I'd like to try growing those next year. I think one or two plants would be plenty for me. I rent a room in a house and I can't have a huge garden but I grew some squash, zucchini, bell and jalapeno peppers, basil and salad stuff in pots over the summer. If cucamelons are okay with being in a pot and growing on a fence in Virginia by the Chesapeake Bay then I will find the seeds for next season. I think I found them growing wild/feral in Costa Rica once. I definitely found tiny watermelon like fruits on a vine. A local lady said they were either bad or poisonous, I don't remember which but I didn't try them. And I would definitely have grown them there if I had known, I had a garden for my wife and I. She didn't know about them but she was a beach chick and we were in the mountains down near Panama. Anyway I want to grow some.
Cucamelons are on the list for next year! I think the great grands will love them.
They are the perfect healthy snack to grow!!!!
Nice 👍
They are fun to grow!!
I think we might try those next year!!! Thanks 👍
You totally should. Up a fence. A trellis. Something. But make sure you keep ‘em off the ground
Hard freeze this morning in MN, garden clean up time now, got everything harvested last weekend.
We had a hard frost last week.. I’m im blown away I didn’t lose anything….
Glad you got your harvest out before you lost it.
I have never even heard of those, now I want to grow some.
MiGardener sells the seeds. But he’s out of stock. He will re-up in a few months.
Interesting . Thank you for info.

They are tasty. But. It’s one of those things not everyone likes.
do wildlife eat them?
I haven’t had an issue with critters eating em. BUT. Another name for them are Mouse melons. Lol
