Someone pitched this at the GameXplain eShop death stream, and I'm all for it. Seeing it on the opening Wednesday after work, too, so it's primo timing.
StreetPass was *the* reason why I brought my 3DS with me *everywhere* back in the day, the system was practically fused to my hip because of that. I ended up encouraging folks at my school to bring their 3DSs with them whenever they could, and so i ended up with loads of streetpasses on a regular basis for *years*. It was/is my favorite feature of the system, and it still perplexes me to this day as to why an equivalent has never been on switch
Probably because the Switch is triple the size of the original 3DS. People just ain't carrying it around like they do a DS. Not to mention everyone has a smartphone nowadays unlike back when the 3DS was first released.
My fondest SteetPass memory was getting hits from two people in my rural town. Strangers to me, I didn’t know ‘em, but they were StreetPass buddies. For months, I’d get flashes of green on my 3DS and see them at my gate. Over a year later, my family went to Disneyland (far away from me), and I got a StreetPass alert. I looked, and at the gate… those two StreetPass buddies from home! At first I figured I got their Miis from before the trip and forgot to go to the Plaza. But, no! The next time I got their passes in Disneyland, hours later, they wrote the message: “R U IN DISNEYLAND?!” When I finally did meet them in person, we shook hands and smiled. We even thanked each other for all the StreetPass memories.

It'd still be the least-effort way for them to implement "streetpass that doesn't require carrying the actual console around everywhere", though. Maybe a pocket-size hardware module akin to the Pokewalker, instead?
I live in a small rural town of a mostly rural state and I used to take my 3DS when I’d go shopping in the city. I always enjoyed seeing the small handful of street passes I’d get.
Well said, Mr Zion. I will never forget streetpass. My greatest memory was going to France and getting at least 10 street passes in the airport alone! It was so much fun to play Find Mii, or finally complete a puzzle on puzzle swap, or race people on slot car rivals, or get visited by a developer from Nintendo to promote a game. Ah, the memories. Let’s keep this memory alive at least a little while longer!
I was one of the people who showed up to the StreetPass meetup at PAX East this year (you can definitely see me accidentally looking directly at the camera lol) and this was one of the most memorable events of the whole convention. Not because it was the most elaborate or the most exciting, but because it felt like home. The room was full of people who just love using their 3DS with all of its quirks, even in the year 2023. I tend to get nostalgic over a lot of things, but StreetPass is one of those features I never forgot about, even after I got my Switch. For the longest time, I thought I would never get a true StreetPass again until this event, and I'm so grateful that Zion was able to put this event together. I got to talk to him during this meetup and he was just so happy to see everyone enjoying their 3DS's like it was the early 2010's again. I sincerely thank you, Zion for singlehandedly reviving StreetPass to this degree, even if it was just for the weekend.
I remember back in my adolescente high school years, I would always bring my 3DS alongside just for Streetpass! I wasn't good at socializing, but I've made lot's of new friends because of it! I'd put so much effor of collecting those puzzles as well! People even knew who I was because of my Mii character. It was great!

Last summer, my family and I took a trip out of state. It was a 10+ hour ride (that I somehow went the entire way without personally having to drive), so I decided to revisit my 3DS. I played it for most of the way, and about halfway up there, I got a streetpass. I was stoked, as I had no idea that streetpass was still somewhat active. It reminded me of all the times I would go camping, streetpass people on the drive, and run through Find Mii with them (and my buddy I went camping with, who was always max level). After that, I had my 3DS active and on me for the rest of the drive. And while we stayed for about a week, I took it with me just about everywhere we went - in the car, restaurants, stores... everywhere. Even on the whole 10+ hour drive back, I had my 3DS in sleep mode, just hoping that I would streetpass more people. Nothing. That person I streetpassed on the way up is still the most recent streetpass I have (shoutout to Jase, if you're out there). I stopped bringing my 3DS with me after that. It's a shame the popularity of it fell off so hard, as seeing how many people I could streetpass was always a focal point of any trips I went on. After the eshop closed, though, I've wondered if anybody is trying to streetpass on my campus, so I think I'm going to give it another shot.
Bit of an update for anyone who cares: The very next day after I posted this, I brought my 3DS with me to campus - and got a streetpass! It was really lucky, as my university happened to have a craft fair going on with a decent anime/gaming presence (which I didn't know about beforehand), so I'm pleasantly surprised. Don't give up, y'all!
After watching your video on bringing Streetpass back this year, I started bringing my 3DS to major events. The first event I went to in January was a flop, I didn’t get any Streetpasses. But last weekend, I went to a big comic/general nerd convention in my town for one day and I got 4 streetpasses. I was floored. This coming weekend, my partner and I are going to a retro gaming con and I am excited to see what will happen there.
To all of those who want an update: We came back late last night/early this morning and, wow, were there a lot of Streetpasses. From what I could count, I got 38 tags, a handful of repeats and not including my partner, who also brought his 3DS after I talked about bringing it. Throughout the weekend, I would check my Streetpasses when I had downtime and it honestly reminded me of going to big anime cons in the mid 2010s. While checking, the green light would flash and I would get a few more! I probably could have gotten more had we started our trip at our original schedule (we were delayed to starting the trip on Saturday at 5 AM instead of driving after work on Friday) and if I checked more often, but I am still impressed with the turn out! At one point, my partner and I pulled out our 3DSes while waiting for a panel. Someone saw us and said “good idea, I’m gonna join you!” and pulled out their 3DS to check their Streetpasses. It made a great con even more fun, honestly! I was also able to complete a handful of panels, haha
God damn this is some of the best content I've seen on Nintendo Life in a while (I love the usual stuff, but this was such a breath of fresh air). That opening story got me choked up, but the video as a whole made me reflect more on how I've been feeling about gaming and Nintendo as a company. There's something about the older systems that felt so playful and fun and connected. Nintendo was able to take their couch co-op focus and broaden it with things like StreetPass. It felt so fun to play their systems and I think the Switch has kind of taken that joy from me. Booting up to a sterile UI with no atmosphere or sound, the only indicator of life on the platform is a small green number in the upper left hand corner, and the exclusive games are lacking the content and quality standards that were once expected. That being said, the Switch is selling and there's no real reason for Nintendo to change what they are doing. I just don't think I'll remember it or miss it much whenever the next big thing comes out. I don't think there's anything identifying about the experience on the platform to miss. Long live StreetPass.
I'll never forget the rivalry that developed between me and a few other random people at my college in Mario 3D Land. We'd constantly be topping each others' best times on levels and it really extended my enjoyment of that game way past just getting 100%!
that streetpass meet up looks awesome, i’ll definitely never get to go to one but i think bringing everyone together in a room that share such a niche interest is super cool and they all seemed to be having a really great time
Man, as much as I love the Switch and all that, Nintendo seems to have all but forgotten about the little joys of actually meeting other players. The real magic of a system you can take with you, anywhere! I wish we'd get that back. The social part.

