Cracks me up every time he calls the vocoder a "vocorder". I just can't figure out where he got that. Not really impressed with this product. The only thing I could ever really see myself using this to do would be to voice a droid if they ever bring back "The Clone Wars" which isn't going to happen. I can't stand when people mess with voices like Mika's with cruddy FX like these. I think if I ever get a robot VO gig, I'll just send raw files and let the folks in post do the FX. Can't see that happening, though.
There's not going to really be much that can do that with stock Logic plugins. They have a auto-tune plugin that will do that much for you, but as far as getting the crazy sound effected voices you might have to stack a few plugins on top of each other. Auto-tune, pitch shift, that kind of stuff. Even then, it wont be that close to VocalSynth. Best of luck!

Didn't see you do this, but I think this plugin is meant to be used with midi information.
its useful but choppy compared to the nectar 2, id use it for my rock/alternative and nectar for other more mild vocals

Still having one problem. Dry signal is never 0%. it’s still audible, especially in vocoder mode. Do you have the same experience?
use gate at the end, it's the algorithms used maybe and the presets.
i thought this has "auto-mode" I dont see it and on the izotope website it says it has it.
how do you set up midi controls for chordal harmonies?
second button from the presets. Then route a second track with MIDI OUT , it's not that ease yo set up the first time.
