Ahh, the Killer-B breather plate. I replaced mine while installing a Radium AOS last winter. Managed to strip the threads for one of the fastening bolts; enter the helicoil! Winter doldrums here in Georgetown, CO, so your vids and plans for '23 are a refreshing change! Looking forward to getting out for drives and some more meets this year! Appreciate the garage door remote placement on the visor. Reminds me I need to clear the junk out of mine to make room for car projects, instead of further littering my gravel driveway with misplaced smalls!
Yeah, it was definitely necessary after seeing how much the OEM one was leaking. Helicoils are the savior!! Had to helicoil 2 different threads on the brembo swap
Awesome video man, just something I need to mention. During your video when you talked about the coolant issue first popping up you broke two big rules of that track. First you didn't give your signal (fist in the air) that you were intending to pit, and second you went wide and crossed the white line. If Glenn the track manager saw that he would take your pass for the day but otherwise keep up the awesome work!
This is actually something that I talk s about with the other guys at the track when that happened! When I was on the last s corners I was keeping an eye behind me to make sure nobody was flying up, but you're 100% right that I needed to do both of those things. I think I was just freaking out about the car and forgot to in that instance

It's all about the ethanol!! I'm probably making less here at altitude though, those numbers were from CT. I'd guess around 365-370 here in CO

I think it's 5/8" hose! Should be able to find it at any autoparts store, unless you wanted to upgrade to silicone like the rest of the mishimoto kit

Do you know how to rev match or heal and toe rev match?
Was wondering the same thing. Seems very hard on the brakes.
Yes, I do know how to heel/toe downshift, I just haven't practiced it enough to do it comfortably on track yet.
As for what Rob said about the brakes.. 99%+ of the force slowing your car will be from the brakes, not from rev matching. At slower speeds out on the road, slowing down for an exit or a stop light or something like that, rev match downshifting will definitely help reduce brake pad wear. But on track, I don't think it makes much difference. It definitely effects how soon I can get back on throttle after the corners though.. so yes, it would be better for me to start heel/toe downshifting in the braking zones.

Easy 2:05 in that car, I think you could get a 2:00 lap with car... not sure what tires you are running.
This was my first time at this track and due to the coolant issues I didn't get many laps in. I absolutely agree this car could get sub 2 minutes! Running hankook RS4s
