- Kayson had a bad weekend he got her two different times one of the Times we had to take him out to the ER. Fred is also missing but as you see we do find him at the end of the video.

I’m glad y’all found Frred, and I was hoping you’d say that you were taking your son to the ER. For future reference if someone needs stitches it’s better to get them done as soon as possible, especially mouth, or eye wounds.

Oh Kayson! It's like the bees have radar that zooms in on you. Hope you had an epi pen at home. You shouldn't be walking around barefoot either. I do so enjoy watching the kids doing specific jobs n helping out with all the chores around the farm. They are a great team. GO TEAM EDDY!

Chad's neighbor has some Pyrenees puppies and the Walkers has one I think left of their dogs that you could use too
You live in rural Oklahoma there are raccoons, bobcats, dogs, foxes, coyotes. The chickens need an enclosed pen and a solid coop.

There are 12 children in my family and I have two siblings who are tremendously allergic to bee stings and we have to keep those EpiPen‘s in the vehicle at all times and she hast to keep them in her vehicle now that she’s an adult as well!!! She has come so close to death and it’s just not worth taking a chance. The more it happens the worse it gets so I do encourage you guys to do your very best to keep them in the vehicle. I know you have your hands very full with so much going on. I just felt so very bad for all of you. I just want to say that I think your children are so well adverse to change when ever something comes up and they’re very flexible and cooperative about it without having an attitude & Crying and having a fit. I also want to say that they are such good helpers and I think Mom and Dad, you’ve done a wonderful job in raising your children with loving kindness and how you talk to them and how you talk to them and discipline them and teach them. Truly I don’t know how many children the ages of your children could endure the long hours out in the heat working on a farm like yours do without complaining. Instead they just seem to want to help you and I excited to be a part about it. I’m so proud of them and the parents both equally😊♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️❣️
My prayers will be with Kayson as he goes to the dentist tomorrow and that he will not have to endure very much pain as they repair the broken tooth and the other tooth and also, that you will feel angels beside him as his teeth heal and he is able to cope with the pain from his injury🙏
You need an LGD out there. It would cut down considerably on the predators taking advantage of you not being able to be there all the time, an alpaca, emu or a donkey would also protect.

Livestock guardian dog would save you a lot of trouble. Even donkeys are great at keeping predators away. Chickens need roosting area.

Kayson is an accident waiting to happen. He, maybe, should consider being an accountant or a lawyer or something that keeps him inside and mostly in a chair.
If he has allergies, you have to keep an epi-pen in your glovebox. Minutes can make a difference. Our granddaughter is one of those kiddos and we had to keep an epi-pen with us at all times. It got to be part of getting dressed in the morning. The doctor told us that each attack can become worse. So, please, be safe. You don't want to be out on your beautiful property and watch your child choke to death. You can never get rid of every bug. Jason also needs to learn how to inject himself and the other kids should learn how to step up and help him.
Hint: if you have one child with severe allergies, chances are you have more that just have not shown up yet.

I found a channel yesterday, and saw the other accident, that resulted in surgery. I thought this was going to be the film of the day that that happened. Poor Kayson! As far as the EpiPen, you’ll need to have one wherever he’s going to be. My son used to have to carry two on his person, and three if he was going up into the mountains.(where they would have to helicopter him out) I saw him experience anaphylaxis once. And that was enough. Sorry about your chickens, that’s a hard loss. Here we have bobcats, coyotes, raccoons, possums and they will all kill chickens. We had a coyote jump over an 8 foot fence topped with a razor wire, three strands of it. Our dog was barking like crazy and we open the front door, and it was standing right there. We don’t have any chickens. I wish we did,😊

Kayson was not exhibiting anaphylaxis with that bee sting…why would you give him Epinephrine? An Epi pen is for emergencies only and you can do some serious damage giving someone a dose of Epinephrine if they are not having an allergic reaction. If he was allergic, he would immediately have hives all over his body, he would be having difficulty breathing, his tongue would feel as if it was swelling….he showed no symptoms. Not dogging your parenting but rather questioning why you were going to give him Epinephrine when he clearly was not anaphylactic. Benadryl works for mild, localized in one place hives. Tylenol every four hours and Motrin every six hours helps with pain.
We did not give him the pen he did not break out but I do know everybody reacts different and with him it usually takes 15 to 20 minutes before it starts breaking out or swelling up really bad.
@@EddyFamilyFarm makes sense. My oldest is anaphylactic with all bees except wasps. It was painful and scary to watch her go through that. So I do understand. She became allergic after the second bee sting because the drs and allergists have said you won’t know if they are allergic until they have been bitten twice. Hopefully that won’t be Kayson. Hope he is healing well and the dentist can fix his teeth.

just as a suggestion my grandson also has a epy pen, at first we thought the second one was a back up but we learned from the doctor that there is a low dosage and in case the first injection doesn't work then you have the second one. It was from an ER doctor, my g-son was learning about the pen and accidentally release the injection into his chest and off we went. Hope your son is alright big hugs to him.

Im so sorry Kason has had such a rough few days! He started out with a smashed mouth (no relation to he rock band, lol) then got stung by a big mean bee/wasp. I hope he gets better quickly and doesnt suffer too long.

Thank goodness mouths heal up fast. I hope🙏🏼 Kayson’s does. When I was three, I bit the tip, the very tip of my tongue almost off. It was hanging by a piece of skin underneath.. My dad stayed up all night to keep me from scraping the blood clot off my tongue with my teeth. I’m 65 years old and I have my tongue. Mouths are amazing. Praying that his teeth strengthen and everything heals up quickly.

Wish your son a speedy recovery, I carry epic pens just I case of shell fish 🐟 8 mg kaiser gives them to me thank God only used once; how's Fred is he still home , GOD BLESS the FAMILY
Fred snuck off to our neighbors but he is coming home soon
You can help with the swelling by taking some baking soda and add a little water to it to make a paste . Put it on the bee sting after you make sure the stringer is out. It will help draw out the venom along with helping to keep the swelling down. Every time the paste drys take it off and put more wet paste on . Do it until you think it's not swelling anymore about 5-6 times or more just use your judgement. You might want to ask his doctor if baking soda on his skin will cause any reaction with his epi pen. It does help I have used it . This ISN'T IN PLACE OF HIS PEN. Just to help swelling at the site and help draw some of the stinger venom out.

I am guessing a coyote is more likely the possibility. Never had issues with bobcats or cougars in the past, course we had farm dogs too and for the most part the one keep everything away. He was a 250 lb 3/4 wolf 1/4 malamute name CJJ (calling jessie james). Best dog I ever had for around the farm (only bad thing with him is he was a chicken killer - didn't have chickens back then just cattle and horses). Just to give an idea of his size, I had a vet out to worm and vaccinate 10 dogs (2 adults and 8 puppies [purebred registered golden retrievers], 5 horses, 3 cats, and 2 bottle calves), when the vet went to worm CJJ (CJ) he could put his balled up fist down his throat and not touch the sides. I am 5'9" and his shoulders were level with the top of my hip bone. He was not fun in a vehicle at all LOL, he took up the whole back seat of a club cab Ford 150 and lord the hair that he would shed in the spring, multiple 50lb horse feed sacks worth. Anyways glad you found Fred and he is ok. Yes you need to look into getting a livestock guardian dog (do not run them in with the ponies though especially if they are not used to dogs - either the dog can/will get hurt by being stomped, kicked, or bitten or the horses/donkey can/will get hurt by leg injuries, going through fence and getting caught up if barbwire etc.).