Lol yes. It's been dead 😢. I liked SP. I would get a lot at the airport, theme parks, and the occasional con. The coolest one was when I used to walk around my work area cause I'd get one from the same person so I started to have a convo with them via street pass. The SP enhancements were nice but added too late....games were fun too...the later addition games had some charm. The only ones I actually finished were flower Town and the haunted Mansion one.
PAX East was my first time getting streetpasses on my 3DS and honestly it was really cool. It's crazy that Nintendo didn't even consider it for the Switch. I'm glad for people like yourself and other creators who pushed for all of us to bring our 3DS/2DS devices places. I was also really happy to get to meet you and Austin at PAX. It sucks that I was only there the one day so I had to miss the event. If you do one at PAX East next year I will definitely be there. Also. What a powerful mood and tone you set in this video. It was so well done!
I got a 3DS mid-late into the life cycle. I went to a technical nerd school where we all had a passion for games and other nerd culture stuff, so I got quite a few. Seeing the diminishing number saddens me, but it's not unexpected, the system ran its life cycle. It does bring me joy to the see a massive influx of video describing how much fun and fond memories people had with the system
Streetpass is one of those things that I wish I knew about sooner to this. My first major experience with the 3ds was playing a copy of Starfox 64 3d. Then I poured at least 100 hours into tomodachi life. Recently, before the 3shop closure. I increased me and my fathers 3ds collection by 15 games. I was actually out of paper money after march 27. And I knew what Streetpass was, but I never gave it much of a thought. Until this one video. This function looks amazing. It truly does. And like a regret not buying more fire emblem dlc, I regret not buying that sweet sweet V.I.P street pass function, with the games and the extra people. The switch was fine, but if the stars aliened, and the perfect outcome happened, the switch would be my second used console, runner up to the 3ds. I live in the south, were the likelihood of getting a streetpass is about the same as having dinner with the president. Still, this service looks amazing, and would be great if it was on the switch (or if I lived up north) I am not the person to say this, but never forget Streetpass.
you can always mod your 3ds and get it from hshop if you wanted to, just putting that out there XD super easy to do, dont really have any other choice since they shut down the eshop.
I went to Japan in 2019, and I knew streetpass was basically dead by that point. I wanted to send my streetpass plaza out with a bang, so I took it everywhere with me those 2 weeks I was in Japan. I got a full plaza on multiple days after that, especially the days I went to Akihabara. I knew it was probably the last time I would get many of them, so I went out with a bang. Then my plaza was dead for the longest time, only one here or there. I decided to bring my 3DS to Anthrocon in 2022, and I got a full plaza of people after a single day at the event. It made me happy to see a full line once again. Streetpass may be less and less common these days, but I'm happy it still works once in a while.
God, I would love to have StreetPass back I used to carry my 3DS everywhere, I loved just loitering around the local mall and stopping to clear my line or seeing what classmates I got
the only problem is that the 3ds has to be in sleep mode so someone around you may actually have a 3ds on them but if they are actively playing a game or if the system is just turned off and not in sleep mode for battery preservation, you will not get as streetpass
I remember carrying my 3DS around when I was taking public transportation just for getting StreetPasses. Since I used to go to a college I would instantly get 10 everytime I went through. This was around 2016. I stopped carrying it me once the switch came out :/

I met my husband through StreetPass back in 2012. We apparently got close enough to StreetPass at SF Pride that year, and I had my Facebook profile in my greeting. He saw it while clearing out his line and saved my profile for later. When he got home, he looked me up and sent me a message. We didn't have any friends in common so unfortunately it went to the alternate inbox, where I didn't see it for a whole month! When I did spot it, I replied, and we finally got to talking. A very unlikely sequence of events and a whole lot of luck eventually led to us getting engaged and then married... but I'll save those details for the documentary.

Just spent the day out and about around London, the usual tourist spots, and... I got one!!!! I actually got 1 hit on SP. So happy and now I've decided that I'll be taking my 3DS with me everywhere I go this year.
My 3DS is in a storage unit 500 miles away. I wish I had it easily accessible so I can get my street pass filled up somewhere again. Airports were the best for streetpasses.... But seriously, not bringing a streetpass-like element to the switch was SUCH a fail. I feel like it should be able to incorporate it, but no. And I wish I knew about that VIP Badge before the shop closed. I should've looked it up beforehand. Sad face.
Beautiful story and video! I remember carrying my 3DS everywhere with me, the store, malls, doctor's, vacations, Disney World, my college years, etc. This video reminded me of all the good times I've had with it. Streetpass, getting visitors in my plaza, playing plaza games such as Flower Town & Find Mii I & II. I even got visitors when playing Tomodachi Life on my 3DS (Wouldn't it be awesome if it gets ported to Switch, just like Miitopia?!). I'm going to start bringing my 3DS everywhere again and see what happens!
In late December 2022, I went to Japan and brought my 3DS everywhere with me. I was shocked to find that Streetpass in Japan is very much alive compared to the US. Something about seeing that green light on and knowing you've crossed paths with a real person who also brought their 3DS, gives me all the feels lol. Long live Streetpass! 😊
I remember that i got many streepass in college when reuniting with my friends playing smash 3DS. Even if I haven’t found a single streetpass during 2023, that won’t stop me from getting at least one, so I will take my New 3DS to the Super Mario movie screening on my country. Also this video has a deep meaning and I love the editing Zion made to make it feel like a documentary.

