  • DR. ALISON TAN is passionate about people. Overcoming her intense panic attacks gave her the courage to see her non-serving old beliefs, and helped shift her perspective to one of self-acceptance. Today, she supports senior executives to embrace whom they are, rather than whom they feel they have to be.

It's all about letting go man.. That is literally it. And in that letting go there's immense trust in higher powers within you, get out of those powers' way and let go and let it all unfold for you 💯

Awhhh this is one of my favourite TED talks, to be reminded that we are here to serve and be free from control by letting go ❤️🙏🏾

I feel like I’m a 34 year old version of this lady before her epiphany. I don’t want to live any longer trying to control my life because all it does is give me anxiety and depression.

We hosted Alison, Dr Alison Tan for another talk in Shanghai. We've had 100+ Speakers. You might want to look further into Alison. Search, you will find very little. She is completely real. Completely genuine. Yet her 'ego' seems so small or perhaps she really did 'let it go'.
The first times I met Alison she made me, feel 8foot tall and bulletproof. I feel her Self-Awareness, level of development and coaching is outstanding. When we hosted her as a speaker (and later gave her an award) I didn't hear she was a TEDx Speaker or Doctor once. Yet most coaches, including myself, put these titles at the front of many of our bio's trailing across the Net. Alison is more than genuine, a role model for coaches and change agents, a role model of excellence.
Next time Alison if you read this THANK YOU, big hug!

This type of mindfulness, not obsessing and controlling symptoms, was a massive relief in my chronic pain.

People need to stop to telling that being vulnerable is a bad thing and that you are a small person if you show your emotions. Learn to live, life could be very short when you realize you had it all and do nothing with it. Stop living for career and material things only, life is more, much more! That will not go underground with you.

Don't sweat the small stuff.... I chose to be a selective thinker.. Some will call me passive but I chose to let go of certain things that are not worth the sweat. I m only human.. We all are.. And all are limited.

She did a wonderful way of getting her points across with humor. I listened to everything she said b/c it was funny. She did a great job of keeping the speech entertaining and funny without ever making a joke about the seriousness of her talk. Great Job!!!!!!!

I liked the way she talked. It seemed very genuine and sincere. Choosing a topic for diner, Jesus :))))) Trees are messy. I wish my grandmother had listened to this. As opposed to her, she never understood she was a control freek, she drove everyone very crazy, making it difficult to love her, ruined all her close relationships, lost all contact with her daughter and made her life financially very difficult, trying to uphold various real estate taht she could not afford, but she would not sell. She would not tolerate any change, even if the living room table had been turned the other way, she went nuts. Control freeks make lige incredibly difficult for their families as well s themselves.

Helen Golovin Your comment sounds exactly like my own mother. She hasn't been in our lives for over two years now. She finds great fault in everyone she encounters not realizing the common denominator is in fact her. She is a narcissist and plain outright mean. It's unfortunate, being the only child, she has nothing to do with my two sons. Her ONLY two grandchildren. She lives in a place of ego and lacks the ability to see her future ahead... alone. I wish she could have an epiphany like this amazing women.

Alison has a great sense of humour. I appreciated her sharing of her life journey through many pains & lessons learned. I wish she had spent less time on her past & more on the abundance she & her clients are experiencing. I wish she had shared what she told her clients to do. I wish to follow the rules she wanted her clients to follow.
