I was born in the very early 1940's, and as a young kid I saw boats like this every day as we lived on a converted WW1 sub chaser. The craftsmanship in those boats was beautiful, as it is in this beauty, This boat took me back to my youth. Thank you!
This boat leaves me speechless, it takes a designer with incredible ability to create such a stunning vessel. Amazing it leaves so-called contemporary yachts wanting.
This is truly one of the most fantastically designed and fantastically beautiful boats I have ever seen. My hat is off to all of those involved in her design, construction and ownership, bravo. Truly outstanding.
This yacht has so much going for it. What a beauty. Happy to read she has found a new owner. I love yachts that are built for cruising, not just another glorified white plastic bucket that sits in a marina all year round.
Not sure how I missed this video when I was first posted. Stunning vessel. There's only a couple of changes I would make (and if had the means to buy her I have the means for the changes); I'd like a yard or two for that mast, for flags, and I'd have a very traditional ship's wheel, the one now is too modern looking for that retro styling we see everywhere else. The recessed life ring at 6:58 is something I've always liked, an elegant design feature.
Darwin, a real voyage of discovery. What a lovely yacht, beautifully appointed, practical and styling from a time gone by, one could well imagine trucking round the Med all summer. Good job team
Love the classical look of this boat and the craftsmanship is stunning so wish the video was longer to show off all the features that have been left out.
I can't believe they'll struggle to sell this beauty! About a year ago you reviewed "Larimar" , that made a real impression on me, if only it had the interior colour scheme of this boat which is so light and airy! Both craft are wonderful and I love the vision and skill of their creators. Thanks for sharing this beautiful boat with us!
...very bright, clean, wonderful 'at home' environment...delightful colour way..lovely tribute to history...tempting to sunken treasure hunt...wouldn't want to mar the sleek beauty of this very fine vessel...
This is the first yacht I have truly fallen in love with and would buy without hesitation if I had the money. The interior is absolutely exquisite and reminds me of the summer house we had at the shore in the late 60s/early 70s when I was a boy. You've presented many yachts that I've liked and wanted, but none of them come close to this one.
Hate to be the contrarian, but the interior photography was remarkably sparse and uninformative. No sense at all of the relationship and flow between the different areas. WAY too much talking head. Fabulous vessel though, a level of style and taste that will endure.
Bet she is a dream to be on in the winter. Lol. If you have ever been on a cold molded boat during the winter when the water temperature is below 50°F, the whole boat feels cold. This is a good looking boat, what little we saw of it.
I am not sure that this hull type being medium light displacement with lower freeboard than most ocean going motor yachts. It is commuter style best suited to costal passage .
Flag question. Throughout this video the vessel is shown flying the American ensign while on the N&J site she flies the Turkish. Where is she flagged? She's "not for sale or charter to US Residents while in US Waters" then I doubt she's flagged in the US. And if she's not registered in the US, why was she flying the US Ensign?
David, have a look at Clear Eyes,if it's still for sale, another stunning boat, bigger then Darwin. Only thing I would replace in that boat, the saloon cushions.
I have a quick question.....I see on several ads for yachts for sale that states that the yacht is: "Not for sale to US residents while in US Waters" So what's that all about?
I think it is because if sold to american buyers in american waters there would be a tax liability which they wish to avoid .sales tax and taxes of that nature ..but there are means to avoid such liabilitys
Disappointing video... this is a beautiful yacht. But the presentation left so much out about its features. What about the crew quarters? The web advert says a cinema, spa, and gymnasium? ?? Where are those. Tankage? Day heads? Ensuites? Tender? Cranes? Etc etc etc.... What was the deal with the folding platform. Looked like a key feature. This yacht is unique enough to deserve a full bow to stern presentation. On the plus side, it was nice to see operations in the water vs a dock tour.

the craftsmanship visible through out this video is of the highest degree. What an absolute incredible piece of floating art

Thanks for your comment - you won't be surprised to hear that "Larimar" has the same designer.
@@Yachtsforsaleblog Interesting, I suppose the similarities are quite obvious 😀👍 Thanks for your response!
what a Beauty!!! needs a Classic Tender!!!
A true home away from home. Thank you! ❤
One of the most beautiful tasteful interiors I've seen on a boat.
Stunningly beautiful. A niche boat for the discerning, who appreciate the style and craftsmanship.

She’s beautiful.
LOL a punch bag was always one of my desired features in a yacht. Godda love it.
A very elegant yacht, perfect for Med cruising.
The prettiest ship on UA-cam 🏆👏
Very nice in its class

Hi Kurt, so glad to hear your feedback!
Yep Very nice. Putting in for the Lotto again this week it seems... Great video again David. You have a great team. 👍
Very Very Nice.
Awesome. 😊
The way the video is presented is awesome👍👍👍
Really a high level of creativity
Love the classic yacht 🙏
Thanks Kalesh, glad you enjoyed it!

She would be surely swamped in the English Channel ?
Beautiful yacht. Can it be upgraded with tankage to allow long range ocean crossings?

Class !

Needs another deck!
Beautiful yacht but I think I prefer a walk around presentation. I have no picture in my head of what she looks like inside.

Nice
I think Deniz needs a new shirt 😁

I agree .an indepth tour like Nauti styles does would have been more informative for such a unique interesting motor yacht
I tried liking this video and it would not,let me
Funny, I have never heard of a human being being referenced as having a pedigree! Does he bark?
Lol lol lol
Not my thing.
Thanks for watching anyway 😁
@@Yachtsforsaleblog Still liked the video
I like how the designer has a picture of Ataturk right behind him. The Turkish George Washington
