Vince is a great guy. Met him when I Tech Inspected this truck right after he got it. I had spent 10 years working in the same industry as Vince. So we were friends right off. The day of the endo at the wall, he was the last racer through Tech. My son Warren and I inspected it. I looked at the big HID lights all across the top and a couple on the front bumper, and suggested that since it was a day race he might want to take them off before the start to keep them from getting damaged. He'd just put them on. Told me proudly they had cost $1200 each. After doing tech sticker/helmet/harness check at the start, we jumped in my Toyota prerunnrr and headed for the Wall. Got there just as Vince's truck got rolled back over. Back structure badly bent. Fuel cell almost dragging on the ground. And ALL the new lights smashed! That might have cost more than rebuilding the back half. To this day, every time Vince sees Warren and me he's all smiles and happy to see us. Like I said...great people. Glad to see his Ranger is still rockin' 'n rollin'. And still on beams. And I still think he and Roy look like brothers. They make a great team together. Vince has become quite a good driver and I have big respect for Roy's fab, prep and driving.
Roy is on a completely different level! The man knows his stuff!
Hell yeah stoked that axle housing had been holding strong for that long, those were fun to make.

@@manueltovar4821 They both are great builders. True masters. I just think it is funny how Morgan is so into fancy design and being artistic with his builds. This guy is all about keeping it simple and just making it work. I feel like their personalities also match their philosophies on building.
