You're funny and honest, you're on a near-zero budget but you still don't ask for things from others and you put a big chunk of your limited personal time into sharing your experiences and passion with others. They's got some strength, must be all that polishing action you been doing :) I'm kinda shocked to see such the rusty holes on the exterior then relatively little inside. I hope the chassis sections and floorpan are good underneath... Because as you point out, most of the bad areas are replacable panels and you already have them. One of my Capris is very much the same; looks so rusty outside but where they usually rot it's really good. Shame the others are more 'typical' examples... Crunch crunch! I am looking forward to seeing you take on and succeed in this challenge. I'm happy to see you doing what you enjoy and having that fantastic support around you. Great project mate! I had a turbo mk3 years ago and it was awesome - the 7m is such a sweet motor and it doesn't half sound good through a stainless system! Are you going to be welding it up yourself?
Some T-Cut Duct tape and lots of WD40 and you should be good to go. 🤣🤣 Replace every rubber, hose, filter, fluid going. Better to spend the extra few ££'s now than to end up spending more later on something silly. Be worth it in the end. Have you set a timescale for this??
With the engine definitely, I'm gonna have to poke those bushes though and see what their status is! Not at all! I'd be surprised if it's on the road in under 6 months. Very surprised.

Yeah for sure man! The mambo kit is an upgrade and replaces the bearings and the impellers and such. Looking forward to it!

They're all different densities aren't they, my Scimitar is fully polybushed and isn't THAT bad. Definitely beats replacing rubbers every year!
