I hope that someday there is an option for an m1 equipped ipad pro to just run the full mac version of Photoshop so we don't have to deal with the compromises that currently exist.
So im about to buy an ipad pro, mainly for drawing. What is the best? Photoshop directly on ipad, use sidecar with my macbook pro, use fresco of use procreate?
Hi there, thank you for your video. I was just wondering. I have one design, it has some broken parts to it, that I need to connect together to make it one whole image. How do I go about doing this on the ipad? I'm very much a visual learner but anything would help. Thank you
I find it interesting that you can import a raw image with edits from lr and open it as a smart object on the iPad but there is no way to do it on the desktop version. It’s a huge huge advantage to have a essentially raw layer of your image. Is there a work around to do this on the desktop?
i don't even know where to start. Pen Tool, select subject, 3D drawing, advanced cloning and stamp tool, healing tool... the list goes on and on. The best alternative, better and cheaper, is to buy Procreate, one time, instead of adobe's dogshit monthly fee.
@@RefractArt wait that has a photo editor? I got affinity photo haven't got around to learning it yet I tried one photo it was weird so gona watch how to when I have time
@@RefractArt in front what I've seen of affinity photo it has pretty much all or at least most of what you mentioned Photoshop don't have from which that makes no sense at all the price you pay for the app over time
connect to your iPad via blkuetooth from your computer and vice versa. mirror your MacBook Pro to your iPad, and run PS from your Mac - on your iPad, and also wirelessly mirror the output to a projector if you want to get fancy w, it . PS & Illustrator life hack.
Has anyone else here made the realization that a "Smart Object" that has to be repeatedly rasterized and reconverted into a "Smart Object" when edited is just a regular Layer?? These aren't Smart Objects at all...they're some kind of scalable Layers.
I find photoshop on the ipad so un-user friendly, it becomes so frustrating that you have to wait wait until you get back to your desktop version to do the job right

This would only work if an iPad could run macOS. That would indeed be nice.
@@Spoobie123 And of course this would never happen, since they need to sell their macbook air and entry level macbook pro models, sigh.
Were you using a pre-release version of Photoshop that had the option of a Background removal tool as that is no longer available?
But what about keyboard shortcuts, can that b used?
Thank you for this simple explanation, I hope you will make more than one video so that we can learn how to use it
Hi. Can you tell me if the actions work and can they be imported ?
I wonder where the Filters are? It’s Minimum Standard in my opinion

Photoshop for IPad is now better or are we still far from PC Photoshop?

All they need to do to make photoshop usable on the iPad is to add a pen tool

Where are the pencil tools
Great review as always and I'm loving these new features!
Why did they choose the magic wand. It’s always been a terrible tool. They could have spent that time on more useful tools.
