Johnny absolutely loved June….the look of joy and smile on his face as he looked at her said it all. That joy contributed to the music they left us. Reunited very quickly, they rest in peace x
“One morning, about four o'clock, I was driving my car just about as fast as I could. I thought, 'Why am I out on the highway this time of night?' I was miserable, and it all came to me: 'I'm falling in love with somebody I have no right to fall in love with. I can't fall in love with this man, but it's just like a ring of fire.” ― June Carter Cash
She co-wrote it with her sister, Anita, who was the first to ever record it. Hers didn't get a lot of attention (although she sang it like an angel and her version is my favorite) so Johnny added the Mexican trumpets and had the Carter sisters sing backup and Anita played bass.
Such beautiful photographs. From everything I've read, love shone from June like a lighthouse for the world and I think from her sisters' too. Mother Maybelle Carter gave so much to the world not least her wonderful children. They have left us now but those who have uploaded their work to youtube are keeping them alive in our hearts
I've found photographs don't lie... This was true love... Prescious Love. It's so evident Jhonny was absolutely enthralled by June, deepest deeply in Love with her. Nah, he could not have survived without her. June comes forth as such a Extraordinary Real, lovely person, fun, Loving caring , ...
Both Johnny and June both had very beautiful versions of this song... June's seems to have a little more emotion in her voice, but John's has that driven passion feel to it.. I feel like with this vs. Johnny's version is like Johnny's take on "Hurt." It feels like it's different and not the original, like he made "hurt" his own, i feel that with June singing this, not that she did better, but that it has a completely different feeling than John's... i love it!
They look so good together, so cute This is just beautiful, it's sensational Have always loved this guy How I love this song What do you admire most about Johnny cash?

I miss her and Johnny . Now they're singing together in Heaven AMEN !

No they reincarnated into new bodies. Probably still very much attracted to each other's soul
Two legends. I thank God they were in my lifetime.
Yes.
We were deeply graced to have been given them.
Thank you Father God for this couple who brought joy to many with their many talents.

It just makes so much more sense knowing June wrote this song.
The great country family singers of all time. I had my first 33 LP album of the 'Man in Black' in the 70's. My hat off for this great family.
Every time I hear this song it makes me cry, it’s so beautiful !

They are such a good and talented pair.
I really do love her rendition. It is more honest. It would be wonderful if we all found a love like that in our lives.
I would hope it sounds honest. She wrote it.
I did but she was called to Heaven.

The way he looked at her, wow! She sure was a beauty.
She certainly must have felt like a beauty, and very loved by her husband. She was very cute, tough and funny.
She was beautiful
She is beauty and great and lovely. But .......June is the big No Singer
@@anneluhring3081 ty jsi velká zpěvačka😂😂😂
She was always the stronger one.
Losing her first killed him.
Hope they're together again, somewhere.
Twin souls are eternal.
Very beautiful , the way that comes from Junes soul, it makes it more heart lovenig.
If THEY aren't together; somewhere then there isn't any hope for the REST of us! That was a real love story!
She was the one that needed to strong and hold everything together for the sake of him and their son

Give a listen to Anita Carter's (June's sister) version on UA-cam. Hers was the original version, and Johnny's was the cover version.
Tellement d amour, couple mythique
Beaucoup de respect et d"amour dans ce couple
Blessed be.

What do you admire most about Johnny cash?
I fell into a burning ring of fire thank you family....
Sehr schön.
Beautiful at it is
My 2 cents: I don't think the ring of fire is hell. I think it is passion. :) And maybe its even forbidden passion.
Just charges and moves!!
"I fell for you like a child....."
@Nimue011. I agree with you!
