if ever someone's voice was made for doing voice work it is Dan Daniels. I'd contact him immediately if I was a studio and needed voice work. Documentaries, animated villains, etc. audio books, anything. His voice was spectacular.
Yeah, it’s a “unique” voice. It’s deep and gravelly. It’s just not a good voice. At least as a solo artist. There’s no musicality in his voice. Maybe he could make it as the bass singer in a group, but even that is questionable to my ears.
This man is the oringinal "Jack of all Trades". He has a small ranch and some dairy cows. If something breaks he fixes it. He plays guitar and sings. I hope he gets a great opportunity to work his music. I hope he has true friends and I hope he has someone special to chase away the lonliness.😊

If the truth be known the real reason Guy did not turn ( and not the ones he stated ) was because he has made it quite clear in a previous interview that he pursues to have younger talent around him. It is fairly easy to judge the age of a contestant if you place yourself in the same/similar position as the coaches. Bring back the Voice senior.

I enjoyed Dan's song and I also really liked this set of judges. They seem really down-to-earth and sincere compared to some of the past prima donnas.
He's not trying to be Johnny, he's being Dan. When critiquing a singer it's best to listen for the heart in the song instead of technical ability.
