@@domovoi2861 i'm using windows 10 still, so cant tell anything about 11. On windows 10 I set compatability with windows xp update pack 2. Game works ok, but there's minor lag whenever I defeat enemies when K.O. sign shows up or enemy explodes, you can notice this in my recent runs. And a bit longer loading time moving from one map to another. It results in a bit time loss, which is sad. Emulators have lower frame rate and longer loading times, so not ideal. I have old PC which one I'm not using anymore, I may downgrade it to Windows 7 for a sake of speedrunning this game, but I don't know if it's worth it. No patches to make game work better on newer OS, at least I don't know any
Including the non turtles, how would rank all the characters? I always figured slashuur was the best due to his giant attack range. Never got to play much on Kurai/casey cuz my brother got the red+orange characters and I got the blue+purple characters.
Excuse me for super late reply. That's how I would rank every character in this game. 1) Slashuur Hits like a truck, wide range to his attacks, great jumping attack and having best special makes him the best character in this game, only rivaled by second place, and that is... 2) Raphael He's jack of all trades: good damage, fast attacks, okay reach and alongside Slashuur shares the best special in the game. His jumping attack is good at splitting groups. The only reason why he's second is because Slashuur has twice as bigger damage and widest reach. 3) Leonardo He has fast landing with his jumping attack , allowing for faster traversal. That is exact reason why I chose him for NG+ run over Slashuur, for a bit faster mobility. Has second best reach to his attacks next to Slashuur, quite fast attacks and decent special. He could share, or even surpass Raphael as second best character if not for his dash. His dash knocks out enemies and breaks everything on his path that can be broken, which is a double edged sword. While it's good for splitting the groups and making emergency getaway, it easy to accidentally hit barrels and get blown up, frozen etc. . Also because he knocks down enemies with dash, it's impossible to stunlock enemies and overwhelm them with dash cancel, which makes fighting some bosses longer. Despite that, decent character. 4) Casey Casey, just like Raphael, is essentially a jack of all trades: good attack speed, okay reach, decent special. His air attack juggles enemy, which might be helpful. He's not in top 3 because he has worse special than other 3 characters and he doesn't really excell them anywhere. Solid character nonetheless. 5) Karai. Extremely fast attacks, okay special. Her jumping attack is unremarkable. Has the worst reach out of all, but compensates this by sheer speed. 6) Donatello Donny has decent reach, shurikens replaced by lasers, which has their uses. Quite damaging jumping attack. And out of every character, he's one of the two characters ,alongside Slashuur, who can break Elite Guards' block on higher difficulties with regular attacks. But also he has the worst special in the game, which holds him back from being anywhere higher, but if he did had good special, he would be in top 4 for sure. 7)Splinter Splinter got nerfed in this game. Okay speed attacks, alongside Donny has worst special. 8) Michelangelo Compared to how he was in TMNT 1, he got nerfed in this game dramatically: slowest attacks in the game, decentish special. He has hovering jump attack, which is quite useless in combat, but helps getting to places where no other character could
What's the difference between Easy and Hard, besides higher Team Performance score? Bosses have the same amount of health, I have compared the lifebar of Hun. The enemies seem to have a little more health.
Elite Guards use block way frequently on hard difficulty. Also Karai is way more agile and deals more damage with her dash. You're correct about enemies having more health in general. And I think Slashur is more tanky on second encounter. Not sure about this one, but ninjas become more aggressive on higher difficulties too

@Veekron Guess, you're right. There's no damage boost unless all 30 red crystals are collected. So that's why you didn't go for crystals that much in your "all levels" speedrun

Thanks for watching whole run! Some of my decisions can be questionable at first, I'll try to clear them up. 1) I didn't drop Feudal Shredder to the edge because I needed to get at least S ranking for this specific level in order to unlock battle nexus costume for Michelangelo, so dropping him wasn't the option. 2) Stunlock is possible with any character except for Leonardo, but Donatello is easier for this, because his first attack connects a bit quicker compared to Mikey or Raphael. 3) On hard difficulty elite guards block very often, and out of all turtles Donatello can easily break through their block. My strategy was to carry a barrel and let them hit me, that way they get damage from falling barrel, which followed by explosion. But due to change of rules, it's allowed to change difficulties mid-run, so this strat becomes redundant for 100% runs. Any future runs will be done on emulator, because with recent updates to Windows PC version became pretty much unplayable to me, and I'm not eager to downgrade OS or put Linux just because of one game. Again, thanks for sticking through whole run, I appreciate it

Okay, "W" is gonna be weak attack button, "S" is strong attack button. "+" between letters means that both buttons gotta be pressed together. Combo that can be performed from very beginning of the game: W - W - S Other combos will be unlocked when you collect crystals that you'll find through the course of the game. 10 red crystals: W - W - W+S 20 red cryatals: W - W - S - S 20 green crystals: W - W - S - W+S (this comb will stun common enemies for a short time) 30 white crystals: W - W - S - S - S 30 orange crystals: W - W - S - S - W+S (this is combo with powerful magic attack at the end and has same power as fully charged attack when you hold S. Most likely it's the last combo that'll be unlocked) If there's something else that needs to be cleared - be my guest to ask
@@Veekron is it necessary to collect all the crystals to unlock these combos? I just have hard time collecting all the coins in hoverboard,etc missions,they are so annoying. BTW, I played on autosave(PS2) and after returning to the game it says that data(save) is invalid,do you know how to fix it?
@@antonfedotov376 only 2 combos require to collect all orange and white crystals, for other 3 unlockable combos 20 green and 20 red crystals. There are 30 crystals for each type About invalid save files, back in the day I had the same problem. Try use another memory slot or card. Also it is worth to try save manually, see if that helps. Other than that, no bright ideas

