  • I had to see what all the fuss was about regarding the beyond burger from beyond beef. I had never tasted this burger before, but have been hearing lots of people talk about how bad the ingredients were and how processed it is. I've also heard vegans and vegetarians talk about how this was the best tasting meat alternative burger and that it was much better for the environment than real beef. I did a deep dive on the ingredients, and it's both good and bad. The burger is quite processed, but it has to be if you are trying to replicate the flavor and texture of beef. It's not something I would eat every day, and there are some ingredients that I don't approve in, but they did a great job with this burger. If you don't eat meat, I totally get why this burger is all the rage, even though its not really healthy, but then again, neither is grain fed factory farmed beef. Mad love Bobby...Dessi...and Art! XOXO

Omg when I saw that you posted this I got sooo excited. I have been watching videos comparing the Impossible Burger and the Beyond Burgers for some time now. Thank you so much for your knowledge and the awesome way that you explain and break down things. I appreciate it so much, sent this video to my friend and my cousin. Because of you and other readings I have started to remove soy from my diet. I used to do soymilk because cow milk would mess with my skin and tummy and there were alot of only nut milk options but I'm allergic to nuts. I now drink Ripple Pea Milk that you approved of in another video! Thank you again!

For the part about grass fed beef, would you add to the end of that statement that there is not enough land on earth for enough cows to feed all the people on earth? So basically the amount of land it takes to raise one grass fed cow, means there is not enough land for everyone on earth to eat grass fed beef, the resources are too limited.🤷‍♀️

It's a really good concept, but to make it a meat replacement they reallly got to cut the prizes because the average buyer is used to 5$ a pound meat, he wont buy it until it gets lower. But if they keep expanding and coming to other countries, like here in germany when they arrived 2 weeks ago, I see huge potential. Good review Bobby!

Try it once, it’s not that bad it’s gonna kill you from one burger. It’s pretty good, smells exactly the he same but the taste is slightly different then meat but not in a terrible way because when you put condiments or cheese on you won’t be able to tell the difference anymore.
Just make a traditional burger don’t get crazy, make a traditional burger to mask the taste a bit so you get used to it over time.

Good Video. I've been wondering about the hamburger substitutes. Still too expensive for me though. I've been going to the Pollock, Salmon, and ground turkey patties that Costco offers in the frozen section. They are kind of bland with mayo, ketchup, and all the usual condiments. But if you sear them good and use Costco's Pesto, a little mayo or tartar sauce along with the standard onion, tomato, and red lettuce toppings and go with Dave's killer sprouted grain green from Trader Joe's (the sprouted green is not available at Costco... just the regular Dave's Killer green) I think you have a really killer sandwich.
