Fun fact, what Light hates most about Near/Nate is that he compares himself to L and that infuriates him because L is the only person Light ever acknowledged as his equal, so for Near to proclaim that is basically proclaiming he's Lights equal.
@@dredvax hell no, Near himself admitted that he lost to Light in the final episode and manga, but that together with Mello's help they were able to surpass L and defeat Kira. Which is also cap because L had to run and pave the way so that Near and Mello could walk.
@Villain Gaming | Check About I'm not gonna lie, Light also became a little complacent because he belittled them too much. If this were the same Light who was up against L, he would have instructed Mikami to keep a piece of the Death Note on his body at all times in the event of an emergency, as well as a single page saved for that day. Had he done that, Mikami would not have needed to go to the bank to kill Takeda and expose the location of the real Notebook. It's weird that Takeda was instructed to keep a piece hidden in her bra, but that Mikami wasn't instructed to do something similar like how Light always had a hidden piece in his watch. He didn't feel as mentally challenged and backed into a corner with Mello and Near as he did with L. That's what made him underestimate them far too much.
Mikami wrote that the final victim would be shot after pulling out his gun and pointing it at the one at the center of the SPK (which in Near's own words was himself). This was instructed by Light to Takeda who conveyed it to Mikami. It was a taunt at Near in the manga, that Light made because Near thought himself better than Light and L. But yes, it is not possible to have a person kill someone else on their behalf via the Death Note. @@NASIF-GURUyou can’t do that either. “If the words written lead to the death of more than intended, that person will die of a heart attack”. It makes most sense that the person threatened Near with the gun, then shot himself. That makes the most canonical sense, even if Relight II isn’t canon anyway.
Why didn't Mikami make each of them take pictures of everyone else and post it online? That way, he could get at least one more face that Takada did not send him.
probably something to do with that rule "you cant make someone do something they wouldn't do on their own". they might have tried that and it didn't work
@williamappleford148 Is that a rule? I know that you can't make someone leave their country in 10 minutes because that is physically impossible, but posting some pictures is very possible. I recently learned that this is how Mellow obtained the names in the first place. He had a spy inside the SPK, and when he obtained the Death Note, he killed the spy and every member that he got the name of.
Maybe it wasn't possible, depending on the SPK's security measures. Near might have had a rule preventing video recording devices from entering the headquarters. In the manga, when Mello visits Near, Near tells Mello not to worry about the security cameras because they are only set to monitor but not to record. Therefore it's likely that Near did prohibit any recording devices.
Near was so mad he gave Light the silent treatment

Technically, he's above both of them

Near it a worthless shit compared to both L and Light. Dog ass ending
So I guess many of us fans do have something to relate to with Light…
1:21 pause and move the video frame by frame, the effect of Mikami pen slashes take the form of a scythe
Thankyou! I love subbed videos better than dubbed
There's a mistake in this scene. You can't use the Death Note to make someone kill someone else
No he wrote the victim will die by getting shot by another victim
@sunrise but near didn’t die though

Wait im confused i didnt see this in the anime.. what kind of alternate scene is this!???
Can someone tell me how did Near survive ???
Near's identity was still a secret
Who killed SPK members Mello or Mikami
mikami
In the anime mello mafia members or mello himself wrote the names of the spk members while in relight 2 its mikami this time
In canon, Mello kills SPK members.
But in this scene (L's Successors) Kira kills SPK