I'm in that small group where I didn't forget about my 3DS/2DS XL while everyone was all about the Switch. It's still pocket-sized and can bring it to work to play on break. Not even Switch Lite was small enough to accomplish that feat. As it stands, my last eShop purchases were Harmo Knight on 3DS and DKC Returns on Wii U.
I got my first streetpass in four years yesterday at Walmart. You have no idea how elated I was when I saw that flashing green light. I bought a 3DS XL recently so my Plaza is empty, but now I have one friend there, I want to fill it up again and hopefully I will.
I live in the middle of nowhere and don't think I ever got a street pass while I was playing before just a few weeks ago. I was in my car playing and an SUV passed and had to stop at a light before it could go again. As they pulled up alongside my vehicle my 3DS started to do the pulse it apparently does when you get a street pass. I was actually confused at what was happening until I realized that some kid in the back of his mom's car must have also been playing his 3DS as they passed me. I thought it was pretty cool that happened, kind of made my day that I got my first live street pass in 2023, I hope it made his day too.
This and the fact that I played a lot of Splatfest this weekend got me thinking. Nintendo could have events in a virtual city like the one in Splatoon 3 where everyone could meet, play games exclusive to that event, etc. The 3DS and Wii U had great social features that Nintendo did not bring to the Switch even though most commercials for the system show the many ways people can play together. I remember seeing the original Wii commercial where Nintendo shows up at the door, presenting the Wiimote while saying that unforgettable phrase "Wii would like to play." Nintendo just seems to forgot that.
Zion! I loved this video, and your advocacy for StreetPass in general. I didn't get my 3DS until way after the StreetPass craze was over. I had a Wii and DS, but for some reason, there were a few years there where I sort of stopped playing video games as much as I used to. I think I was out and about at gigs and stuff a lot more, as I'd just moved to a big city, so all my money was going on that, and I probably couldn't afford to get the new systems. Despite always wanting a 3DS and a Wii U, I never got either of them, so really I missed out on that era. Then the pandemic happened and I got a Switch to keep myself occupied during lockdown, and after a few years of getting fully obsessed with Animal Crossing, Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, A Short Hike, etc, I was fully back into the world of games, and I felt like I wanted to go back and play a lot of the games that I'd missed out on, like New Leaf, and the Phoenix Wright games that were only on 3DS. So, I found a 3DS (it was a Link Between Worlds edition, super nice) and a bunch of games on eBay, downloaded Phoenix Wright, and all the Pushmo/Pullblox games, and was having so much fun, but I really felt sad that I'd probably never get a StreetPass. And so far, I still haven't, apart from one, which I staged ahead of time. I really wanted to download the StreetPass Mii Plaza DLC before the eShop closed, and StreetPass Bunny wouldn't let me until I'd got my first tag (dude just didn't seem to sense the urgency of the situation), so I desperately called around to friends to see if any of them still had a 3DS and would stage a StreetPass with me. I travelled a few stops on the tram to meet a friend a few days before the deadline, and we transferred some data between each other, but for some reason nobody turned up in my plaza (think it was an issue with a system update). Afterwards, I roamed around the shops for a while hoping I might get a tag naturally, but no such luck. But then a few days later a friend of mine borrowed her partner's 3DS so that I could StreetPass with it, and it worked, and I was able to get the DLC with mere hours to spare before the eShop went down! Now I'm on the lookout for StreetPasses wherever I go. I take my system to town with me, and I always hope I'll pick some up in the comic book shop, or CEX, and places like that, but so far nothing. But I've found that there's an event happening in town this weekend to commemorate the 3DS/Wii U era on the occasion of the closure of the eShop and the promotional material says, "STREETPASSES GUARANTEED," so I'm hopeful that this is a sign that the trend is picking back up and that people will start bringing their 3DS out with them again. I love my Switch, but I do feel that it's missing some of that signature Nintendo weirdness that the 3DS does so well, so I'd love it if Nintendo heeded our call and brought StreetPass back to the system. But even if they don't, we can keep it going on the 3DS! Don't know what it is, but just the thought of StreetPass makes me feel so earnest. I think I just love the social aspect of it. I had two opportunties to meet with friends this past weekend just in search of that green LED, and even though the first one didn't work properly, it still brought us all together. StreetPass 4 LIFE! Let's hope 2023 is the year of StreetPass. Even bigger and better than before!
Loved streetpass, during the console's lifetime I mainly took public transport and simply walked everywhere else. Was always cool seeing all the different places people would come from, crazy how so many people from just about everywhere all showed up in the city I was in - let alone all carrying 3DSes lol. It really is something I miss, probably even more so because between being a JRPG and a Monster Hunter fan my 3DS was definitely my primary console.
Actually that story at the beginning reminds me of a Scrooge Mc Duck comic. He says that the reason he keeps all of his money in the bin rather than spending it, is because each coin has an adventure or memorable moment attached to it from how he earned every dollar. Such Is Im sure the coin collecting has a similar feel to it. You’re not just saving change, you’re saving memories of what you did, even in the most simple way. And that’s even truer for Streetpass, every tag has a memory of us getting exited of who we just “met” and then going to the plaza to play those minigames, or going to 3DLand to play those mystery boxes. And of course we also remember where we were when we met those people too, if it be a convention, a trip to the mall, or just walking through the park. It’s a touching thought of simply savoring the moment of meeting someone new, even if you never talked to them once.
I used to get streetpass hits walking through Penn Station in NYC commuting to and from work. Still carry my 3DS with me too, but never get hits anymore, not even walking past Nintendo NY on 48th between 5th and 6th Avenues, Mondays and Wednesdays between 8:30 and 9:00 am, and again between 6 and 6:30 pm. Oh well...
Not gonna lie, Zion is the reason I brought my 3DS for street pass last weekend at WonderCon in Anaheim. I only got 4 max. Still, it was enough for me to make progress on a few of the Mii Mini Games. I'll try to bring it more often at all the conventions I plan to attend this year.

