I don't know why and how but Sohyun's high notes are always so smooth... I've never felt any of them bothering or fierce and it's like the very reason I love to listen to Sohyun.
@@radjedi2010 well they are immensely gifted and will surely become great violinists in the future, but right now you can tell that they aren't adults when they play ... they lack a certain sense of - maturity? - in their phrasing. Admittedly i don't really "keep up" with the violin prodigy world so i don't really know where they are now, but i can say that from what i've seen, no one has impressed me as much as sohyun, even if she's not technically perfect as chloe chua.
@@juneyoo no you got a point. There's an obvious maturity in Sohyun's playing and she knows how to keep you hanging on to every note. Plus she's got natural easy charisma, like the way she plays keeps your eyes on her and not in a way where it distracts you or takes away from the music. I really love her style.
SoHuyns playing is exquisite, it goes without saying, but can we also have a shout out for her brilliant accompanist Miki Aoki, It’s not easy being a whole orchestra on one instrument and she manages it so well, not overshadowing SoHyun.
I am a fan of both girls and follow them to see how they change and develop, they both have a new fresh approach to well known music pieces and I for one enjoy that fact.
Oh! how stunning, splendid and graceful Tschaikovsky it is! speechless, I don't know how do I say about her beautiful sensibility, anyway that's at the Zenith. especially her bowing articulation is so energetic, clear and stunning. also I would feel God has gifted so nice both arms and fingers to her. I would have to say "Have a nice concert in future"(soon be 91yrs.Japanese) sorry strange English.

I first ran across Ms. Ko videos when she was a pre-teen and was quite impressed. She has gotten even better. AND she has become quite an attractive young woman as well.
I think young girls LOVE SoHyun as she's a star performing all these hard violin pieces with all sorts of viewers watching her like she's an expert... even though she's 'a 15 year old girl' so the other girls support her like ♥️♥️♥️♥️ | violin is much more difficult than piano, violin requires 50x more practice than piano... so these violin players are actually super-super-extremely dedicated.. a talented piano person can learn a piece in a short time with no practice, it's not special.. violin requires at least 3 years of playing the thing to actually be able to play a piece properly... and NOT this piece was was 'impossible' for most of the violin players at the time it was written. If you're an " achievement person " i.e. ' look at my skill ' then you can forget violin.. | And anyway SoHyun's skill is amazing ! Even if people think violin is less cool than for example modern electronic music.. hm well... there is not really a 'violin music' it's an instrument which can play anything... like a human voicebox...
Violin is only more difficult than piano at below advanced levels, but yes, the steep learning curve of violin makes people quit early oftentimes - they hence forfeit their chance to arrive at the level of mastery that is less frustrating. Though a violinist will have to wait long before they can afford wow people; once they can it is no short of magic, like the way SoHuyn Ko does here
주커만이 유럽, 서양인의 우월성을 맹신하는 경향이 있다고 들었는데... 피아노 반주자도 동양계인 것을 보니 "정신지배"와는 상관없는 순수한 영혼이라 느껴지네요. 제가 한국인이고 음악적인 경험이 별로 없긴 하지만 제가 들은 차이코프스키 협주곡 연주 중 최고였습니다. 피아노 반주일 때 가지는 특별한 연주의 자유로움같은게 있는가... 하는 생각도 해보지만, 어쨌든 들으면서 오케스트라 협연같은 큰 기운을 느꼈습니다.
정련되고, 그 이상을 넘어선 단계를 넘어 선 무사처럼 느껴진다. 모든 기교가 있으되, 그 기교에 현혹되지 않으면서 모든 악장을 넘나 든다. 어쩌면 자칫 경직 되어 보이는 그 녀의 소극적 추임새도 그러한 이유 때문이 아닐까? 너무나 잘 정돈되어 있는데 불현듯 저리 비상하는 건 뭔가? 이리 사랑스러운 존재가 이 땅에 다시 나타났다. 꼬마적 프로필은 다시 들여다 보며 감탄을 금치 못했다. 음악적 소양이 미천한 나임에도 느껴지는, 저리 힘이 넘치며, 유할 땐 유하고 내려 칠 땐 부러뜨릴 듯 활을 가지고 노닌다. 명불허전이다. 작은 나이라는 게 실감나지 않는다.

I love how SoHyun smiles when she knows she's nailed whatever piece she's finished playing. She really is an amazing violinist and a joy to listen to.
