my favorite track. just remember that is the most dangerous enemies in game is the other players. they not need to be traitors to accidentaly sink whole submarine
Totally didn't fuck with an abandoned station's reactor, causing it to burst into flames and trapping one of my crewmates on the other side, leading to O2 loss.
Reminds me of the time I was playing with 2 other friends. I was in the sub (I’m medic) and the security guard and engineer were outside the ship on a mining mission. 3 seconds after leaving the sub, they were at the mouth of the cave, heard a sound and in the local chat, decided it was to scary, and to swim back to the sub. Not knowing I was dealing with a huge mud raptor swarm back on the ship. (I hadn’t radioed saying something was attacking bc 1.) I thought they could hear the guns and assume what was going on, and 2.) they were in the cave, and the mud raptors were only a problem for the ship. Anyways, the ship begins to flood as mud raptors flush in, and the engineer and security officer are frantically trying to swim to the air lock. They are swimming around the bottom, when the ship starts to sink. And FAST. So they start screaming. By this point I can hear them. So I start freaking out. Until all I hear is a *meaty crunch* and an insane sounding laugh and someone (very muffled) yelling “you crushed him!!!” So yeah…
That reminded me that me and my friends decided to be very chaotic so I stole the security guards keycard put on a clown costume and took every gun piece of ammo and grenade I could find
@@user-ee9gr4yb6j I think we somehow made it through deathless. We had picked up the cargo and it was really just a matter of keeping the ship in a moving state. One player joined mid-game and saved us by distracting the enemies with a shuttle. I do remember that, while he bought us valuable time, he got ripped to shreds.
I still remember the first time that soundtrack played for me. My friends and me were on the way to salvage a wreck and were in good spirit. After all a wreck usually means lots of free stuff! Oh how wrong we were. This was the first time we would encounter a Thalamus. I was already getting a bit of an odd feeling when that soundtrack started to play. Only to hear one of our gunners yell: "What the f*** is that?!" and right when the soundtrack hits 0:40 those flesh-hook harpoons pierce through our little Dugong from bottom to top and drag us down! Wonderful, yet terrifying timing. Due to my friends and I not playing too often, and our idiocy and lack of exploring every outpost, I've kinda kinda never encountered a thalamus so far. But from what I heard from a couple of my friends, it's a terrifying, hectique experience.
I remember my crew's first Thalamus wreck encounter, which by complete luck we were behind it. I maneuvered the ship behind and me (the Captain), along with our combat engineer and security guard, went out of the ship to go investigate and ultimately destroy the Thalamus. I knew a bit about the Thalamus, however once we got inside of the ship. *It started Singing*

the sound of running around as captain as 4 hammerheads and 3 mudraptors push you towards the abyss as you attempt to see which turret can actually get a shot at the swarm.
I heard this track for the first time for 345 hours in game in a campain when my crewmates encountared The Great Sea the first time on maximum difficulty. The sailing was strangely smooth, we were just mining everything we found there and fought only to 6 Hammerheads. No giant swarms of husked crawlers, threshers and even mudraptors (a few missions ago we fought to them all almost at the same time) But the soundtrack made it very alarming.
When in possession of nuclear payloads, make sure your crew is wearing their Personal Universal Crisis Suit. That way, if an idiot fires off your nuclear missile, you have a decent chance of surviving both the initial blast, and the radiation following it. For an even greater chance, make sure all of your suits have emergency morphine, which can trigger once you fall below 50%, and begin to rapidly heal wounds. This can easily get you back in the flow if you're suddenly knocked unconscious by a blast; assuming you don't have your face shoved against the culprit.
Помню момент в котором впервые заиграла эта тема. Мы плыли с другом на Дюгоне, пока на сонаре не увидели затопленную подлодку. Это была кастрюля. Мы следили за ней через оружия, а она будто изучала нас...
When i first heard this in game i got so scared. I always listen to music to understand when monsters spawn. When this played i thought that something absolutely terrible is going to happen i need to gtfo asap
haha i had the same thing happen to me, it played for a while without me ever finding the threat, but it was still during a very high stakes part of the campaign when the jovian radiation was closing in.
Heard this in a battle with a jovian sub during an all coalition campaign. It was fitting as both our subs fell towards the abyss in the midst of battle and got "interrupted" by a endworm
You are a submarine security officer. You are the captains right hand - Killing all that's in your, or his way. Suddenly the captain yells. You drop over to a window to that part of the sub; There's a hole in the ship. You can see the captain getting dragged away into the depths by mudraptors - before he detonates due to pressure. The mechanic rushes into the room diving suit on. It didn't protect him and he's dragged away into the depths as well. You hear the other security officer yelling to load ammunition to the chaingun. You watch as he guns down the mudraptors and the mechanic. Finally, shook out of your trance of shock you decide to actually help, putting on a diving suit just as the ship hits the ground. Somethings wrong - Its not rock nor ice, its metal. You turn just as a massive spike pierces the hull and nearly shreds the medic. Suddenly it injects tiny amoeba like creatures that start ripping apart the medic. Then you get on the periscope. Your coilgun locks onto a fleshy appendage when the railgun on the wreck starts turning. It fires and it all turns black for you. You flash back to real life and begin beating the shit out of the clown.
When you have a small crew of 2 men down in the depths, anything is a challenge. It was a normal day. Thought it would be routine. A quick trip to make some cash. A few enemies on radar, should be easy to take out-they were. Unfortunately, with only a captain and a mechanic, flooding was guaranteed. Had to do everything everywhere everytime. Manning the guns, fixing the hull, you can't always watch where the ship is going. That's when I noticed. We were going down. Not stopping. The panicked shouts as I watched the walls fall away. The large blob on radar. After that, it was all a blur. Fire. Hot. Monster. Deep. I don't remember what happened after I died. I found myself back in the station we just left. Another day, another attempt. Again. Again. Down, down, down, is all we went. We gave up on the cash. We only wanted to get out of this nightmare. We made it. A sigh of relief. Hours of pain. So close. So far. Once you're trapped under that icy surface, there's no coming back. It'll be like this day in day out. Nightmare after nightmare. New monsters, new land, old pain. You don't want to be an Europan Captain, son.
I am doing a solo run right now, drifter. The creeper sub doesnt sink but...a still target can easily get boarded. Also "Keep you down" is an amazing mod!