The 3ds is hitting this really cool time in its life where it still feels cutting edge yet retro, now being 10+ years old. Official support is gone, yet the player base never really gave up their 3ds for the switch, just put them in long hibernation it seems as many are ready to raise their stylists once again. Given the price spike in the 3ds line as of late, those who sold or have an aging units jumped at the chance to pay almost more than what it came out for just to recapture such a beautiful era. (related to street pass, I'm happy to say I've found a co worker who brought their 3ds to work on their own accord and no amount of "hey you should dust off that old thing" was to be found)
I love that Streetpass is being kept alive and remembered for the wonderful feature it is. I've been brining my 3DS to almost every event I've gone to the past year and its been lovely. Can't wait to bring it when I see the Mario movie next week!
if you're gonna commit to this campaign I feel we should at least get a series of videos digging deeper into WHY we should streetpass beyond the little miis and greetings default games. Monster Manner alone deserves an in depth analysis of its many nuanced systems and involved gameplay loop, perhaps advise people on which color shirts their Miis wear, how it impacts various games and do a study on what the current color distribution is. maybe do a piece on how many of the games are just as rewarding using play coins to substitute passes, so carrying your 3DS around to rack up steps is well worth it regardless.
Enjoyed making the small connections with strangers on the train trough streetpass on my way to school. Thank you for making me think back to these memories.
I have pretty much always been bringing my 2ds with wherever I go, sometimes I do forget but most of the time I do. I just wish the switch had more personality, i love the switch but theres a lot the 3ds just did better. Street pass was so cool, so many games had street pass features in them. Also all the different themes were awesome, and the switch only has 2 themes, black and white. Also the 3d feature was really cool. Despite the switch being able to run better games and dock to a tv, i still kinda like the 3ds more
I really loved StreetPass so much that I became leader of a StreetPass community of my city. We met 1-2x a months and it was almost always fun to meet some other Nintendo Fans and discuss news while playing some games. Unfortunately I had to leave the place due to my studies and couldn't kick it off there. Nevertheless, I'm forever grateful to Nintendo that they created a feature that brought people together in reallife and herlped me personally through an otherwise extremely lonely phase in my life.
I had also I great tme with Street Pass with good Friends back in 2011, when there were only 5 Puzzles to collect :D It was the beginning of Street Pass...oh dear, what a great Time ^.^
I remember taking my 3DS to the Chicago TLOZ: Symphony of the Goddesses concert back in 2013(?). I was overwhelmed with all the StreetPasses flowing in and saw many other people playing their 3DS at the show. It was fun to collect the StreetPasses and playing the games / collect puzzle pieces during the intermission. It made the show that much more fun.
I saw somebody with a 3ds lately but i didn't have my ds with me at the time. Now i will keep taking my 3ds to my trip to work. Hopefully I will get a streetpass someday. That is after I finish the Ace attorney DS games
I missed out on street pass. I LOVED the idea and played all the games that come with getting more friends, I was already in my mid 20s when it came out, living in a rural area. I almost never found anyone and I took it with me everywhere. I always hoped I’d go somewhere with a lot if people likely to have one too, but I never got to.
It's sad to say, but I was very late in the game of finally getting a 3DS. It wasn't until early 2016 before I finally was able to get a 3DS XL and even then, I didn't take it that much with me everywhere. So I never really got to use StreetPass that much and I personally didn't know many people who would've wanted to do it with me. I now finally have a New 3DS XL but at this point, I think the possibility of finally getting to use StreetPass is long gone
recently, i was on a plane home from vacation, and late into the vacation i was able to mod my 3ds, and download all of the mii plaza dlc. but what kept getting at me was how little streetpasses i have, and i wanted to fill it up more. I took it everywhere with me for those last few days, but didnt get anything. funny thing though, as we were leaving and on the plane through the flight, somebody had brought and used THEIR ds on MY PLANE. i was so flabbergasted. I hope more people use streetpass in the future.
I would love for streetpass to come back but I still don't like my chances of getting any even if the 3ds makes a come back. I live in a small town and even during the height of the 3ds I never got very many hits and I lost all my data when my original 3ds broke which I haven't been able to recover with my new 3ds. I also can't make it to these big gaming conventions so I would have to rely on any I find in my daily life which as I just mentioned was never very many even in the height of the 3ds popularity. I'm very sad about the decline of the 3ds, it's my favourite console and now it just seems like it's finally dying especially with the closure of the eshop (I sadly couldn't buy many of the games I wanted to before closure so I'm very sad).
I miss the service when you could streetpass people at best buys so when you went to the store it would store the last 10 people who passed by. someone make the service!!
Man I think the community wants another 3ds style console with street pass wow it would be great can’t believe how dead the switch feels still compared to it the 3ds just pushes making friends playing games recommending games all that stuff still maybe in some smaller ways but the meaning is bigger than before whats that tell ya haha god I love this console
Street pass has always been a feast or famine feature and I know this since launch beacuse of living in the middle of knowhere, I had go to the city of game store to get hits .
StreetPass is cool but was always rare in my town even in the 3DS' heyday. I stiill get 1 or 2 at a convention, which is funny since I get more Streepass more than ever.
Why was this so emotional 😭 Honestly, the only reason I don't bring my 3DS (or Switch) to places is because I'm always worried about losing it or it getting stolen. (I have anxiety issues, I catastrophise a LOT.) But I'd do it for you Zion!!
I also loved the 3DS at the time and I remember when it came out, but the thing is in my local area not many ppl used it so I barely got the chance to get many streetpasses, but the 3DS is great and the modding capabilities are crazy! I'll miss the eshop for sure.
I loved StreetPass but really, it's dead in the sense no one will use it. I remember going to college, it was always a nice little thing getting street passes on the train each day. But no it's dead, going out your way to organise StreetPass at special events isn't really the same. I'm not losing sleep over it though to be honest. It was a nice novelty but I'm not super nostalgic over it.
Atleast most of you can bring your system, a 2ds is too big to be easily transported. But imagine streepass with joycons. Would make the price worth it

I haven’t had a street pass in years but that’s more on me since I don’t carry it on me as much, if ever. I’d certainly take it to Asia. My last hurrah was my holiday to Japan in 2017. Edit: Also street pass relay has stopped and so it’s much harder to get a full plaza.

StreetPass for Switch would’ve been amazing and I’m still holding out hope that one day Nintendo will add it. With how well the Switch sold and with its portability it would’ve been perfect. For now though I’ll continue to take my 2DS wherever I go in the hopes of getting more StreetPasses

I love street pass! Just before the e shop closed i bought all the rest of the games and street pass vip... just in case I might meet people again :) I want it back so badly. I remember my vacation to new york in 2016 (im from germany). I met over 10 people so fast. Few years later also new york. Almost no one. It is so sad to see... Here in Germany I feel like there are even less people to meet. But I know they day will come when I meet a knew person and its gonna be great :D
I live in Germany, and travel back and fourth to New York to see my fam a few times a year. 2014/2015 were the hay days. I racked up hundreds of passes. I still bring my 3DS around hoping to grab some street passes. I’m gonna try and keep it alive forever. I LOVE street pass. I can feel your love for it and the system in this vid ❤

StreetPass was *the* reason why I brought my 3DS with me *everywhere* back in the day, the system was practically fused to my hip because of that. I ended up encouraging folks at my school to bring their 3DSs with them whenever they could, and so i ended up with loads of streetpasses on a regular basis for *years*. It was/is my favorite feature of the system, and it still perplexes me to this day as to why an equivalent has never been on switch
Probably because the Switch is triple the size of the original 3DS.
People just ain't carrying it around like they do a DS. Not to mention everyone has a smartphone nowadays unlike back when the 3DS was first released.

