The hype for Wingstop is so crazy in South East Asia that someone created a service that will personally deliver Wingstop to your home in Malaysia from a Singapore outlet because they don’t have stores in Malaysia
They used to have it in Malaysia but I think it got hit by the pandemic hard… I tried it once back in KL it was good.. no other wing shop can beat the variety of flavour choices of wingstop till now
I used to eat Wingstop all the time, they’re a little too pricey now, and the last couple of times that I went sometime last year, the wings were a little inconsistent. As to where before they were very consistent, but after watching this, I’ll give them another shot. I do think wings is one of those things that is very hard to get right when you do it pays, I currently go to two wing spots that I love and I probably go there at least twice a month to each. Every once in a while, I venture out to try new wings at other places, but they never meet my expectations.
It’s been expensive right off the rip. I would have never gone if my gf 10 year old son didn’t suggest it. He’s 16 now and we still go all the time.. everything’s expensive nowadays but it puts a smile on his face for some reason.. 🤷♂️

I think part of the success of their franchising model is that they eliminate a lot of the riff raff. In order to be a franchisee, you need a minimum net worth of $1.2 million and at least $600,000 in cash. Compare that to Subway, where you only need a net worth of $80,000, with at least $40,000 of it in cash. It looks like Wing Stop is intentionally only vetting those with prior/ existing franchise experience. Or at the very least, those with substantial capital, that more or less proves they have some sort of business savvy.
@@1rotimithat might be true, but I experienced bad wings from each time I went. It is 8 minimum. 8 wings only with dip is $17 in Los Angeles! Combo is over $22! What?! I can go to Chilis and sit down meal for $22. I can understand wings are expensive but there are other choices. I like wingstop since they put one in my town recently. It is not cheap though. Cheaper to wait for a wing night at a traditional restaurant but I do enjoy what I’ve tried.
Wingstop even has several restaurants in Korea. I don't think they are hot here, but it has potential. I personally like Louisiana Rub flavor. I hope they add more menus, like burgers and salad.
