@@Kholilx I am so so sorry, but my INTP brain IMMEDIATELY assumed that "5y(19y - 24y)" was an algebraic equation, and tried solving it. I'll see myself out.
The INTP one is very accurate. It's the exact reason why I love electronic music made on computers above all else; it offers unlimited possibilities, potential for complexity and sonic experimentation. I don't understand why people get hung up on some ''need'' to use actual musical instruments, they're only limiting the possibilities and making it significantly harder to achieve anything. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the ability to write compelling music and to translate it into sound... also good sound quality, so sound engineering is crucial.
INFP: "I like playing coffee shops, they have coffee, it's great. Plus, if I play coffee shops for the rest of my life then I never have to test whether or not I can truly love up to my potential." Me too. I am working on an album right now and I keep dragging it out as I ride waves of fear and resistance. I won't even share how long I have been working on it.
INTJ - Decided to teach myself to play bass when I was a teen. Started with Metallica - Anesthesia (if you're not familiar with it, it's an incredible bass solo by the late, great Cliff Burton). I managed to get to the point where I could play it at half-speed before I had to give up. Unbeknownst to me at the time, I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder that causes my joints to hyperextend and dislocate easily. Bass requires a lot of finger pressure and I would have to end each practice session after about 15 - 20 minutes when my fingers would get stuck hyperextended backwards and I would have to spend the rest of the day coaxing them back into proper alignment.
Oh, yes. Reading sheet music is a wonderful ability, but I think learning it beginning at age 8 hampered my ability to do stuff by ear. I was so proud when I sounded out how to play a measure or two to make a piano version seem fuller (i.e. like the recording).
As an INTJ, if I had talent in music, I would learn how to play on like 10-15 instruments, record myself playing on the ones that I need in the song+myself singing it, i would learn how to photoshop, and then I would put idk how many "clones" of me in the video, playing on different musical instruments, singing, and maybe even dancing. It would look like a Postmodern Jukebox video (I would sing in their style among others, too), just one person would do all the work. This way I could avoid awkward group work. I wouldn't have to give a damn about other's opinions. I would be free.
My husband is an INTJ and actually learned one instrument before realizing he could just pick up other instruments, figure out the way they operate and immediately begin playing as though he was trained on that instrument. This is the reason we have several intrumemts in our house. He likes to play them all. And your plan for having your own one man band is EXACTLY the type of take over the world scheme he would come up with. Cracks me up! 😂
Me: Watches the INTP segment. Also me: Sigh. If only I had computer skills. I'm such a terrible INTP. My ukulele: It's okay. I'm here for you. My flute: Hey. Don't forget about me! I know the ukulele is newer, but I really thought we had something special!
@CrysJay same, I'm an INTP im not very good with computers and I don't like gaming :/ but when it comes to music I analize every single detail and look for the logic behind the sounds. Then I debate in my head about music and all the things I've analized
Ok but that INFJ one... I have my Master's and Bachelor's degrees in vocal performance, and have been playing violin for 18 years. I can remember saying almost those exact words to people. Scarily accurate!
My gosh, as a musician and someone who STILL doesn't know if they are an INFJ or a mistyped INTP, this made it so much harder - *they are both so accurate.*
I am an INTP MBTI and INFJ Grant. The way I live spells INTP. Someone else do the math on how many more personalities are needed in MBTI to overlap all of the personalities.
Yes! Smallsteps are best for me as an ISFJ! I am progressing further and continuing to never give up on my goals! At least I’m moving forward and not backwards! Also I am learning Lyra right now and just got a hoop of my own and I am getting better and better each day as I practice what I have already learned!
I am an INFJ writer, and that is legit how I approach my books. I as the author can only pose the question! The story will provide the answer if there is one! 🤣
Same here, im writing about a character who is lost, trying to find meaning. Yet, I myself as the author struggle with the answers, and I get lost. Lol. How do u deal with this as a writer?
@@nikkig9630 It's a conundrum, isn't it? 😅 So far my experience has taught me to trust the story. For my own sake, writing has become my therapy, and in some ways my meaning, too.
I love how he gets the introverts! I have many introvert friends (none of them fellow musicians, though...) and I see the resemblance in their characteristics and how they coincide with his skits! Pretty spot on with them. 🙌🏼
Love the vid as always but can we appreciate how real the bonfire scene looked with the lighting? And that Frank's added new props?? These are getting better and better, we appreciate the effort!
This is why I love musical pieces (classical in particular) more than any other music genre. It expresses my feelings without any need for words because most of the time my feelings and emotions are so difficult to express in actual words. We constantly search for the meaning of things, deep things such as the meaning of life. If we don't find it in a song or piece, it won't make it in our multiple-by-genre playlists. ~ INFJ-A
Infp here and that’s so accurate!! I play 9 instruments but prefer to play for myself and friends only. I basically collect instruments cause each makes me feel a different way LOL I get nervous playing in big crowds, the coffee shop gig life is goals tbh😭🎶