My fondest SteetPass memory was getting hits from two people in my rural town. Strangers to me, I didn’t know ‘em, but they were StreetPass buddies. For months, I’d get flashes of green on my 3DS and see them at my gate. Over a year later, my family went to Disneyland (far away from me), and I got a StreetPass alert. I looked, and at the gate… those two StreetPass buddies from home! At first I figured I got their Miis from before the trip and forgot to go to the Plaza. But, no! The next time I got their passes in Disneyland, hours later, they wrote the message: “R U IN DISNEYLAND?!”
When I finally did meet them in person, we shook hands and smiled. We even thanked each other for all the StreetPass memories.
The switch should’ve had its own streetpass mechanic. It would definitely encourage me to bring my switch out more, okay it was a cool idea.

I live in a small rural town of a mostly rural state and I used to take my 3DS when I’d go shopping in the city. I always enjoyed seeing the small handful of street passes I’d get.
Well said, Mr Zion. I will never forget streetpass. My greatest memory was going to France and getting at least 10 street passes in the airport alone! It was so much fun to play Find Mii, or finally complete a puzzle on puzzle swap, or race people on slot car rivals, or get visited by a developer from Nintendo to promote a game. Ah, the memories. Let’s keep this memory alive at least a little while longer!

I have a similar experience but in NYC. I got so many passes from different countries. It made me excited to open my 3DS.
I was one of the people who showed up to the StreetPass meetup at PAX East this year (you can definitely see me accidentally looking directly at the camera lol) and this was one of the most memorable events of the whole convention. Not because it was the most elaborate or the most exciting, but because it felt like home. The room was full of people who just love using their 3DS with all of its quirks, even in the year 2023. I tend to get nostalgic over a lot of things, but StreetPass is one of those features I never forgot about, even after I got my Switch. For the longest time, I thought I would never get a true StreetPass again until this event, and I'm so grateful that Zion was able to put this event together. I got to talk to him during this meetup and he was just so happy to see everyone enjoying their 3DS's like it was the early 2010's again. I sincerely thank you, Zion for singlehandedly reviving StreetPass to this degree, even if it was just for the weekend.
I remember back in my adolescente high school years, I would always bring my 3DS alongside just for Streetpass! I wasn't good at socializing, but I've made lot's of new friends because of it! I'd put so much effor of collecting those puzzles as well! People even knew who I was because of my Mii character. It was great!

Last summer, my family and I took a trip out of state. It was a 10+ hour ride (that I somehow went the entire way without personally having to drive), so I decided to revisit my 3DS. I played it for most of the way, and about halfway up there, I got a streetpass. I was stoked, as I had no idea that streetpass was still somewhat active. It reminded me of all the times I would go camping, streetpass people on the drive, and run through Find Mii with them (and my buddy I went camping with, who was always max level).
After that, I had my 3DS active and on me for the rest of the drive. And while we stayed for about a week, I took it with me just about everywhere we went - in the car, restaurants, stores... everywhere. Even on the whole 10+ hour drive back, I had my 3DS in sleep mode, just hoping that I would streetpass more people.
Nothing. That person I streetpassed on the way up is still the most recent streetpass I have (shoutout to Jase, if you're out there). I stopped bringing my 3DS with me after that. It's a shame the popularity of it fell off so hard, as seeing how many people I could streetpass was always a focal point of any trips I went on. After the eshop closed, though, I've wondered if anybody is trying to streetpass on my campus, so I think I'm going to give it another shot.
Bit of an update for anyone who cares: The very next day after I posted this, I brought my 3DS with me to campus - and got a streetpass! It was really lucky, as my university happened to have a craft fair going on with a decent anime/gaming presence (which I didn't know about beforehand), so I'm pleasantly surprised. Don't give up, y'all!
After watching your video on bringing Streetpass back this year, I started bringing my 3DS to major events.
The first event I went to in January was a flop, I didn’t get any Streetpasses.
But last weekend, I went to a big comic/general nerd convention in my town for one day and I got 4 streetpasses. I was floored.
This coming weekend, my partner and I are going to a retro gaming con and I am excited to see what will happen there.

To all of those who want an update:
We came back late last night/early this morning and, wow, were there a lot of Streetpasses.
From what I could count, I got 38 tags, a handful of repeats and not including my partner, who also brought his 3DS after I talked about bringing it.
Throughout the weekend, I would check my Streetpasses when I had downtime and it honestly reminded me of going to big anime cons in the mid 2010s. While checking, the green light would flash and I would get a few more! I probably could have gotten more had we started our trip at our original schedule (we were delayed to starting the trip on Saturday at 5 AM instead of driving after work on Friday) and if I checked more often, but I am still impressed with the turn out!
At one point, my partner and I pulled out our 3DSes while waiting for a panel. Someone saw us and said “good idea, I’m gonna join you!” and pulled out their 3DS to check their Streetpasses.
It made a great con even more fun, honestly! I was also able to complete a handful of panels, haha
God damn this is some of the best content I've seen on Nintendo Life in a while (I love the usual stuff, but this was such a breath of fresh air). That opening story got me choked up, but the video as a whole made me reflect more on how I've been feeling about gaming and Nintendo as a company. There's something about the older systems that felt so playful and fun and connected. Nintendo was able to take their couch co-op focus and broaden it with things like StreetPass. It felt so fun to play their systems and I think the Switch has kind of taken that joy from me. Booting up to a sterile UI with no atmosphere or sound, the only indicator of life on the platform is a small green number in the upper left hand corner, and the exclusive games are lacking the content and quality standards that were once expected. That being said, the Switch is selling and there's no real reason for Nintendo to change what they are doing. I just don't think I'll remember it or miss it much whenever the next big thing comes out. I don't think there's anything identifying about the experience on the platform to miss.

I'll never forget the rivalry that developed between me and a few other random people at my college in Mario 3D Land. We'd constantly be topping each others' best times on levels and it really extended my enjoyment of that game way past just getting 100%!

