And that's how they got the title for the song, Gary. When God arrived, He asked Saiki out on a date, and she said, "No God." It amazing he didn't destroy our sector of the galaxy from rejection. 🌩
@@TomClark-Futoura LOL. I think he was too taken aback by Sai-chan's honesty to destroy us with fire & brimstone. Idk what he did with the sakura blossoms bouquet he bought her tho.🤷♂️
@@GaryHolloway-810 Budokan is where they should have held the Band-Maid / The Warning concert. The capacity at their 2-man, June 12 concert is only about 1,700!
Well done with the names - pretty close: MISA ('The Barefoot Assassin') Kanami ('Mincho') Miku ('Small Pigeon') Akane ('The Gorilla') Saiki (was 'The Ice Queen' but she has thawed out nowadays, now I just call her 'The Queen')
Thanks for the reaction and comments. I'm speculating here but this song may be the most overlooked song by reactors due to the title of the song. If you read the lyrics, the song doesn't make a claim about the absence of nor even question the existence of God. The composition is brilliant in so many ways. Cheers!
Hey at least you tried woth the names po! There are 3 types of BandMaid songs 1) EPIC!!! 2) Great! 3) Upon first listen = Pretty good. It's not a bad song Upon subsquent listens eventually = What the hell was I thinking?! This song is great!
Can attest it’s even better in person, because despite being largely mixed out of this recording, in person the crowd is singing the chorus back and forth with Saiki and singing Lululu with Miku. It’s a song where the audience is the sixth member and the song truly encapsulates the Band-Maid experience.
No worries but here’s a refresher: Saiki (sigh-key) vox Miku (Me-koo) rhythm/vox Kanami (Kuh-naw-me) Lead guitar Misa (Me-suh) Bass Akane (Awe-kaw-nay) Drums
I recommend getting BAND-MAID PRIME. A small monthly price but you get band member doing playthroughs of songs and also behind the scenes of many of the music videos. I more than get my moneys worth.
In the three live shows starting with Yokohama Arena, Band-Maid performed 66 unique song variants. The only songs played twice with the same arrangements were Domination, Onset, Different (acoustic), and Choose Me (Saiki piano). They have since played another show with some different songs sprinkled in, so that number is surely over 70 in a 4-show period. Quite a few fan favorites still weren't played. No one is complaining about setlists, though. They've all been great. Their catalog is stupid deep.
While Band-Maid obviously have some of the best sound engineers in the business, I'm sure the bandmembers have a great deal of input during their soundchecks. While they are so much fun during the concert, they are dead serious about their sound. MISA, the bassist, started out at the Tokyo School of Music planning to be a a sound engineer, but she decided she wanted to be a performing bass player. Thank God for that!!!!!
You were close with two of the names, it's Misa, Miku and Kanami 😄 There are instrumental versions of some of their songs (including No God) on UA-cam, I suggest you watch them as you can hear the rumble of Misa's bass and Akane's machine gun rapid double kick drumming 🤘
Thank you for your reaction and welcome to the Unseen World, the name of the album. It is true that there are quite a few very good live from the maids, yet some songs are not available official live videos and the MVs for Blooming and Afterlife are great, just to mention two. Anyway, why not stay on this world so I suggest the online live with Manners, Black Hole, two songs. Have fun! :)
Band Maid could do a concert series where they play only B-sides, songs that they've never released a video for and I guarantee you odds are that there will be a lot of fans in that crowd that will be thrilled at getting to hear songs they absolutely love that they think don't get enough attention, from either the community or the band. They just don't miss.
You should react to orenjes Band Maid documentary. He has one of each member and they're voice acted by a professional and full of great information on the BM timeliness and each member. They do well on views from what I've see as well.
This is Gods fave B-M song. And he didn't drive 810 trillion miles to see B-M live at Yokohama wearing his "Choose Me Saiki" t-shirt for nothing :)

@@GaryHolloway-810 lol Who knows. With those blossoms, Saiki might come up with a new song, "Yes God." 🤔
@@TomClark-Futoura She'll get Kanami to help her arrange a solo piano version of it for when B-M finally take Budokan by storm :)

Lulalu! Lulalu!

Absolutely, Akane's footwork 🤯🤯🤯
I remember the reactor DIRTY 10 when he said "Man i haven't reacted to B-M for so long but i do know that Kanane is still awesome on guitar".😂

Now you have to find and react to the acoustic version.

I wouldn't be surprised.
I think of this one as the more evolved cousin of Dice. Dice is bedrock. This is the stratospheric version. I love both.
Personally I prefer the online performance from several years ago simply because, to me, the sound is clearer.

If you get a chance, read the whole lyrics. This song has beautiful lyrics.
I hope this is helpful with the names. Miku pronounced more like Me-ku, Kanami Ka-na-mi, Akane A-ka-ne, Saiki Sai-ki and Misa of course.
Thank you

Just love to see Miku's wings flapping when she jumps. Yes, great tuning of the drums by Akane.

Great sound engineers, it's called Team Band Made. They, along with the band, continue to improve year after year.
Misa, Misa, Misa! The Barefoot Assassin strikes!

In my 62 years no other band has given me as many goosebumps as BAND-MAID, my absolute favourite band of all time. 🤘✌️

As a request, could you turn the captions on for your videos? Thanks!
Their clear and even mix struck me as one of the fundamental attractions of Band Maid, along with composition, musicianship, and tone. Cheers!
