1966 Burger 100 Classic American Luxury Yacht Tour

- Опубліковано 14 тра 2024
- Join me on a full tour of this classic American made luxury cruising yacht! This American built Burger yacht was delivered in 1966. This was the largest yacht built in Aluminum at the time! This choice saved over 30,000 pounds of weight compared to a steel hulled yacht of the same size. It also provided a shallower draft which was more friendly for Bahamas cruising! This yacht has also been updated over time in all the right places!

If you loved this classic Burger Yacht, check out another incredible example: ua-cam.com/video/P27mqEBm33w/v-deo.html
I absolutely love the classic and vintage yachts. So much character and personality.
Absolutely love this. Looks in better shape than a lot of 90's yachts. I'd really lean into the 60's styling and add in some colorful rugs and art of the era.
Definitely give us more vintage yachts!!!!
This looks great for its age, nice layout and plenty of room throughout. Great tour Tony thank you.
Perfection! ...Powerball ticket in hand. Stand by.
A very groovy tour. This classic ship is gorgeous. As they say, 'They don't make them like that anymore'.
That really seems to be a sweet boat for an asking price of $2.1mil! Luxury, yet relaxed. I love the country kitchen.
Glad you enjoyed, thanks for watching!
Beautiful. Nice refit, without killing the classic vibe.
Well said!
1966 was a very good year, yes-
Damn, if only I had no common sense, I would buy this and live on it in Fort Lauderdale! It would cost $2500 per month just to moor it behind someone's house. And that is if they allowed liveaboards....
Great video!
love everything about this boat except the patch baby blue walls - what werre they thinking 😂
Love the Yacht and everything about it. I would really love to see a professional tour by someone who really understands the whole unit. There is so much to see on the beauty.
Classic yacht with beautiful lines... a little dated but oh so nice and homey. Thanks so much Tony for the tour.
A Burger!!!!! The Rolls-Royce of yachts!!! I love love Burger yachts. We were berthed next to a classic Burger 81' when I was on a Benetti 125. It ws stunning. The guy that owned it was always surrounded by beautiful women because of his business but the yacht envisioned what everyone thought about when you thought of yachting in the late 80' ear,y 90's.
I also love them! I am hoping to tour a brand new Burger 180' build either late this year or early next year depending on when it's completed.
This is probably one of the coolest yachts that’s been filmed. This is one of those boats that a film is shot on. Well done!
These Burgers are amazing! Thanks for watching!
Jeez, that is a nice one.
Great tour, Tony. I love the yacht, so much of it is preserved so well. That said, I couldn't shake the feeling that they were holding a yard sale onboard a beautiful ship. A little staging would have gone a long way!
Beautiful profile. Love the classic lines. Nice pick Tony.
The actual funnel on top makes me happy. Lil baby cruise ship. Needs a wooden tender tho, that would look sharp sitting up there.
A great boat , loved all but the saloon. Just doesn’t seen as luxurious , inviting and comfortable as it should be
I completely agree. Not worthy of this yacht. Like a children's playroom.
The beautiful built-in furniture in the bar and kitchen-dining room gives off a completely different atmosphere than the Mid-century Modern furniture in the "saloon".
Each to his own but to me the furniture is far from a nautical style I would prefer
JIM ❤
The country kitchen is the icing on the cake, absolutely beautiful
I have enjoyed the tour. Do
More tours of 60s and 70s yatchs please!
I will whenever I can! They are harder to come by these days. I just pinned a comment with a link to another classic Burger yacht if you want to check it out!
I love that it's not over done. Thank you for sharing. I need a boat so bad I can taste the salt water in my bones.
You and me both!
@@YachtAddiction I sub now! Thanks again.
I love burger yachts. Do more of them!
Love
I’m glad!
So nice!
Glad you like it!
Alright Tony another great find, all I can say is considering she is two years older than me I wish I looked as good for my age as she does, it's nice to see she has kept her period look inside and out where some older yachts are totally modernized inside with fittings and finishes,so really nice to see something authentic. I wonder how much she would be going for if for sale especially with the vintage tag on her, anyway Tony all the best from Cornwall 🤗✌️👍
Man somebody LOVED this boat, that engine room is IMMACULATE. I'd be rethinking that fly bridge, rotate that tender 90 degrees and shove it up against the smokestack/pilot house. 86 the rear windows from the pilot house, put in some huge storage lockers there to fill that void space behind the tender. Put the BBQ behind the stairs, you could make a lot more room up there if you were cool with only having one tender.
Tony, I kept waiting on someone to pop out and say BOO !! That was a classic also !! This yacht is amazing !! The saloon door with a real door knob ! Love it !! Thank you and safe travels !!