Man, as much as I love the Switch and all that, Nintendo seems to have all but forgotten about the little joys of actually meeting other players. The real magic of a system you can take with you, anywhere! I wish we'd get that back. The social part.

Lol yes. It's been dead 😢. I liked SP. I would get a lot at the airport, theme parks, and the occasional con. The coolest one was when I used to walk around my work area cause I'd get one from the same person so I started to have a convo with them via street pass. The SP enhancements were nice but added too late....games were fun too...the later addition games had some charm. The only ones I actually finished were flower Town and the haunted Mansion one.

PAX East was my first time getting streetpasses on my 3DS and honestly it was really cool. It's crazy that Nintendo didn't even consider it for the Switch.

I got a 3DS mid-late into the life cycle. I went to a technical nerd school where we all had a passion for games and other nerd culture stuff, so I got quite a few. Seeing the diminishing number saddens me, but it's not unexpected, the system ran its life cycle. It does bring me joy to the see a massive influx of video describing how much fun and fond memories people had with the system
Streetpass is one of those things that I wish I knew about sooner to this. My first major experience with the 3ds was playing a copy of Starfox 64 3d. Then I poured at least 100 hours into tomodachi life. Recently, before the 3shop closure. I increased me and my fathers 3ds collection by 15 games. I was actually out of paper money after march 27. And I knew what Streetpass was, but I never gave it much of a thought. Until this one video. This function looks amazing. It truly does. And like a regret not buying more fire emblem dlc, I regret not buying that sweet sweet V.I.P street pass function, with the games and the extra people. The switch was fine, but if the stars aliened, and the perfect outcome happened, the switch would be my second used console, runner up to the 3ds. I live in the south, were the likelihood of getting a streetpass is about the same as having dinner with the president. Still, this service looks amazing, and would be great if it was on the switch (or if I lived up north) I am not the person to say this, but never forget Streetpass.

you can always mod your 3ds and get it from hshop if you wanted to, just putting that out there XD super easy to do, dont really have any other choice since they shut down the eshop.
I went to Japan in 2019, and I knew streetpass was basically dead by that point. I wanted to send my streetpass plaza out with a bang, so I took it everywhere with me those 2 weeks I was in Japan. I got a full plaza on multiple days after that, especially the days I went to Akihabara. I knew it was probably the last time I would get many of them, so I went out with a bang. Then my plaza was dead for the longest time, only one here or there. I decided to bring my 3DS to Anthrocon in 2022, and I got a full plaza of people after a single day at the event. It made me happy to see a full line once again. Streetpass may be less and less common these days, but I'm happy it still works once in a while.

I used to carry my 3DS everywhere, I loved just loitering around the local mall and stopping to clear my line or seeing what classmates I got
the only problem is that the 3ds has to be in sleep mode so someone around you may actually have a 3ds on them but if they are actively playing a game or if the system is just turned off and not in sleep mode for battery preservation, you will not get as streetpass

I met my husband through StreetPass back in 2012. We apparently got close enough to StreetPass at SF Pride that year, and I had my Facebook profile in my greeting. He saw it while clearing out his line and saved my profile for later. When he got home, he looked me up and sent me a message. We didn't have any friends in common so unfortunately it went to the alternate inbox, where I didn't see it for a whole month! When I did spot it, I replied, and we finally got to talking. A very unlikely sequence of events and a whole lot of luck eventually led to us getting engaged and then married... but I'll save those details for the documentary.

My 3DS is in a storage unit 500 miles away. I wish I had it easily accessible so I can get my street pass filled up somewhere again. Airports were the best for streetpasses.... But seriously, not bringing a streetpass-like element to the switch was SUCH a fail. I feel like it should be able to incorporate it, but no. And I wish I knew about that VIP Badge before the shop closed. I should've looked it up beforehand. Sad face.

Beautiful story and video! I remember carrying my 3DS everywhere with me, the store, malls, doctor's, vacations, Disney World, my college years, etc.
This video reminded me of all the good times I've had with it. Streetpass, getting visitors in my plaza, playing plaza games such as Flower Town & Find Mii I & II. I even got visitors when playing Tomodachi Life on my 3DS (Wouldn't it be awesome if it gets ported to Switch, just like Miitopia?!).
I'm going to start bringing my 3DS everywhere again and see what happens!
In late December 2022, I went to Japan and brought my 3DS everywhere with me. I was shocked to find that Streetpass in Japan is very much alive compared to the US.
Something about seeing that green light on and knowing you've crossed paths with a real person who also brought their 3DS, gives me all the feels lol. Long live Streetpass! 😊
I remember that i got many streepass in college when reuniting with my friends playing smash 3DS. Even if I haven’t found a single streetpass during 2023, that won’t stop me from getting at least one, so I will take my New 3DS to the Super Mario movie screening on my country. Also this video has a deep meaning and I love the editing Zion made to make it feel like a documentary.

I'm in that small group where I didn't forget about my 3DS/2DS XL while everyone was all about the Switch. It's still pocket-sized and can bring it to work to play on break. Not even Switch Lite was small enough to accomplish that feat. As it stands, my last eShop purchases were Harmo Knight on 3DS and DKC Returns on Wii U.
I got my first streetpass in four years yesterday at Walmart. You have no idea how elated I was when I saw that flashing green light. I bought a 3DS XL recently so my Plaza is empty, but now I have one friend there, I want to fill it up again and hopefully I will.
I live in the middle of nowhere and don't think I ever got a street pass while I was playing before just a few weeks ago. I was in my car playing and an SUV passed and had to stop at a light before it could go again. As they pulled up alongside my vehicle my 3DS started to do the pulse it apparently does when you get a street pass. I was actually confused at what was happening until I realized that some kid in the back of his mom's car must have also been playing his 3DS as they passed me. I thought it was pretty cool that happened, kind of made my day that I got my first live street pass in 2023, I hope it made his day too.