Bass requires a lot of finger pressure and I would have to end each practice session after about 15 - 20 minutes when my fingers would get stuck hyperextended backwards and I would have to spend the rest of the day coaxing them back into proper alignment.
As an ISTJ who played an instrument in school, the sheet music is indeed very important.
Haha yes I literally stress the heck out without my sheet music🤣
Jazz is not for you 🤣
as an ISTJ that was so frickin accurate
I'm an ESTJ and I agree! 😹 On one of the songs I'm working on I can only play 2 lines without the sheet music! 🤪
Oh, yes. Reading sheet music is a wonderful ability, but I think learning it beginning at age 8 hampered my ability to do stuff by ear. I was so proud when I sounded out how to play a measure or two to make a piano version seem fuller (i.e. like the recording).
You nailed INTJ. Shred metal is my favorite thing to play
ISTP bass 👍
Maybe we’ll get to hear more on a livestream some day?
I'm an istp (I think) and it's so strange because I've been debating whether or not to by a bass recently and then this video pops up lmao
@@m_n_a_b I'm glad I made you laugh! It seems like this band would already have at least one fan. 😄
Awww...to dream.
Same, bro. I could make such epic chillstep music if I could just download the know-how into my brain.
I have a uke as well, also a very mini ocarina. Fortunately for everyone else I don't play them often but I used to take the uke on road trips haha
@CrysJay same, I'm an INTP im not very good with computers and I don't like gaming :/ but when it comes to music I analize every single detail and look for the logic behind the sounds. Then I debate in my head about music and all the things I've analized
INFJ here, so agree with the message of music that you said during the INFJ segment. Music is the best language, even angels speak in music.
That awkward moment when I realise that my violin is my only friend
That's because you practice 40 hours a day

Loved this musician video, thank you FJ

if you can play it slowly...

Never thought I’d see a twoset reference under a Frank James video but here we are
I love how the Vsauce theme plays for a split second after the ENTP says "What if it is?" at 0:35
There are about 3 or 4 youtubers that make me literally laugh out loud and Frank is 2 of them. Always enjoy the videos!!!
What's the others
@@mikemack7933 I love Stevie T and Davie 504. I enjoy their playing and they make me laugh. 👍

@@Heliorhodonite I will def check that out! Thanks!
And you also play the bass and guitar! Wow! 👌🏼😃👍🏼
As an intp, I choose to learn all the solos whenever we have to play as a band so that I don't have to deal with ✨ humanity ✨😂

@@antoniovivaldi1 hi vivaldi what are you doing here
Ok but that INFJ one... I have my Master's and Bachelor's degrees in vocal performance, and have been playing violin for 18 years. I can remember saying almost those exact words to people. Scarily accurate!

Holy shit the INFJ one is so accurate 😂
Finally done
Thanks for the timestamps! 😊
Wow that infj one was done really well... I love playing the piano and that is how I feel EXACTLY in the video ❤
I have been waiting for this one a LOOOOOOOONG time
Totally worth it
As an INFJ - it's a little bit too accurate. Everyone always asks: "What did you mean by it?" Can't you people just guess?
Right! Why can’t ‘em just guess? Why i need to tell ‘em everything? 😐
Yes, I literally have a playlist of piano pieces that means a lot of things, and when I heard it I hear a lot of emotions.
If they ask it means they're interested though?
Francesco M good point... But it just annoys me, can't help it
Why can't they just feel the answer? Or why does it have to be told explicitly?
The songs I like are either soul penetrating or completely meaningless catchy songs... No in between xD
Same🙋
*penetrating* looool
I am sorry

lemme guess...you're an INFJ?

Love the vid as always but can we appreciate how real the bonfire scene looked with the lighting? And that Frank's added new props?? These are getting better and better, we appreciate the effort!
infp was so accurate that I almost gasped
Wow like the bass💯
This is why I love musical pieces (classical in particular) more than any other music genre. It expresses my feelings without any need for words because most of the time my feelings and emotions are so difficult to express in actual words.
We constantly search for the meaning of things, deep things such as the meaning of life. If we don't find it in a song or piece, it won't make it in our multiple-by-genre playlists.
~ INFJ-A
I just gotta say that FJ, you are an amazing musician, dude!!
And in another life, I would totally play drums with you. haha

Love seeing you play music even if it's just for a few seconds 😊 Great video!!!
Aaaaa omg, I'm a ENTJ and i'm a conductor. There is the natural order of Universe. 😜. 💕
Yes. We don't look for the baton, the baton finds us.
ONE OF FAVE UA-camR REFERENCES ONE OF MY OTHER FAVES THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY
As an ISFJ music student, the ISTJ one actually more accurately describes me for once... there's a reason I avoid jazz and stick to classical piano :D
Oh man, the INFP one hit hard. Just replace playing music at coffee shops with doodling in my spare time, and that’s basically me.
Wonderwall is always a classic.
Infp here and that’s so accurate!! I play 9 instruments but prefer to play for myself and friends only. I basically collect instruments cause each makes me feel a different way LOL I get nervous playing in big crowds, the coffee shop gig life is goals tbh😭🎶
Wow 9 instruments. That's amazing!!! How did you manage to learn so many and what instruments are they if you don't mind me asking?
As an INFJ with a Masters in Vocal Performance, this was absolutely hilarious, true, and the best ever. Thank you! 🤣😅
