Your knowledge of many subjects & command of the English language is amazing! That & your video & photography skills makes your channel very enjoyable to watch. Thank you!!
I remember my father talking about the Navajo code talkers way before the movie ever came out. He never said where he learned of it. He was a ww2 and Korean vet. Plus he did teach Navajo children of the silver miners when we lived in southwest Colorado. Anyway glad to see you posting videos again.
Amazing landscapes…Thankyou. Looks like you’re going to hit the 20k mark very soon. With your great filming and hard work editing, it’s no surprise and well deserved 👏
So funny I was on a piece of wood decid to raise it up now i sit with my head a little less straight but I spend a lot of time in my car I even cook in my jeep but if I was in a spot like that I would definitely be outside ❤
You should use a Heating mat at night while your sleeping,I often use that , and it's a great thing , it's keep me heated whole night. It only takes 50-60 watt/H Electricity, and by the way your videos are so good , i enjoyed it a lot.❤❤❤
I love this red rock land. I was just there in November. Didnt hike at Natural bridges though because it was so windy and I wasn't prepared for the cold. So went on to Escalante via highway 95 or the Bicentennial highway. It's a must drive. Stunning scenery although you may have already done it. I want to drive it every year. Makes me happy.
Wow, finally caught up. During 2020 you could call and get access to some sites in Monument Valley, but the visitor center and that area was closed. You also were required to stay away from other people. My late husband and I were using the book Geology Underfoot in Northern Arizona by Lon Abbott, Terri Cook. I still have unfinished business out there. Last winter when I was on my break from homebase, recharging, I got 2 hotel rooms in my over 6 weeks of travel in a minivan. One in New Mexico because it snowed, and got down to 10*F, and I wanted to watch the Super Bowl... The other was because I needed to active my inReach Messager, and needed good wifi. The nice thing about going when it was cold was you didn't have to deal with the normal crowds. Thank you for your wonderful video of the area.
Even as a Canadian, when fall turns to winter, we get that first bit of cold air. It is around 37 Farenhight , 3 Celsius, and it can feel crazy cold at the time. Now -5 Farenhight feel pretty good for me because I know it will be -30 soon enough. The desert gets very cold at night and a lot of people think it just cooler. But it is much colder because you're body's been cooking all day. New Sub 👋
@ How funny. Good. Just purchased a new Hyundai Santa Fe hope to be somewhat outfitted by spring. Live in Orlando area and headed out west. Thank you for your inspiration.
Peppermint oil mixed with h2o in a spray bottle. Spray entire engine bay liberally. Spray wheel wells & all under the vehicle. Keep all food sealed in rodent proof containers & car interior clean. Mice & rats have noses like bloodhounds, they're hunting for food & shelter when they invade a vehicle. Make it as stinky & unappealing as you can for them. (They hate the smell of wintergreen, clive or peppermint oils.) I also set out motion lights under my rig & in the engine bay; they hate light.
You need a battery operated jacket girl. It works like an electric blanket except there's a portable battery inside. It'll keep you warmer than a regular jacket. ⭐
I have I mummy bag for backpacking but when I sleep in the car day in and out, I like to use a duvet and wool blanket combo, supplemented with an electric blanket as needed.
@nomad_unknown where you were is that about 40° at night and does the wool blanket and electric blanket work pretty well? I'm asking for personal reasons. I'm trying to learn as much as I can before my nomadic journey.
You rock it Christine!! Thanks for sharing and taking us to your adventure.

You’re so right. I also feel myself adapting to the change as well.
Thanks!
Yes, bottom line, please, always stay on the marked trails whenever possible.
Bet that monument valley dirt road is sketchy when it rains.
Did you finally figure out how to keep the mice out of you car?
Good question! I haven’t seen or heard any since I left Joshua Tree.

Ohhh! Interesting!
So beautiful! Do you ever get scared hiking or camping by yourself?
Now I will be freak out everytime I see that sand
The views are amazing and thank you for the lessons! Do you have a mummy bag? You can also try creating a tent within your car

@@daynaphipps4912 when I was there the temps was 27° during the day and in the teens overnight. I stay perfectly warm in bed.
@nomad_unknown brrrrr that's cold but good to know you stayed warm in bed
Amazing Places! Thank You! GOD Bless You! KEEP GOING!!!😀🙏 P.s. Almost 20K! PRAISE GOD!!!🙌 Q? How do you make and edit your videos?🙏
Almost 20K!
Being cold is the worst 😩
I think I may prefer cold to hot though.
Hot & stifling is waaay worse than cold. (15yr nomad here)
You remind me of Diane White, another UA-camr who you probably have heard of. 😁
That dog probably had recent puppies 😢
Aww
