    Hi Q, I am sorry but I do not know your name. Thank you for the tutorial. Though I have only had possession of Nomad for a couple of weeks I am more than delighted with it. To me it has been a massive breakthrough in my long quest for shape manipulation. I have tried many programs but they are mainly too expensive and I am sorry to confess that they take more brain power that I was given at birth. The only other program that showed great promise was Neobarok but there is a lack of tutorials and also my Mac does not want me to use it. You have given me a really nice and fairly easy to understand tutorial which I will keep and replay it till it manages to sink into my thick scull. So Q, Once again thank you for your efforts to teach. I look forward to any of your future tutorial. Kind regards. Ted Grimshaw

    • @Quantillion
      @Quantillion  3 роки тому +2

      Dear Ted, you made my day with your comment, and I am incredibly pleased to know that you are finding my tutorials helpful. Thank you so much for taking the time to contact me and comment. It is so motivating to me when viewers engage, and I love to hear about them and from them. It encourages me to do more.
      My name is MT, but I like Q from you. It is more personal.
      I think Nomad Sculpt is a great, powerful and affordable app. It is fantastic to be used in the studio and on the go. It is designed for all 3d work, and shape manipulation is at its heart. The capabilities of visualising within the tool are super. I am planning to release a video for abstract exploration soon. I hope you will find it helpful.
      I haven’t heard of Neobarok, but I will look for it, and if you think it is a good app, I am happy to try it and maybe record videos in the future.
      I am sure with practising you will do extraordinary. Do not criticise your learning curve; we all have different learning curves. And those who took more time to learn at the beginning exceeds at the end. Do not hesitate to request or ask for any Nomad Sculpt or 3d related tutorial. I am happy to support you.
      I am very excited to see your work on Nomad Sculpt. Feel free to tag me in your work if you are sharing it on Instagram or Twitter. Appreciate your comment, and I look forward to keeping hearing from you.

    Is there a way to better control the placing of the stamps? If you for instance want to place a stamp right on the mirror axis with 0 rotation? It's impossible to have 0 rotation by just dragging the pencil upwards... Otherwise everything is very awesome!

    Hi! Great Stamp & Alpha Tutorial! Wondered what's the best resolution to use when creating a custom Alpha or Stamp (in another program) before importing it into Nomad Sculpt? 150dpi? 300dpi? or in pixel language, 300 x 300? 600 x 600? or 1200 x 1200? Thank You for your time!

      Per quanto riguarda la tua domanda, sì, puoi. Facilmente. Cosa devi fare; è fare clic sull'icona della cartella e scorrere verso il basso per esportare.
      Puoi scegliere la taglia. E una volta esportato; lo troverai nelle tue foto.
      Grazie per il tuo commento e bella domanda, grande amore per l'Italia 💕

    How in the world so keep my stamp I am putting on one side of the coin from showing up on the opposite side of the coin?? Not matter what I do I put a stamp on one side of coin and the other side automatically shows the same 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • @Quantillion
      @Quantillion  3 роки тому +1

      Hey there :) Thank you for your question. There is a quick fix for that and I remember covering this in the video tutorial. Before using the stamp, click on the stroke setting available on the upper right bar (The one with the brush icon), scroll all the way down to "Stroke Type", underneath that you will find an option "Front-facing Vertex only", just tick it and boom!!

    Im trying to create a cartoonish person. I need to craft its pants but am having the hardest time smoothing out the lines after merging the shapes. What do i do to make them dissapear?

    • @Quantillion
      @Quantillion  3 роки тому +1

      My suggestion would be when you voxel merge the meshes, set the resolution to be around 100 - 120. Then smooth it out. In the following tutorial, you can see this happening with the head and you can see how I deal with it. I hope this helps 😊 Thank you for your question

      @Quantillion  3 роки тому +1

      Siete i benvenuti. Felice di aiutarti. Per creare una scultura in metallo 3D dalla tua scultura digitale devi stamparla in 3D. La stampa in plastica è economica. Una volta fatto ciò, devi creare uno stampo dalla tua scultura 3d, quindi versare il metallo riscaldato in esso. Non sono esperto in questo, ma puoi trovare alcuni tutorial online. Fammi sapere e sono felice di cercare alcuni tutorial per te :D

      You can screen record it as video, and then you have to import the video to a Video-to-GIF converter app or software. You can't do that directly from Nomad Sculpt

    If you are going to make future tutorials like this, at least be engaging and explain clearly and more detailed way for your viewers to understand. Otherwise you're going to bore your audience to death just for stuttering and making pauses now and then. Make it interesting and somewhat fast paced instead of a lengthy talk that will waste most of the people's time. Thanks