I agree I laughed really hard that was classic. 50K blooper reel!!!??? Cmon @yachtaddiction
Perfect for my plans.
Yes love it nice space all around ❤❤❤❤
Great work! Love these Gentlemen Yachts
Thank you! I love touring the classics.
Beautiful
It sure is!
Beautiful barky.
Well done.
OMG Tony great tour!!!
Thank you!
50K blooper reel? 🙏 Cmon Tony~~~!!!
I would turn it into an over night stay restaurant. five tables for the lounge. back deck a bar. then s little trip around the bay. Breakfast in bed . and just keep moving along till noon and start again. Maybe a weekend or too. Would be great for weddings and parties. Thank you Tony she's a beautiful yacht
Tony, I love your content and passion for these vessels. For consistency, it would be great to include as part of your intro the # of guests & crew the yacht has capacity for.
Fitted out beautifully, but the furniture lets it down. Dining table looks like it from IKEA.
I'm a 1966 model too.
She's a Gem for sure ! I would LOVE TO BE ABL TO MOVE MY FAMILY INTO A VESSEL LIKE HER !!
I’m in love…
Cool
VERY INTERESTING 🤔
TONY ANOTHER FLAWLESS YACHT TOUR
🏝👙🍾👙🥂👙🎊
Amazing that the small table in front of the boat is completely dried out and not oiled up
Yes please . . . 👍❤
"meticulously taken care of"
Teak does not lie.
A beauty.
nope, but it can be replaced.
@@mikefowler301 true
The engine room doesn't lie though. Someone really cared about this boat.
With a refit I would expect everything to be new and clean 🎉
Only if the Brady Bunch had a yacht.
Just imagine the galvanic corrosion deep in the bones of that giant 50 year old zinc
Depends if alternate materials were insulated from the aluminum, but regardless, easier to repair than water soaked fibreglass.
Tony, how can you call the fly bridge when there's no Bridge there to run the boat question mark you might be able to call it a sun deck or the upper deck.
Ok not bad. I Like the aluminum construction the newer engines but some parts, especially the salon, look really dated, and not in a good way. Thought it would be less than $2.1M. Not for me. I’m not sure who this yacht would appeal to at that price.
I'd upgrade the salon and dining room furniture. The color scheme isn't my preference but it's a clean ship.
I could Live on that.
What a classic looking boat....I'm curious to know what this sold for new in 66. My guess is under 100K . Anyone????
Ahead of its time
👍👌
Come on Tony, at the very begining, I want to see the one at the back!!
Me like.
So I imagine the point of buying this beautiful classic would be charters n'est ce que pas? Playing. It is gorgeous in the bones with very minor upgrades needed to captivate today's market. The galley is impeccable but the eating area does not reflect the class it should be given. Basically an interior decorator could modernize this boat or even re invent yesteryear but with more upper class ideas. Price is quite reasonable and she could well be a money maker for the right investor. I can see the poker game now with John Wayne and the boys till 5 am in the main lounge. Classic.
One major problem…………it’s not mine!……… yet! Haha
For that price it better come with fries and a shake.
I love many things about this yacht that are original. I absolutely cannot stand what they did to the lounge it is not attractive and it doesn't embrace the heritage of the yacht at all. It's really disturbing how many designers go in and just white paint over beautiful wood work in Older yachts. There ought to be a law against it.
The term, "As well," is used six times in this video.
🛥️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍
just missing a Martin Landeau cardboard cut-out... perfect for depression...
Need more Cummins power, say 1900ea. And $2mil is way too much for an almost 60 year old boat, I don't care how big it is. My offer would be $750,000-$1mil. at the most.
Needs a serious refit. Beautiful vessel apart from the ugly interior
Love the yacht but furniture needs to be replaced.
Good lord. The interior is hideous.
The boat is as close to perfect as an older yacht can be. The presentation though was sub par, even for UA-cam. Your hands in frame were very distracting. "You heard me correct(sic), 1966" is a crutch used by car salesmen. Be professional and work on your delivery. Sorry, no bell from me.
A big hole in the water is waiting for your wallet ...v
it's very much a 1960s "boat", huh..? i'm familiar with the luxury stuff from the 60s, and none of that is it... it's very much 1960s hospitality, more than luxury, and none of it is top of the line, or designer... it's pretty cheap for what it would've been at the time, but maybe it was the desired atmosphere, "boat", and the "yacht" atmosphere/look hadn't been developed yet...
So every comment you leave is just to crap on something or criticize it huh? What a fulfilling life
Mood hoover
And I'm sure you couldn't afford the silverware 😊
What a wretched life this person must live. Wake up on the morning to slam everything. Might consider the distinct possibility that others don’t share his negative outlook. Go back under your rock.
What a horrific layout.
Lost me immediately seeing the salon. Booo
