Christine, one word... AWESOME!!! This was amazing and so wonderful to watch... exactly what i needed at this time! Especially after all i have been going through as well! One scripture that has helped me through almost my whole life has been perfect for what you have been sharing on here today! JEREMIAH 29:11 For i know the plans i have for you declares the LORD plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you hope and a future!!! GOD BLESS YOU Christine and KEEP GOING!!!😃🙏👍
Watching your videos inspired me to get back to hiking in my nearby wooded area. I used to walk my dog every morning and evening in those woods. He passed away 4 years ago. Now I am back to enjoying hiking again. Thanks for the inspiration ❤
On a good note…the amount of daylight is increasing! Like you, the short days and increased hours of darkness are bittersweet. Your choice of music with the breathtaking vistas you film are relaxing and invigorating at the same time. Love it! Thank you!
The dessert views were amazing. Your talent with words makes your videos enjoyable. So many of us have issues with the shorter days. I'm finding here at home it's still day light at 5 pm. I enjoyed your video. Ty for sharing your journey with us.
Christine, I just discovered your videos a couple months ago. Your videos get better and better! I loved seeing your whimsical Christmas episode. You are very creative with your writing, videography, and music choices! Wishing you a happy and healthy 2025.❤
This was a fabulous video…from the music, the message, the poetry, the stunning hike, the views you captured…your videos are always great but this is one of my favorites!
@@Tammyfrom1972 So sorry to here that. I'm sure you know that 99% of men won't hurt you, in fact most will come to your aid. FYI, just start in very public local places with lots of people around. Also if your place of residence allows defensive tools, become proficient with them. I know it easier said than done. but Its a place to start if you haven't already.
Profound words, “I needed to adapt to the environment instead of expecting the season to yield to me.” Boom! Yield to the gifts of the season. Thank you for this reminder. Happy New Year.
As I was watching the beautiful scenery I was contemplating if you felt lonely out there on the road. Then I realized you are not alone as you are sharing your adventures with us❤
We live about an hour from that area, love the country. You should go to gobbling valley, might be warmer. Enjoy your walking in Gods country! Happy holidays!
Your channel has become my favorite on UA-cam. A lot of creators/influencers have become very scripted and fake in my opinion. You seem to put a lot of yourself into these videos.
Hello from sunny Florida. Love you videos. I’ll be hitting the road soon. I’ll be in a teardrop camper tho. Just finishing up things to be a full time traveler.
Ah yes, "adapting to the days, nomad or not." Certainly the lesser sunlight hours, and cooling temperatures require a different plan. All the while enlightening your abilities, expanding inspiration. Libraries, a great place to delay the inevitable night cold, while searching or gaining knowledge. Wise "mobicile" folks often find the library to have safe daytime parking with pleasant outdoor places.
Tacos were invented by native indigenous Americans 10k years ago. The real name of a taco is tlahco in Nahuatl, the main language of the Aztecs. I find it beautiful to see many ethnicities today appreciate and enjoy tortillas and tlahcos. Thanks for sharing your journey on this beautiful land, tlahcos makes any place feel like home.
Nice shots of Delicate. Easy to get turned around. Most teenagers in my day worked at Hole in the Rock during the summers. Good shots of the La Sals as well. My daughter lives in Dove Creek Co so I go through La Sal still to get there. Enjoy the spirits. Be safe
Hullo Christine, I haven't been commenting much, This time of the year is hard on me. I have no family left where I live and being a INFJ-T depression set in when I'm home and alone for a long time. Once the holidays are over and I get back to my routine, my head will clear. I had a pet raven when I was younger, Had him for 17 years. They say that a dog is man's best friends... I disagree. That bird died when I was around 20. I'm 45 now. I've never been able to get another pet since. No other seems to measure up. Love the video's as always. ./cheers
Hi Michael, I’m sorry to hear you’re struggling this time of year. Hang in there! And yes, routine is a good cure for moments like that. Thank you for sharing the story of your raven. That’s incredible!
I am glad I found you, great content and the music choice. I literally decided 3 days ago to begin a nomad lifestyle, inspired by others. I haven’t even camped in like 40 years. Long story short, got laid off in June, not one interview with 42 yrs experience, guessing age discrimination & economy in toilet. Fitting up my Volvo SUV trailering my bagger and hitting the Road starting from North GA February, (not paying rent after January) and headed towards Key West. My rig will be far from done and plan to actually complete as I go, is this an insane plan?
@@nomad_unknown What do I have to loose?!?! Spent my entire life busting my A**, yes raised two wonderful girls all grown with lovely families of there own. I'm divorced, rent and own my SUV & Bike. I believe this is literally fate.

I have a HUGE fear of hiking alone. I am trying to overcome this. Thank you. ☺
Fear? of being lonely or coming across a crazy man/animal? or Woman also I guess.
Start small and I think it’ll become less scary.
@@nomad_unknown Thanks bunches!
@@michaelwarren202 Fear of people, I have been attacked before by a man, so getting over that is slow! I will get there one day. ☺

What are these words your using it sounds like hiking terms i absolutely wish u would explain
that very dangerous to go hiking like that alone
It's safer there compared to some places.