Я как только не комбинировал. Получал SS за атаку-защиту-аэриал за каждого из персонажей, пробегал за 40 секунд, убивал всех врагов (с учётом выгружаемых из памяти по скрипту, когда отходишь далеко), проходил не получив урона, во всех случаях игра выдаёт оценку S. На Ютубе даже нашёл видос от человека, у которого вся игра пройдена на SS, кроме этого единственного эпизода и он также не знает, в чём кроется секрет.
@@oldgamestricks Я лично прошёл ВСЮ игру на SS :) Я тебе говорю, по какой-то странной причине именно на этом уровне надо пройти за Кейси. Надо получить SS на всех категориях, быть здоровеньким (Думаю ~75% хп или больше к концу уровня) и не слишком задерживаться. Arial за него сложнее всего получить, так что много сюрикенов с воздуха кидай.

Я не смог получить здесь SS 10 лет назад, не могу и теперь)) Посмотри на один из траев - оценка персонажа SS, пройдено за 45 секунд, 100% айтемов, 99% хп и получено 6 единиц урона. ua-cam.com/video/tIsrpEip-sQ/v-deo.html Идеальнее будет, если только не получать урона вообще, но учитывая что нужно отбивать атаки + неудобная камера и враги стреляют в спину, это невероятно сложно, да и вообще вряд ли дело в этом. За Кейси тоже пробовал, даже если набиваешь по всем трём пунктам SS и остаёшься со 100% здоровья, то дают S. Либо этот уровень сломан, либо имеется какое-то скрытое условие. @@oldgamestricks Попробуй не проходить на скорость, а убивать всех врагов. Время тут совсем не такое душное как ты думаешь. Я вроде как этот уровень прошёл за минуты 4 и получил SS без проблем. Причём я имею ввиду убивать ВСЕХ. Даже тех кто на вышках. Всё за Кейси. Ещё другая альтернатива/дополнительное условие - попробуй получить высокую оценку ещё и за другого персонажа. Сначала получи высокую за Кейси (Это где-то ~2 фулл комбо, около 3 идеальных контр-блоков/20 обычных блоков и около 18 сюрикенов с воздуха) и потом смени персонажа и пойди набивать оценку на Донателло или Слэшуре пока не закончатся враги (Заверши всё равно за Кейси на всякий случай)

Two players from any place in the world should connect with internet connection to a Computer that includes these games. But Actually, even if that's impossible, We can do many things right now! Example: completing all levels of TMNT2: Battle Nexus, with all characters, separately. For any player, we can have a time-base record and also a hitpoint record for all characters. (As you know, you can see how much damage you got from enemies attack by a hitpoint number which is shown on the colored rectangle. Shurikens are near hitpoint.) * Sorry for possible grammar mistakes. Ex: I really don't know I used hitpoint in a correct place or not.

За Кейси тоже пробовал, даже если набиваешь по всем трём пунктам SS и остаёшься со 100% здоровья, то дают S. Либо этот уровень сломан, либо имеется какое-то скрытое условие.

@@oldgamestricks Попробуй не проходить на скорость, а убивать всех врагов. Время тут совсем не такое душное как ты думаешь. Я вроде как этот уровень прошёл за минуты 4 и получил SS без проблем.
Причём я имею ввиду убивать ВСЕХ.
Даже тех кто на вышках. Всё за Кейси.
Ещё другая альтернатива/дополнительное условие - попробуй получить высокую оценку ещё и за другого персонажа. Сначала получи высокую за Кейси (Это где-то ~2 фулл комбо, около 3 идеальных контр-блоков/20 обычных блоков и около 18 сюрикенов с воздуха) и потом смени персонажа и пойди набивать оценку на Донателло или Слэшуре пока не закончатся враги (Заверши всё равно за Кейси на всякий случай)

В каждом гоночном уровне есть 3 вещи, которые нужны для 100%: кристалл, антиквариат и бонусные материалы. Только одну вещь можно разблокировать за раз, поэтому я перепроходил эти уровни 3 раза

I should warn you, PC version works like ass on new OS, game became pretty much unplayable for me. Any other runs I will be doing on emulator. So if game will be unplayable for you, I suggest switching to emulator too.

That's a great idea, but Konami not really make games now. "TMNT 3 Mutant Nightmare" is last TMNT game made by Konami. I imagine online co-op would be so fun!

@@Veekron Yeah, that's great. But I think it's possible to play games like tmnt mutant melee or tmnt 2003 pvp online. Two players from any place in the world should connect with internet connection to a Computer that includes these games.
But Actually, even if that's impossible, We can do many things right now!
Example: completing all levels of TMNT2: Battle Nexus, with all characters, separately.
For any player, we can have a time-base record and also a hitpoint record for all characters. (As you know, you can see how much damage you got from enemies attack by a hitpoint number which is shown on the colored rectangle. Shurikens are near hitpoint.)