This and the fact that I played a lot of Splatfest this weekend got me thinking. Nintendo could have events in a virtual city like the one in Splatoon 3 where everyone could meet, play games exclusive to that event, etc. The 3DS and Wii U had great social features that Nintendo did not bring to the Switch even though most commercials for the system show the many ways people can play together. I remember seeing the original Wii commercial where Nintendo shows up at the door, presenting the Wiimote while saying that unforgettable phrase "Wii would like to play." Nintendo just seems to forgot that.
I really wanted to go to PAX East this year and would have totally been there for the StreetPass Meetup! Saw the photos, what a lovely event!
Zion! I loved this video, and your advocacy for StreetPass in general. I didn't get my 3DS until way after the StreetPass craze was over. I had a Wii and DS, but for some reason, there were a few years there where I sort of stopped playing video games as much as I used to. I think I was out and about at gigs and stuff a lot more, as I'd just moved to a big city, so all my money was going on that, and I probably couldn't afford to get the new systems. Despite always wanting a 3DS and a Wii U, I never got either of them, so really I missed out on that era. Then the pandemic happened and I got a Switch to keep myself occupied during lockdown, and after a few years of getting fully obsessed with Animal Crossing, Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, A Short Hike, etc, I was fully back into the world of games, and I felt like I wanted to go back and play a lot of the games that I'd missed out on, like New Leaf, and the Phoenix Wright games that were only on 3DS. So, I found a 3DS (it was a Link Between Worlds edition, super nice) and a bunch of games on eBay, downloaded Phoenix Wright, and all the Pushmo/Pullblox games, and was having so much fun, but I really felt sad that I'd probably never get a StreetPass. And so far, I still haven't, apart from one, which I staged ahead of time. I really wanted to download the StreetPass Mii Plaza DLC before the eShop closed, and StreetPass Bunny wouldn't let me until I'd got my first tag (dude just didn't seem to sense the urgency of the situation), so I desperately called around to friends to see if any of them still had a 3DS and would stage a StreetPass with me. I travelled a few stops on the tram to meet a friend a few days before the deadline, and we transferred some data between each other, but for some reason nobody turned up in my plaza (think it was an issue with a system update). Afterwards, I roamed around the shops for a while hoping I might get a tag naturally, but no such luck. But then a few days later a friend of mine borrowed her partner's 3DS so that I could StreetPass with it, and it worked, and I was able to get the DLC with mere hours to spare before the eShop went down! Now I'm on the lookout for StreetPasses wherever I go. I take my system to town with me, and I always hope I'll pick some up in the comic book shop, or CEX, and places like that, but so far nothing. But I've found that there's an event happening in town this weekend to commemorate the 3DS/Wii U era on the occasion of the closure of the eShop and the promotional material says, "STREETPASSES GUARANTEED," so I'm hopeful that this is a sign that the trend is picking back up and that people will start bringing their 3DS out with them again. I love my Switch, but I do feel that it's missing some of that signature Nintendo weirdness that the 3DS does so well, so I'd love it if Nintendo heeded our call and brought StreetPass back to the system. But even if they don't, we can keep it going on the 3DS! Don't know what it is, but just the thought of StreetPass makes me feel so earnest. I think I just love the social aspect of it. I had two opportunties to meet with friends this past weekend just in search of that green LED, and even though the first one didn't work properly, it still brought us all together. StreetPass 4 LIFE! Let's hope 2023 is the year of StreetPass. Even bigger and better than before!
Loved streetpass, during the console's lifetime I mainly took public transport and simply walked everywhere else. Was always cool seeing all the different places people would come from, crazy how so many people from just about everywhere all showed up in the city I was in - let alone all carrying 3DSes lol. It really is something I miss, probably even more so because between being a JRPG and a Monster Hunter fan my 3DS was definitely my primary console.
Actually that story at the beginning reminds me of a Scrooge Mc Duck comic. He says that the reason he keeps all of his money in the bin rather than spending it, is because each coin has an adventure or memorable moment attached to it from how he earned every dollar. Such Is Im sure the coin collecting has a similar feel to it. You’re not just saving change, you’re saving memories of what you did, even in the most simple way. And that’s even truer for Streetpass, every tag has a memory of us getting exited of who we just “met” and then going to the plaza to play those minigames, or going to 3DLand to play those mystery boxes. And of course we also remember where we were when we met those people too, if it be a convention, a trip to the mall, or just walking through the park. It’s a touching thought of simply savoring the moment of meeting someone new, even if you never talked to them once.
I used to get streetpass hits walking through Penn Station in NYC commuting to and from work. Still carry my 3DS with me too, but never get hits anymore, not even walking past Nintendo NY on 48th between 5th and 6th Avenues, Mondays and Wednesdays between 8:30 and 9:00 am, and again between 6 and 6:30 pm. Oh well...

Not gonna lie, Zion is the reason I brought my 3DS for street pass last weekend at WonderCon in Anaheim. I only got 4 max. Still, it was enough for me to make progress on a few of the Mii Mini Games. I'll try to bring it more often at all the conventions I plan to attend this year.

I'll be bringing my 2DS everywhere with me this year! I love getting streetpasses for FF Theatrhythm Curtain Call because every single one gives you a new unique quest :)
The 3ds is hitting this really cool time in its life where it still feels cutting edge yet retro, now being 10+ years old. Official support is gone, yet the player base never really gave up their 3ds for the switch, just put them in long hibernation it seems as many are ready to raise their stylists once again. Given the price spike in the 3ds line as of late, those who sold or have an aging units jumped at the chance to pay almost more than what it came out for just to recapture such a beautiful era. (related to street pass, I'm happy to say I've found a co worker who brought their 3ds to work on their own accord and no amount of "hey you should dust off that old thing" was to be found)
i had never used streetpass before. pax east was the first time i'd ever used it, and it was really fun. gonna continue to spread the word about it

I love that Streetpass is being kept alive and remembered for the wonderful feature it is. I've been brining my 3DS to almost every event I've gone to the past year and its been lovely. Can't wait to bring it when I see the Mario movie next week!
if you're gonna commit to this campaign I feel we should at least get a series of videos digging deeper into WHY we should streetpass beyond the little miis and greetings default games. Monster Manner alone deserves an in depth analysis of its many nuanced systems and involved gameplay loop, perhaps advise people on which color shirts their Miis wear, how it impacts various games and do a study on what the current color distribution is. maybe do a piece on how many of the games are just as rewarding using play coins to substitute passes, so carrying your 3DS around to rack up steps is well worth it regardless.
StreetPass was always a super cool feature, and they should really bring it to switch or whenever a new system comes out

I have pretty much always been bringing my 2ds with wherever I go, sometimes I do forget but most of the time I do. I just wish the switch had more personality, i love the switch but theres a lot the 3ds just did better. Street pass was so cool, so many games had street pass features in them. Also all the different themes were awesome, and the switch only has 2 themes, black and white. Also the 3d feature was really cool. Despite the switch being able to run better games and dock to a tv, i still kinda like the 3ds more

