😊
The longer the video, the happier I am
1:50 The Tritone was NOT banned in the middle ages. Adam Neely did a whole video on it, called "The Great Myth of the Medieval Tritone Ban"
Nor is Mozarts cause of death known for certain. (AFAIK)
"It's not the kangaroo"
I laughed ways too hard at this line.
it instantly reminded me of what brett said about it in another vid: "have you guys heard it? its so depressing..."
Brett dancing and hopping around singing the tutti part is the cutest thing I've seen after them wearing those sleep masks in their Christmas video!
I love these games the most, the boys get the most fired up and competitive and we get to be in awe at their knowledge
Brett dancing around as the other accompanying instruments was my favorite bit lmao
8:40 Brett is a pure mastermind
You can clearly see when he let his intrusive thought win 😂
Yes!
Love how Eddy knows so much esoteric trivia but doesn't know how many ballades Chopin wrote 🤣 the easiest question thus far lmao
he is a violinist
@@e2pii213 so? his knowledge extends far beyond the classical violin repertoire. this was surprising xD
I know right? When I heard 32, I was like "No, that’s Beethoven numbered piano sonatas oh my god 😂" Like really, how could someone mix up Chopin’s ballades with Beethoven’s piano sonatas, just how?
It’s actually incorrect that the tritone was banned due to being considered the work of the devil. “Diabolus in musica” wasn’t even referenced till the 18th century. It was never banned, simply avoided for being considered acoustically displeasing and going against the desired style at the time.
I can’t name a single piece of classical music but for some reason I’m obsessed with this content
I don’t play an instrument and I know barely anything about classical music but Brett and Eddy are so entertaining to me for some reason.
I knew from the start that Eddy was screwed when he had to play the Ysaye Ballade in front of Brett, who literally had a masterclass on this piece with Maxim freaking Vengrov >:)
Twosets video quality is getting more amazing every video🤩!
Also is it just me or is it relatable when Brett said “I’m just warming up” 😂😂. Who has said that when they accepted a challenge and starts losing at first 😂?
There's something really off about the audio recently though...
I’m sorry but audio is getting worst,
I haven’t noticed the audio getting worse… when did it start getting bad?
What I meant was the quality of the video in terms of the set, ideas, entertainment that comes from involvement in the activity rather than reacting, and camera quality then their early videos
Yea, but the sound quality isn’t the best
WE CAN NOT EVEN HEAR THE QUESTIONS! lol at high quality. This video is pure shiiite.
Srsly, can we have a full version of Intro and Rondo Capriccioso played by Brett and Eddy together? It’s so fabulous even they just played it for a few seconds in the vid🥹
Love that last piece when Eddy just joined in instead of pranking. What a wonderful ending to the game.
Me who only took Music Fundamentals one semester pausing to answer “Beethoven” to every question 😭
The eternal twoset victory emblem : ✨ *bubble tea* ✨
Brett and Eddie play so beautifully together. The burpee scene was great.
Man, their videos just keep on getting better and better. They really invest on their production a lot. Let's hope they get that 5 mil sooner than later!
i dont think eddy wants that 5 mil too soon...
HOWWW is this better? Wa can not even hear the questions?! This is pure shiiite video! LOWWWWW "quality" next time give mic to the person giving the questions
17:38 I love that, despite their being adversaries in this, Eddy still supports his friend in the piece and doesn't just watch/listen for mistakes.
I love it when they are wholesome❤
4:16 the IRONY
Loved the s-s intro rondo capriccioso duet, great resonance in that room. One of my favorite pieces ❤ 17:51
YESSSSSS we need a full performance of this!!! Love the piece, would love to hear it as a duet!
Thank you editor-san for showing the questions and the answer on screen hehehehe 😅❤
eddy is so intelligent when it comes to classical music. legend says ling ling taught a special method 😂

