      Trying to shed some light on the 'dark-side' of power like this. But where there is darkness, there automatically is light as well. Hopefully this initiates people to take more charge of their everyday lives through simple tools and strategies that will come in the future of this channel (think about an empowering morning routine and an unbreakable mentality)

      Green is a power staple. There is actually a great example of how the law of courting attention at all costs can benefit you in a negotiation. Basically you can use bad publicity to force the other side into making less than ideal concessions. We cover the SCIENCE behind it in our power analysis video on Thomas Shelby, under 'how to maximize leverage before a negotiation even starts.

      Wauw. That's huge man. Thanks.
      I can't wait to diversify the channel's content into how we can take charge of our everyday lives. Giving tools and strategies for that as well.
      Winning the morning makes you a force of fucking nature. It allows you to do the tasks you set to do in your life. Going from consumption (feminine, taking 'something' in from the world/universe) into creation (masculine pushing 'something' out to the world/universe).
      We live in an age where the feminine 'energy'/forces are in abundance. Watching videos, scrolling through social media, consumption of fast food for example is us feeding our feminine nature. But in order to become a well balanced, strong man or woman, we have to balance the feminine vs masculine energies appropriately.
      We do this through expansion of our knowledge, mindset and actions.

      @@Shayanwahedi hell yeah! That's what I do with each of your vids. Seriously. I watch them over 3, 4 times and absorb the value. One of my favorite things is in these laws of power, you give specific examples in history each time they are used. It's really cool hearing the history of great generals and leaders in of itself. To think that Cardi B's wap has like 1 billion views, compared to your videos.. fuck. Just shows how backwards the world is. But It makes it easier for us to dominate ey? Much love🙏🔥

    • @Shayanwahedi
      @Shayanwahedi  3 роки тому +2

      @@romansempire9237 The history examples are from the book itself. They fascinate me as well!
      Seeking domination of the world will lead to misery in the end, brother. Seeking domination of the evil/darkness within ourselves and adopting personal responsibility is what makes us a different type of men. Although it is domination but not of the external world, rather of our internal world.
      Facing our own darkness and fight against that. Conquer it. Integrate it. That's what leads us to be who we are in a positive way. Asserting dominance over other's will leave us with a void that constantly has to be filled by oppressing other people. That is a mentality of a low rank. Something we shouldn't strive for (trust me I have done so in the past).
      We actively follow our purpose whilst providing order for other people. Bettering their lives. To see this mythologically represented in a movie, watch the Lion King.
      Scar is the one pursuing domination and status all the time. The moment he gets it, the world (Pride Rock) goes to shit, resembling hell. That is pure chaos. The ground becomes infertile. Compare that to when Mufasa was the king. He didn't everything he could touch (think of not f*cking every woman you can or falling victim to every short term temptation) he practiced self-restraint for the betterment of his environment.
      You see it wonderfully represented in that movie. Also note when Simba took over pride rock and it started raining. Very deep movie.
      The love is mutual brother 🙏🔥

      Appreciate it, Creesalie. Yeah it is a fantastic show. Brings us in touch with some of our primitive instincts and shows the bond and complications of a family (although in a somewhat twisted manner).
      On another note, can you name an alpha female who's body language has piqued your interest?

    • @creesalie1460
      @creesalie1460 3 роки тому +1

      @@Shayanwahedi of course the first name that came to my mind is Polly. I used to dislike her in the 1st season, partially because I didn't find any meaning in her role. Yet she's Tommy closet advisor and became stronger and more independent as seasons went. At the end of the series she's a badass and has a lot of power in the family business. Plus I love her relationship with Michael.
      I also loove Linda. I think she's the 2nd smartest woman on the show after Polly. I loved how she " tempered " Arthur's behavior as a mother and wife at the beginning of the season 4, even though it might seem manipulative and mean. I don't agree with every choice she made but with her presence Arthur was less violent and manipulated by Tommy. But I know she couldn't " hold on " Arthur's violent behavior forever (he ended up threatening her), because he had a looot of work to do on himself. The change has to come from him. Plus I love how Linda did not hesitate to leave Arthur and confront him. I think her leaving the Shelby family was the best choice she could have made

    • @Shayanwahedi
      @Shayanwahedi  3 роки тому +1

      @@creesalie1460 Polly Gray for sure.
      Love your analysis on Linda. She indeed is a very intelligent lady. Arthur has a lot of things buried in his subconscious and since the beginning of time (think Adam and Eva for simplification) the feminine has initiated the masculine into developing a higher degree of consciousness (at least introspection). You see this reflection very well in the dynamic between Arthur and Linda. She did her part of trying (partially succesful) to change Arthur. But Arthur's shadow is really thick. You can see that he has little control over his emotions. Tommy serves as a (overly) rational counterpart in their relationship. Take the Alfie Solomons scene with Arthur later in the show.
      I'll include/make a video about alpha female body language behavior and Polly Gray will definitely be in that one. Thanks for the input!

      @@Shayanwahedi Thank you ! It means a lot coming from you. I used to love Tommy in the 1st seasons but I realized he's always manipulating his family, especially his brothers : think of John's arranged marriage with Esmie and Arthur is always the one who has to get his hands dirty. Still, I love the relationship between Tommy and Arthur because it's hilarious sometimes.
      And I am very excited to see your video on Polly Gray :)

      Yes I fully agree with your statement. There are situation in your life where you should sit back and follow. Reason being: it saves time and energy so you can lead the projects that align with your vision that will yield more fruits.
      Having a vision, setting priorities and gathering a team that shares those values and actively bettering their lives, that’s a great start for leading. But one thing, always be the captain of your life and hopefully people don’t use the: “being a follower is sometimes more powerful than a leader” as a justification to hide behind the confrontations that may come from taking charge of a certain group.
      Deliberate discernment.

      Hopefully you are living your purpose throughout the day or at least closing in on pursuing the path you have chosen.
      As for reading, it may be a long and slow read, but if you can make a time-window every single day for the things you actually want to do, it will decrease the resistance for you. It will lead to you hacking your own dopaminergic system. I will make a morning routine video in a later stage of this channel since that has been requested multiple times, I believe it will benefit you as well.

    6:37, would absolutely love to know how all of this fits into authenticity. Is it not possible to lose oneself by playing these games constantly? Of course, playing the game is a necessary aspect of life but still, how would one maintain one's authentic self and not be consumed in the process?

    channel should be at least 50k subs. Also what do you mean by make occasional ambiguous remarks

    • @Shayanwahedi
      @Shayanwahedi  3 роки тому +1

      Saying things that can be interpreted in various ways. Very broad spectrum.
      A simple non-sophisticated example:
      You went to a holiday and someone asks you how was it?
      Your response: Oh man, you have no idea.
      They don't know whether that was a good thing, or bad thing. Or anything else regarding the holiday. You sparked their interest because if they were genuinely interested in the question they asked, now they want to know it even more.
      (hope that extremely simple example drives the point home)
