Funny thing to me is if there was anyone who had a reason to sue from the previous video it was YardSaleDale lol. As Jacob stated the fact he just randomly got put up as a villian made the video. Dale since he didn't have a chance to get his story out for that video could have sued for defamation ( though I would think that would be pushing it, especially for an internet video but I guess that would also go to show how influential Jacob has become). But he didn't and reached out like a professional to give his side of the story.
I will also add seller 69 states he has been selling for 20 years, but if he is getting nothing but pranksters ( by his standards) then I would assume that just means he is really bad at business if those are the main types of clientele he is pulling in.
But... his wife said he wasn't... 😂
I can send I'm Ideas on things to build and sell so then he can get a little more practice with his business

This is the problem with society in 2024. Ppl are so obsessed with social media, when someone doesn’t respond they think that they don’t care or something happened to them. That’s not the case, ppl have lives sometimes they wanna be with their friends or family plus, some of us can be at work or something happened in life 🤦♂️

Have to agree with Skrunkge. While people do expect a message to be returned within a specific time ( depending on the context). I don't think most people would go off the hinge and assume automatically it's a troll after only a few hours, especially around a holiday lol.
I said in another comment, but I could understand at least after a day or so and then trying to reach out about interest / payment lol.
I mean even on UA-cam comments people can understand if they get a reply from a conversation with a specific user some time later. People don't just assume " oh this person hasn't responded to my counter after 3 hours. That means I win and they didn't have anything to say". Or will call them crazy if they don't respond till the next day, because most people understand that others have different things going on in their life.
If that guy truly suffers from anxiety as much as he claims then maybe he needs to take a step away from the computer and go on a walk or something else to distract and take weight off his mind.

@@josephyepez877It was harassment. The buyer, by eBay policy, has up to 4 days to pay. If the seller doesn't agree to those terms, they can't sell on eBay. Continuously sending messages with no reply is harassment.

I was waiting on this update cause I knew it was coming. One of the most unhinged eBay sellers I've heard of. This is why I mostly don't do auctions and just buy straight away if I want it. This is a whole saga
I once had someone back out on a sale after like a day of not paying. and they never reposted it. Made me so angry.
Some people do that for fun, it's a crazy world.
I had one recently where after just less than 2 days a buyer canceled my purchases. I sent them a message explaining the situation, they re-listed the items at the price I was willing to pay (based on my auction bid), I snapped them up, paid straight away, all good.
The reality is, we have no idea what’s going on in this persons life. He’s apologising, which is the right thing to do. Everyone makes mistakes, hopefully whatever situation caused this behaviour is done and a line can just be drawn under it.
The closest that comment gets to being from his wife was it was typed with one of his hands.

it’s so sad people like this walk among us. instigate everything and then act like the victim. i’m a psyche nurse and this guy has to have some sort of disorder and seems detached. the complete mania followed by an apology a week later is pretty indicative of at least a minor issue
This is a wild interaction and i really hope that guys life turns around. The way it was handled is not great and i hope if things are really pushing him to that level that they calm down and he finds himself in a better place. Stress makes people act in weird ways but thats not an excuse and i hope he takes time to reflect and find the root of these actions because stress is not it.
It's also worth noting that there is something called the "clean hands" clause. Although it's used fairly rarely, (the only recent case I know of involves a woman who got sued by a developer that built a house illegally on her land- not the plot he was supposed to.) He sued her, but his hands weren't clean & she won (countersuit) against him. In this case, if you knowingly do something that is illegal, immoral, or unethical; with regards to your conduct, dealings or contract He could end up proving to the court that he was in the wrong, which could also open up the avenue for you to sue him, not including anything awarded during your initial countersuit defending his action.

Closest story I have that was crazy on eBay was I sold an expensive pair of Jordans to an international buyer in Canada that went through eBay authentication and the buyer claimed they fell apart after hiking in them (hiking in Jordan’s?). His pictures were clearly not the same pair as there were many differences of the damaged shoes versus what I sent, luckily since they were authenticated by eBay I did not have to refund the buyer. Had other occasions where buyers harvested parts from working items and returned them, those get me as it’s very difficult to prove at times, luckily those experiences are few in comparison to all the smooth eBay transactions, but they can ruin a day

Auctions now offer immediate pay, based on your highest bid it attaches a credit card or PayPal to it. Just had it happen with a piece of sports memorabilia I was bidding on.

That’s insane I’ve never messaged a seller about anything I’ve sent offers for or made a bid on unless I won the bid and usually only to let the seller know when I’d be paying.

A person who's been on ebay since 2000 should know about eBay's policies and the four corners of a purchase contract. Accusing you of nonpayment only five hours after the auction's end is crazy. Why wouldn't you stay logged into ebay and hit the refresh button every few seconds while staring at the screen? It's called having a life.
edit: Also, any real lawyer would know from the evidence that he was in the wrong, so he'd probably get laughed out of the mediation, if any. It's kinda like that guy that called the police to report that his marijuana was stolen in a humor book I read over 20 years ago.
I've had so many eBay sellers mad at me for failure to pay. Many of them werent as understanding. I placed a bid on an old PS3 with games and such, however, 5 hours later, i found one on Facebook marketplace that was $60 cheaper and i jumped on that. I couldn't remove the bid, which is something that needs to be added to ebay.
I failed to pay the ebay seller and i told him the truth that i found something on Facebook that was $60 cheaper (listing on ebay $160, Facebook $100).
The last one (buyer) i got angry, i bid $100 on a $75 Nintendo Switch. $100 went by for 5 days without a new bid and by the time, i couldnt pay. Why? My old phones os fried and i had to buy a new one and to avoid further confrontation that already was there, i deleted that ebay account and started up another ebay account with fresh stats and such
Internet drama with a potentially wholesome conclusion, that would be nice. Hope this guy works out his problems.

He really can't seem to grasp that some people have lives. When one of my auctions ends the earliest I check for payments is usually the next day.
In 2021 I bought a modded re-capoed Sega Saturn with TerraOnion MODE board, and a harddrive with every game ever for $400... A friggin awesome deal... Like a month after I received it, they wrote me, demanding it back because "They should have sold it for double that"... I refused to ever reply, but these messages continued for MONTHS... Crazy people out there...

I remember recieving a collectible off Ebay and it arrived damaged so i told the seller (i didn't ask for a refund or money off it, still left 5 stars and a good review i just told him to package better for his future customers) an he replyed back with lots of insults an telling me he knows my address and is coming to burn my house down, i messaged Ebay and they said they don't police the private messages and not to bother them again with it 😵💫

I just bought some legos from ebay and had a great experience. Such a good deal for holiday sets from a few years ago. I have had sellers who send the wrong game disc. Mostly all good sellers.
This definitely looks like mental health issues. I feel like this guy would have been harassing about instant payment even without the incident with yardsaledale1. That just fed into paranoia and sent him off the deep end with a whole made up conspiracy to rant about.
I don't fault yardsaledale1 for calling this guy out over the unhinged rant, because that did appear to be a inappropriately aggressive and rude attempt to get a lower price. But the people that decided to respond back to this nut should have just taken the warning and left it alone.
This is just the stories from two people dealing with this bozo, imagine how many other people have received unhinged messages like this! The dude seriously needs help.
