i remember when she first performed this piece at 7 years old... now, her tone is so much deeper and she pours her heart into every single note she plays
Even at 7 years old her rendition showed that she was on to something special and she only needed a few more years to master it. In another 3 years I think she will make Fritz proud (if he were alive that is)

This is the most epic rendition I've ever heard of this piece, and I've heard a LOT.

I love her bow distribution and her dynamic timing. She doesn't race through it. Very mature rendering of this masterpiece.

Don’t worry! Bow hairs snapping is a very normal occurrence and happens pretty often, it just means you’re putting a lot of soul into your playing!
Amazing musician! She nailed everything. She made this Kreisler piece her own and plays with such confidence.
Intonation, articulation, bow control, dynamics, and musicality are impeccable.
Her performance is not only energetic but energising for the listener. As a violinist I learned a lot from her performance.

sohyun makes me doubt my musicality since there's no way a 16 year old could play better than the others on youtube... but she does. the pace is slower but so convincing, the opening is just heartbreaking, 5:00 onward is explosive. thanks for the video
yes, i will agree with that the opening was just a bit rushing, kind of unstable feeling which made me think what is going on.... a first tee nerve as Tiger Woods told in many occasions.