8:39 Feels nice, this button…OY! *laughing

16:35 no you’re pranking me..
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE listening to Brett and Eddy play!!!!!!!!! The two of them have taught me one HELLUVA LOT as well, for which I will ALWAYS be ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!!!!!!!!! Julie Gill, Glasgow, Scotland.
Is it just me or are twoset’s thumbnail covers getting more and more epic
What I learned from this video is that 30 seconds feels alot longer when you have to perform😏
17:32 bros just morphed from competition mode to duet ❤
03:52 😂
The violins sound sweet in that space. ❤
18:22 Brett! Those are hard to do!
9:49 Why do I feel so stupid right now?-Me all the time…
They should totally become guest stars on University Challenge!
You mean none of their answers were LAMENTABLE :-)?
Rachmaninov’s 4th piano concerto is beautiful but sadly under-appreciated : thank you Two Set for letting people know about it! Great show!
Bro, let me tell you that I jumped out of my seat and started humming along when it came on, not to mention that I was mildly frustrated that they didn't know 😂
I almost spat out my water when Brett said chopin wrote 32 ballades
whisfull thinking:-)
But them playing the last one together was my favourite for sure!It sounded so good.
it’s so adorable how excited eddy always gets
I love when Twoset nerds out about classical music!
Great video and content, and I love you guys! 😘😘
Next time please give a mic to the lady who reads the questions.

Love it when Eddy starts to accompany Brett
Finally!! Ive been waiting this whole year!
This is my favourite video of Brett & Eddy,so much fun to watch. The playing from both of them was 😁👏
I love when TwoSet posts. Glad they are again.
I always love TwoSet's content, but in this video I found myself really enjoying their playing. So beautiful!
Every time eddy wins but I always cheer for Brett because I don’t have perfect pitch either :)
These are my favorite videos. Love to watch you play!!
this is the earliest i have been to a video, also twoset violin, has probably helped me through so much of my violin work and they just inspire me to work harder and achieve small but helpful goals.
Eddy is always so happy when he wins😄
And Brett is so gracious when he losses.
3:46 Eddy does a happy dance then transitions to a tik-tok dance and then starts ‘conducting’ in 4/4..

It's always uplifting to see their passion for music and their genuine friendship. It's hard not to smile
I feel like Eddy has a much crisper sound in this video! The accoustics of the room probably help though haha
I love to see Eddy and Brett grow and experiment with new formats. 3 games in one video is great and the buzzer is a nice addition. But I do miss the cosiness of the older videos. Just two guys from next door, talking about their passion. Those videos made classical music more relatable because of the relaxed and informal way it was presented.
I’m afraid the sterile white studio and the purple lighting are creating more distance between them and the viewers. And they don’t talk into the camera any more, but to an unknown person somewhere in the studio, which makes it less personal as well.
Of course they can’t just keep repeating what they did before over and over again. That would kill all creativity. I just hope they will be able to bring back some of the cosiness again.
I enjoyed the video anyway, because they are still their silly selves. It’s just this new format that needs some tweaking IMHO
They spent December in Singapore, where they do not have that cozy home studio. They used the same studio, where they recorded the Christmas video for recording three more. (1Brett vs 9 WOMEN, Guess the Classical Musician and this one.) Considering their year long world tour, either they stop making videos or we have to accept the different studios.
I understand the 'two guys' nostalgie, but after beeing stuck together 24/7 for 4-6 weeks during tour legs, they might want to enjoy the company of their friends. (See the two Brisbane videos.)
@@e2pii213 I understand they are very busy. And I do hope they will take enough time to relax and rest.
I think they are putting way more effort and work into the videos now, than before.
@@e2pii213 just out of curiosity, where do you think they have recorded their videos during their 4-year stay in Singapore?
@@sage.alcantara Yes, it's absolutely normal that new fan(if they really is) is unclear abt their living situation along with the home studio situation. But as you said, saying TwoSet don't have cozy home studio in Singapore as a fact is another thing, meanwhile using this as the reason why their video style changed is just purely absurd.
Nicely said.
Wow the settings are getting better! So nice to see TS is developing ❤
We need some more old school skits but with this new high quality visual. Now that would be interesting!
It's so beautiful that even when it's not their turn to play, they would harmonize and support each other still.
