I've watched a few different videos on your channel and I can really appreciate the philosophy here of consistency and efficiency. The two key points of every good business owner.
In my experience when the mower forgot about the other side of the side walk. The big issue isn't the 15 seconds of time. New guys will totally forget about the section so it's worth the mention. Mow everything in the area while you're in the area or you'll forget about the few stripes. But solid mapping of the yard dude👌
You are absolutely right and I agree totally. Thanks for pointing that out. I have seen guys forget about weedeating around a pole once and then somehow they continue to miss it over and over after that.
@@lawnandlight some people🤣 good content though dude. I'm actually gonna send it to our new hires. I was thinking about making a video, but you nailed it!👍
Really good video man! Just started my business in March and trying to get more efficient so this helps. Question. While trimming If you have something in the middle of the yard ie. tree, bird bath do you stop you line and go do it.
Hey there. Thanks for watching. When you pick the most efficient route on the outside, pick the spot that is closest to the inside obstacle to deviate.
Why don't you just run mulch kits on your mowers? I heard you mention a couple times about which way the mower is blowing and also efficiency. In my experience the mulch kit solves both issues. Maybe there is something I'm missing?
We are in Georgia and run mulch kits year round with fantastic results. Been doing it for 18 years and its the first thing we install on every new mower before we even take it home.

Thanks for the video. I appreciate how in depth and thorough you are. The aerial shot helps a lot as well with understanding how to be efficient.
Hey Austin. Thanks for watching. Good luck in your season. Go out, be efficient and kill it!
In my opinion, this is the most informative video of this type, touched on alot of stuff that's often overlooked in instructional mowing videos...👍

Also if the mower were a stander you can have the same guy blow and spray in the same time that each of those guys spent walking.
Good point. That’s something we need to look into. We’ve never run them before but have talked about it. Especially for leaf season.

Awesome. Is there a certain brand you like or just go with the dealer brand?
We go with the one made for the specific mower or the dealer brand. Only had to go with a nonspecific kit once
