      @Dam Sen I personally really like the RGB keyboard from LG, the G910 Orion Spark. Individually lit keys with customization for profiles based on the game you play is great, especially if you play lots of different games, all with their own key layouts. You can map colors to certain key binds and key groups that make locating them at a glance a lot more easy, while also looking cool. It's pretty immersive. I just wish they would have included a screen for their ARX that runs via USB power rather than require a phone. I don't want to put my phone on my keyboard to get details from my computer.

      I know right. I live in south africa where the cost of this cable alone is basically the price of 50 of my hdmi cables. (which are color coded to what they connect to because they come in different colours)

      I would bet that these are just plastic/acrylic fiber optics like TOSLINK optical audio. Would bet even that can handle still the 18 Gb/s anyway (probably would mostly affect the length instead), don't think it would start having refraction issues and all at those rates, but dunno for sure.

      Depends on the cable and material used for the fiber. I've had some that barely even got snagged on the corner of an entertainment cabinet and were then useless, I've seen some that have been pinched backwards and worked fine still. That aside, I was thinking the exact same thing.

      Seriously, when I saw that I cringed... I have a fiber optic hdmi cable too and it'll break if bent in the wrong way.
      It's by ruipro. It's only one of the only cables that'll support 4:2:2 at 10bit @4k at 30ft.

      @@xapexi Cellular network tech here. I work with fiber all the time in headends, outside plant, at the nodes, and I didn't see him bend the shit out of the cable. Fiber can be bent ridiculously tight, a lot tighter than you would expect. You also have buffer tubes and a tube with aramid yarn to add strength and to keep it from kinking. Just don't kink it and you are fine

    I have a Monster HDMI cable with a Green LED indicator on the ends that I use for my XBOne.
    The cable is also available in Red, Blue, Purple.

      I think that's what most people do. Have 4 HDMI cables from my living room TV. All different color cables. 4 lines on Google docs that make the legend and done. Less than 8 dollars for 4 from monoprice.

      I'm pretty sure it's a UA-cam issue. Sometimes it takes a while for the 4k option to show up. I may be wrong tho. Also those 8k cameras were like $40k or something like that.

      That is quite cheap, if u want a "high-end" cable they are expensive, especially if they are long. I payed roughly 40€ for a 1m (3feet) cable, it's is 2.1 tho.

      actually, it can make a difference. The louder you are, the more Vibrations are caused. This could cause the slightest Vibrations depending on how small the thing you're working on is, and what surface you're working on, besides the glaring fact of your arms being steady when whispering, as opposed to the opposite.

      @@chriscantrell9012 with this cable, you have to pray that no one (like linus) uses a hammer for maintance.
      When labeling cables, just put on a number. It does not matter if 1 gets disconceted from the XBOX so that it can be connected to the XBOX one and latter, Cable 1 is beeing used on input 4 of a HDMI switch. It still has 1 on both ends.

      @@chriscantrell9012 if you want to be extra sure, print the label on heat shrink tube and shrink it on the cable. Likely still cheaper than a few of these fancy cables. And don't put the "someone might modify it" into consideration. That's an issue on the administration side, not the hardware side.

      Smart. I looked into it and it's definitely possible with a diffused led strip. It would most likely be thicker, unless there is a thin diffused strip out there. There's always the option to wrap a thinner led strip in clear, matte/frost vinyl then adhere that to a flat hdmi cable. That might even be a better solution if more light is desired.

      I guess there is a copper run in the cable to power the Monitor end of the cable if the Monitor doesn't output enough power. Otherwise it would need a micro USB power connector on both ends. It could also be used to communicate with the RGB controller on the Monitor end.
