THANK YOU SO MUCH! I just bought this app and having never worked with 3D before, you have explained everything so well and it definitely helped me a lot 🫶
Thanks for the video- super helpful. Just to share that you can paint the head colour / details on a separate layer and use a new layer for the body colour- so that you don't have to repaint when you change the main body colour.
Thank you for watching and for your kind words. Great tip! I personally wasn't aware of this. Thank you for sharing. So in this case: "Paint all" would pick up the layer data and use it? Have to try it 👍👏
Glad you like them! and glad to help. You are welcome. I am always looking for suggestions so make sure to hit me up with any question or inquiry. Much love
you are awesome teacher. you really made this tutorial to teach not to show off your skills on youtube. Thanks. It will be great if you can make short videos on different features in the App. If you approach app developer I am sure they will love to sponsor your videos. It's like video manual for the App
Thank you so much for your kind words and your support. Comments like yours keep me motivated and inspired! Really glad to help. Your suggestions are great 😊 and they are on spot. I aim to implement them. On the other side, I keep an eye on the forum and I have been in contact with the developer of the app, Stephane. He is an awesome developer and a great supportive person.
I’m having problems with the masking tool. When i mask the top surface halv of the corners are masked 45° diagonally and when I pull it only half of the corner square is affected
Great question! Alpha in my own definition is a 2D Black & White representation (Image) that is used to define a contrast of values. It is used mainly for masking in 2D and 3D. Since Alpha is essentialy a spectrum of shades between white and black pixels, it works very well in defining 3d sculpting brushes and 2d drawings brushes. White pixel in the alpha image means positive as when this brush touches the object it draws. Black being negative as ignore and greys are in between. I have covered this for Nomad Sculpt in a simple and easy to follow tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/vkDnTcWTYJo/v-deo.html Let me know if this helps, and I am happy to answer any further inquiry or question. Thank you ☺️
@@Quantillion that helps a ton. thanks so much. i just bought Nomda for my ipad, and all of your videos have helped answer all of my question i have been trying to figure. thank you from me and everybody that watches your videos. it really is a great contribution to the artistic future. keep it up. have a great day
great tutorial, im new to this and the videos are helping allot, is the there a tutorial of how to make a bendy path, i have tried but loosing the cobble look because the mesh is distorted Thanks
You are the most welcome! My videos are designed for newcomers, so you are right at home. 😊 not sure if I got you right, but I haven't created a tutorial about that. Do you mean a path with inclination? Like a ramp? My initial thinking is using the masking, extract and stamp tools.
Glad you like them! Thank you for your comment and engagement. It means a lot. For me it is a priority to optimise your model. And you can really get a way with great details while still keeping the voxels count low.
Please tell me how to set up the stylus in the Nomad so that it draws where it touches the screen. for some reason, he draws me at a small distance from the point of contact and this is very inconvenient.
There are a couple of things you can do, but they all depend on your device. First, Make sure you have the latest update. The latest update at the moment I am writing this comment is 1.53. To check your version, click on Nomad Sculpt Icon at the upper left menu of the screen and in the appearing menu down, next to the developer name Stephen Ginier, you can find the version. Now to the butter, click on the Stylus Icon (The hand holding a stylus) in the upper right corner menu and try the following: 1- Ticking off "Allow Unrecognised Pressure" 2- Ticking "Use Size Rejection" and play with the slider. Keep in mind this is an unsaved option, and you need to tick it every time you restart Nomad Sculpt. If this issue remains, then it might be a bug, and you can report it in the forum of which you can find in the Nomad Sculpt menu I have mentioned above for checking the version. I hope this helps 😊
Best teacher ever!! Great tuts!! Thanks!
Good teacher! Very clear!
Your tutorials are really helpful. Uncating it is a good idea, a little across trends :) But You are aware of the fact that learning takies time
Hi, I was wondering if you could make a tutorial on how to model things that are interlocking and print in place such as models from flexi factory?
Thank you so so much....I'm learning a lot and loving this program...I can't wait for the next lesson
You are so welcome! Glad to know that I am helping. More to come 😊
Very good tutorial. Thank you for creating this video
Many thanks, that was really helpful.
Really love how you use lowest number of polygons possible to start modelling, I have learnt a lot from that! Thank you very much!

Try it. It works for mesh details too including brush created topology! Not just painted colours

could you make a video on how to create horns, bending and curling ones?
That is a great suggestion! I will make sure to cover this in following tutorials. I can think of the "Tube" tool as a way to achieve it.
Help. I don't see the cube on the top right of my screen.
what is alpha in 3d design. is that a way of giving surfaces texture. do you have any video showing that?
