Individually lit keys with customization for profiles based on the game you play is great, especially if you play lots of different games, all with their own key layouts. I just wish they would have included a screen for their ARX that runs via USB power rather than require a phone. I don't want to put my phone on my keyboard to get details from my computer.

I think UART is being used to synchronize RGB lighting in both cable ends. Maybe I'm wrong, but that makes sense to me
I guess there is a copper run in the cable to power the Monitor end of the cable if the Monitor doesn't output enough power. Otherwise it would need a micro USB power connector on both ends. It could also be used to communicate with the RGB controller on the Monitor end.

Shariq really? I was ready to buy... received the notification just before I clicked « Complete order ». That’s too bad, I sold my body to get that cable...
@@adrienwasser7978 well you might as well sell your kidneys too and order that 3000 gaming rig to along with it.
Shariq Great idea!

Congrats on hitting 10M Subs!
We expect you to make an rgb diamond play button display setup on your next video
1:10 Funny I noticed the date of this video and had used exactly that in my older ASUS laptop when I refreshed the thermal compound in it that summer. Linus ain't lyin'. It works like a BOSS.
When he said: wanna take it apart ?
I'm like, how is he going to do that (I didn't see any screws or anything)?
Aaaand then he just BRAKES it apart...
... well that's a waste and a shame.
break*
Not very cool especially after his video breakdown when he laments all the disposable garbage going into landfills and oceans. Oh and crying about we are all going to die. Hypocritical Linus. Unsubbing.
