My mom has been a hair dresser for almost 40 years, the best thing to do in the situation about the cutting around the ears is to tell the person doing your hair beforehand so that way they know what to expect and can act accordingly. Best thing would probably be to tell you exactly when they do it and to maybe place a hand in your shoulder to make you feel more stable. She's given a lot of haircuts to kids and not many like the clippers next to their ears. She picked stuff up over the years. Here's a tip. If someone is right behind you shining their brights and blinding you, turn your mirrors in their direction so that the next time they shine their brights they'll blind themselves, so they'll either back off or never turn on their brights again. It's a win-win.

Quick story, we went to Spain with our school and when we got to the first hotel (after like 19h of flight, we had to stop in Germany) my friend took a shower and only after she dried up and got changed, she noticed blood on our towel and then we noticed little bits of blood on almost every bed. The hotel also refused to change our towel since they didn’t know if we had put the blood there (which we hadn’t). My friend straight up bursted into tears because so far the vacation was really shitty. Fortunately, the rest was very cool and we had a great time. We laugh about it now :)

I understand having the primal fear of scissors by your ears. My grandma burnt my ear and forehead with a hot comb when I was little, and I never got over that fear. I haven't even straightened my hair in 6 years, and I still flinch when seeing other people do their own hair.
I think Damien's OCD trigger is just dependent on the day. Some days something out of place makes his ears bleed, and others he's like "It's just one tile you big BABY!"

Quick story, we went to Spain with our school and when we got to the first hotel (after like 19h of flight, we had to stop in Germany) my friend took a shower and only after she dried up and got changed, she noticed blood on our towel and then we noticed little bits of blood on almost every bed. The hotel also refused to change our towel since they didn’t know if we had put the blood there (which we hadn’t). My friend straight up bursted into tears because so far the vacation was really shitty. Fortunately, the rest was very cool and we had a great time. We laugh about it now :)
Those Joy-Con come with the neon switch, the infuriating part is the fact that it's either entirely neon blue or red. Those grips as they're called are usually colourless or don't have a colour going with either Joy-Con