I always used to bring my 2DS/2DSXL with me to university before I graduated, and always got a line. I like this mission, and I'm joining the cause!
I'm rocking 2 StreetPasses for this year so far. But I just KNOW there are more coming my way down the line!!
I really loved StreetPass so much that I became leader of a StreetPass community of my city. We met 1-2x a months and it was almost always fun to meet some other Nintendo Fans and discuss news while playing some games. Unfortunately I had to leave the place due to my studies and couldn't kick it off there. Nevertheless, I'm forever grateful to Nintendo that they created a feature that brought people together in reallife and herlped me personally through an otherwise extremely lonely phase in my life.
I miss streetpass I hope they bring something to the switch 2

I remember taking my 3DS to the Chicago TLOZ: Symphony of the Goddesses concert back in 2013(?). I was overwhelmed with all the StreetPasses flowing in and saw many other people playing their 3DS at the show. It was fun to collect the StreetPasses and playing the games / collect puzzle pieces during the intermission. It made the show that much more fun.
I saw somebody with a 3ds lately but i didn't have my ds with me at the time. Now i will keep taking my 3ds to my trip to work. Hopefully I will get a streetpass someday. That is after I finish the Ace attorney DS games
I missed out on street pass. I LOVED the idea and played all the games that come with getting more friends, I was already in my mid 20s when it came out, living in a rural area. I almost never found anyone and I took it with me everywhere. I always hoped I’d go somewhere with a lot if people likely to have one too, but I never got to.

It's sad to say, but I was very late in the game of finally getting a 3DS. It wasn't until early 2016 before I finally was able to get a 3DS XL and even then, I didn't take it that much with me everywhere. So I never really got to use StreetPass that much and I personally didn't know many people who would've wanted to do it with me.
I now finally have a New 3DS XL but at this point, I think the possibility of finally getting to use StreetPass is long gone

recently, i was on a plane home from vacation, and late into the vacation i was able to mod my 3ds, and download all of the mii plaza dlc. but what kept getting at me was how little streetpasses i have, and i wanted to fill it up more. I took it everywhere with me for those last few days, but didnt get anything. funny thing though, as we were leaving and on the plane through the flight, somebody had brought and used THEIR ds on MY PLANE. i was so flabbergasted. I hope more people use streetpass in the future.
I would love for streetpass to come back but I still don't like my chances of getting any even if the 3ds makes a come back. I live in a small town and even during the height of the 3ds I never got very many hits and I lost all my data when my original 3ds broke which I haven't been able to recover with my new 3ds. I also can't make it to these big gaming conventions so I would have to rely on any I find in my daily life which as I just mentioned was never very many even in the height of the 3ds popularity. I'm very sad about the decline of the 3ds, it's my favourite console and now it just seems like it's finally dying especially with the closure of the eshop (I sadly couldn't buy many of the games I wanted to before closure so I'm very sad).
I still believe that StreetPass is the single best feature of the 3DS, hands down!
I miss the service when you could streetpass people at best buys so when you went to the store it would store the last 10 people who passed by. someone make the service!!
Streetpass is incredible and I have been thinking of playing my 3ds more, wonder if I can find anyone on it still near me.
Man I think the community wants another 3ds style console with street pass wow it would be great can’t believe how dead the switch feels still compared to it the 3ds just pushes making friends playing games recommending games all that stuff still maybe in some smaller ways but the meaning is bigger than before whats that tell ya haha god I love this console
I hope whatever new handheld Nintendo releases has a Streetpass function. I really miss it.
Street pass has always been a feast or famine feature and I know this since launch beacuse of living in the middle of knowhere, I had go to the city of game store to get hits .
StreetPass is cool but was always rare in my town even in the 3DS' heyday.
I stiill get 1 or 2 at a convention, which is funny since I get more Streepass more than ever.

Honestly, the only reason I don't bring my 3DS (or Switch) to places is because I'm always worried about losing it or it getting stolen. (I have anxiety issues, I catastrophise a LOT.) But I'd do it for you Zion!!
I also loved the 3DS at the time and I remember when it came out, but the thing is in my local area not many ppl used it so I barely got the chance to get many streetpasses, but the 3DS is great and the modding capabilities are crazy! I'll miss the eshop for sure.
I loved StreetPass but really, it's dead in the sense no one will use it. I remember going to college, it was always a nice little thing getting street passes on the train each day.
But no it's dead, going out your way to organise StreetPass at special events isn't really the same. I'm not losing sleep over it though to be honest. It was a nice novelty but I'm not super nostalgic over it.
Atleast most of you can bring your system, a 2ds is too big to be easily transported.
But imagine streepass with joycons. Would make the price worth it

I’m bummed I didn’t buy all the street pass games but I still plan to bring my 3DS everywhere I go.
I never take my switch out of my house! If they added streetpass that would 100% change.
I haven’t had a street pass in years but that’s more on me since I don’t carry it on me as much, if ever. I’d certainly take it to Asia. My last hurrah was my holiday to Japan in 2017.
Edit: Also street pass relay has stopped and so it’s much harder to get a full plaza.
I have a full plaza. I just have Puzzle Swap, Find Mii 1 & 2, and Slot Car Rivals!

I can't in good conscience travel with my 3DS these days. So worried of not being able to replace it if it breaks etc.
StreetPass for Switch would’ve been amazing and I’m still holding out hope that one day Nintendo will add it. With how well the Switch sold and with its portability it would’ve been perfect. For now though I’ll continue to take my 2DS wherever I go in the hopes of getting more StreetPasses
Here in Danmark ive get between 25-50 almost everyday here in north Danmark many young people playing pokemon and super mario alot here and 3ds cost around 1.000-1.500kr danish crown around 200bux
I love street pass! Just before the e shop closed i bought all the rest of the games and street pass vip... just in case I might meet people again :) I want it back so badly. I remember my vacation to new york in 2016 (im from germany). I met over 10 people so fast. Few years later also new york. Almost no one. It is so sad to see... Here in Germany I feel like there are even less people to meet. But I know they day will come when I meet a knew person and its gonna be great :D
I live in Germany, and travel back and fourth to New York to see my fam a few times a year. 2014/2015 were the hay days. I racked up hundreds of passes.
I still bring my 3DS around hoping to grab some street passes. I’m gonna try and keep it alive forever. I LOVE street pass. I can feel your love for it and the system in this vid ❤
