A whole room for the kids and you keep your lunch box on the floor. LOL. That's exactly where I Keep my purse and lunch box (in the floor under my desk) I also take an umbrella to recess bc we have zero shade on the playground!! I thought I was the only teacher who did this!! OH! the teacher life.
Love your classroom it looks great and you have organized it in such a purposeful way! I would love to hear more about how you structure a lesson and engage kids in the discussion of theme!!
I love your classroom. Where did you get the 7 habits from and the labels for the different books that you read aloud. How do you get your anchor charts, etc. to stick to the wall? Thanks!
The 7 Habits are from my school since we are a "Leader In Me" school. It's a character ed program. I used command hooks on the walls and put a binder clip on the hooks to hold the anchor charts! I shared more details in my classroom set up vlogs from last year about the anchor charts.
Oh no! My classroom my first couple of years only had one little storage closet. I invested in shelves and lots of plastic storage to organize on those shelves.
No, sorry. Honestly we start off strong and then taper off toward the end of the year because a lot of our reading is articles to get ready for testing. I share a lot of what I read on my blog: msrachelvincent.com/tag/reading
I love all of your videos! I feel like we are very similar in our teaching styles. Do you have a link for your language board? I am looking for something like that for a blank space in my room.

Hahaha! I didn't even think about that! And that umbrella is a game changer!
I’m a second year student studying to be a fourth grade teacher! I added so many cool things from your classroom in my “Future Classroom” checklist ☺️
That is awesome!! Glad you found some good ideas!

Thank you so much! I'm hoping to do a day in the life video soon, so I'll be sure to include what we do for the theme of a book in that video!
I love your classrooms decor and organization! What label maker do you use for your beautiful labels?
Thank you!! 😊 I made most of the labels myself. I have them listed in my TPT store!

I have NO storage...one little closet. Any ideas for makeshift storage?
