My MacMini is my workhorse, literally. I use it for project work and keep my laptop for use when I go into the office or working in another room. I love the MacMini big time and planning to get the M4 (especially if they go 16 gb memory!)
Yeah, I will pick one up I think when the new one comes out. But very few people actually buy them.

Also THANK GOODNESS FOR SNAPDRAGON chips because they made Apple FINALLY step up the competition to offer what Apple could have done YEARS ago. This Is great for the consumers for sure. Apple knew what they were doing when they offered that 8gb. As much as I like the basic stuff, I really couldn't do it for long in terms of 8gb ram.
Thanks. Yes for sure competition is much higher now and Apple needs to keep market share. So hopefully we see this. But you never know until we see it with our eyes.
The SAMSUNG 27" ViewFinity S9 Series 5K Monitor has a lot of negative views; perhaps this is the reason the price has been slashed? IMHO
Maybe. I used one and it was nice short term but it might have other issues. But even other reviewers appear to like them so not sure.
If the M4 Mac Mini launches with 16gigs and the price stays the same hands down it will be a huge boon and it will sell like crazy.
I agree with that but they really just don't sell too many Mac minis now as people just want laptops.

The quality of Apple for me has always been its major selling aspect for myself as all off they're products are top. I dont mind spending on full chassis aluminum monitors with 5k... vs. another made from plastic. ❤

Looking forward a few years, I believe the best monitor/display combination for the Mac Mini will be the cheaper Apple Vision.
Maybe but not sure. I have a very good headset but you just don't want to use it every single day for work related stuff. They are great for entertainment content.
@@craigneidel We will see, most people aren’t on a computer all day and for focused productive work sessions it’s hard to beat. I’m replacing my iPad Pro, iMac and MacBook Pro with a Vision Pro and M4 Mini. It’s also saved me from purchasing a large screen HDTV for my living room renovation. When the Vision models get cheaper and lighter I think it will be disruptive.
Maybe but it's still a very hard transition for people to make especially anybody over 40. It will take a very long time before headsets are common in the workplace. People don't like to be isolated like that in my opinion but I still love my glasses for some things, just not most things.
I finally got my answer. I just saw on twitter that the m4 Mac mini will have 5 USB-C ports (3 in back and 2 in front) a no USB-A ports. If you plug in 2 USB-A adapters in the back, (I don’t mean dongles or a dock, I mean 1 adapter I each port), would you be able to plug in a mouse and keyboard, and will the work normally? I hope so, because if not, all this waiting was for nothing.

@@craigneidel this is according to Mark Gurman. There’s a good chance it’s true. If it is, then it’s 5 USB-C ports, and all the other ports are there, except the USB-A ports. He just said this about the m4 Mac mini, and nothing about the m4 pro version.

Had the very first Moto G for the longest time. I still use & prefer Moto as they are cost effective(compared to Pixel) & stock android unlike Samsung. The only problem with budget Moto phones is the Camera which Motorola seem to be working on and looks like the sales reflect that.
I actually had a Moto G quite a long time ago too. I remember that phone and it was a nice phone at the time.

Hey brother, Craig just wanted to say hello! It’s hot down here in Phoenix ! I just came back from Costco. Wow cannot wait for the cooler weather. Next summer I’m going to San Diego for two whole months come hell or high water. Anyway, looking forward to the video. I haven’t watched it yet but I know it’ll be great. And yeah, we need 16 gig minimum.

It will definitely be nice if 16GB becomes the standard of Macs. However it’s a little too late, if it happened 2 years ago I’d definitely get a new Mac right away. However now I no longer edit videos, that basically killed the main reason for me to upgrade.
Yes, that is a reason for the ram and if you don't need it then I would not upgrade.
Fyi, the MBP 16 u mention at 2000 is for a limited time 1800 @Best Buy with Best Buy membership. 3yr extended warranty is an outrageous 400. So MBP 14 + 3yr applecare = 1779 & MBP 16 + 3yr = 2200...all before tax.

RAM is cheap but apple ties the SSD to the board. That is a dick move.

It says all Macs so Airs, Mac minis, and the base M4 Pro with the base M4 chip I'm guessing. Nothing would come with 8 GB.

Yeah, it would make more people buy these for sure. Knowing Apple they would just raise the pricing which would be funny.
The HomePod mini in my opinion is useless, it keeps disconnecting from the source. It also kept playing music randomly from somewhere, could not pin point the source. I only paid $79 for it but if anyone wants it, let me know, I'll give you a great price.
I have not seen that before but there could be some better options for sure.

Moto G is a relatively inexpensive phone. Bought two for the kids that are likely to get broken.
I used to have one and I think it was the Moto G. I just didn't think they had that much market share but you learn something every day.

@@craigneidel And a Bugatti is 2 million normally. Does that justify the price of a Tesla? − You always need an entire setup, computer, display, speakers, keyboard and mouse. The "low" price of one single component doesn’t get you any closer to an affordable Mac. On the contrary, shopping for parts only increases the bottom line. - Mac mini and Apple Studio Display are both horrible offerings. And the fact that even a third party display can’t turn the Mini into a bargain, speaks volumes. Sure, many Windows PCs cost much more, but they are also horribly priced computers.

@@craigneidel Happens to me all the time. I’m arguing that a Mac mini plus the necessary peripherals is never an economic solution. Not even with a third party monitor at a discount. At best you match the price of an iMac, but you’re never significantly cheaper.
