Sooo much to say here after watching my shopping in a supermarket for over 40 yrs but I will tell you as I shop now I only select from about 5- 10 % of the whole store. I will continue to be that selective.

Apparently the amount of chemicals used in the processing is leeched out of the product after processing and the parts per million is way below the FDA's requirements.
Now, still, the FDA is a corrupt org just like the CDC and FBI and and and.....
So take those parts per million with a grain of salt.
I'm just wondering why he has big man boobs (gynecomastia) if he's a pillar of health. Something is wrong with his hormones, it seems like his body is creating too much aromatase/excessive androgens to estrogen from either his diet or some sort of PED use. He has way too much breast tissue to be "healthy" for a male.
My dad sent me these videos a few months ago. I didn't watch them and if I did I laughed in the moment. Then I got your app and the ease of it telling why it why not a food is bobby approved made me start to look at food differently. Now I can't wait to watch your videos and buy a lot of the products you recommend. I also share them with all my friends. Thanks Bobby I really appreciate you educating people about what they are really eating. It has changed my life in the quality of food I was eating and has set new goals for health. Love this channel & the app! I have changed the way I eat and have lost over 50lbs in 5 months from only changing the way I eat. I'm starting to exercise too now.
I was having so many health problems (misdiagnosed) before I was allergy tested. The one that affected me the most was corn bc it's in almost everything in the store (as a binder/ sweetener/ etc)... and it's usually GMO, bathed in pesticides, & hidden as different names.
They divide it into parts so it's not listed as the 1st ingredient even if the item is mostly corn.
It's even in toothpaste, many medications & OTCs.
Now I only shop the perimeter of the store (with a rare & careful trek through frozen foods), and (most of) my health problems have basically vanished.

To be honest sometimes i think your videos are a bit overdramatic BUT this one was amazing, and enlightening. You're right, it makes little sense and it is so environmentally damaging to be catching a salmon in Alaska, shipping it all the way to China for processing, and then all the way back to whatever state it gets sold in. All of that fuel for transport, all of that energy for refrigeration, only for companies to exploit cheaper labor and save some money. We desperately need people to be more thoughtful about resources and air quality
I read a lot of lables, and the one about the 784 puffs of spray from a can of oil flabbergasted me! This just shows how corrupt our government is and paid off by big Farma.
A couple of years ago I read that one of the major meat companies was shipping their pork to China to be processed and packaged, and then shipped back to the US. I guess the word "fresh" is subjective.

Found a rather blatant one at Walmart recently. Pre-packaged burritos say "Beef and Bean" on the front however it's pure soy.
My daughter brought this to my attention as well. She has started making her own and freezing them , lol. I'm so glad she is learning to eat cleaner.
Always read ingredients on everything.
Windsor salt has added sugar. You expect iodine which people need. Especially with floride in water. But not sugar.
A package of keto chocolate covered almonds I picked up in the grocery store. The second and the forth ingredients were sugar. The serving size might give you 3. 5 grams of sugar per serving.
Needless to say I put it back on the shelf.

I make my own mayo, avocado oil, pasture raised egg, sugar free dijon, apple cider vinegar & pinch salt. Better than anything at the store.
3/4 c avocado oil..1 egg 1 teasp acv & pinch of salt..mix w/ stick blender...mix in wide mouth pint canning jar :)

I'm a new fan of this channel. I'm 57 and have eaten horribly my whole life. I knew I was doing it, my philosophy was that I want to enjoy my food, I don't care how old I live to be. I still think that, but the reality is, you don't just drop dead earlier than healthy people, you start to degrade. I have been on a diet for 4 months and have lost 35 lbs. Just counting calories, but I am eating healthier. Most of it probably isn't Bobby approved. I started watching some healthy eating content, and now it floods my feed. So, I am slowly tweaking my diet to make it better nutritionally and I am taking a bunch of supplements. I know a few people who are diabetics, don't want that to happen to me. So, in summary, I'm probably not nearly as healthy as all of you, but I am a lot better than I was. When my Kraft Avocado mayo runs out, I'm going to make my own from Bobby's inspiration. Going to make sure my garlic isn't from china. I make sure to have some Olive Oil every day. I like beets, eating more of those. I feel overwhelmed from all the info about what is healthy and not, but I'm trying. My wife passed a few years ago at 44 from sudden kidney failure because of all the medications she took for her chronic problems, so for awhile I didn't care about living, but now I do for some reason, even though it's futile, it's just natural to not want to die. Please excuse me for this post, I just worked 10 hours and had a couple drinks, lol.
The oil spray is a great example of how companies work the system to trick us. Read the labels everytime you go to the store, even if you've bought it before-companies can change ingredients & serving sizes without us noticing.

I’ve had fetal growth restriction for my last two pregnancies cause I was unaware that what I thought I was eating wasn’t even real food. I’ve been following all your advice Bobby and I’m currently 7 months pregnant with a baby that’s in the 47 percentile which is almost the perfect average sized baby. I finally don’t have complications and I’ve also started feeding my other kids better and they’re also growing and thriving. I cancelled by Thrive account. I liked the service but I didn't use it enough and the yearly fee just isn't worth it. Plus, just about everything they have you can find in a grocery store.
I keep a Thrive account only because sometimes they have a worthwhile sale,...or the convenience. However,...their prices ARE NOT $32 per box cheaper than the typical grocery store. I can get almost everything on Thrive (except their own brand) cheaper at the local upscale,..or traditional grocery store in the area. I follow Bobby ,...use his app every time I go to the grocery store,...but,....that 30 percent off/ $32 per box claim is not true.

Same!! I had my account for a few years and deleted it bc I wasn’t using it much. Maybe 3-4x a year at most. Every time I tried cancelling, they’d offer me half the annual fee so I’d take it, but it came to a point where even that wasn’t worth it anymore lol (happened 3x)

I cancelled my Thrive account also. Like you I can find the items I like in the local stores. And all the gluten free stuff isn’t my lifestyle. I found them pricy and with the membership fee, just too much.
It’s so irritating that you can’t even shop at a regular grocery store to find organic. I just go to sprouts even sometimes trader Joe but it’s such a pain.
Walmart is the worst place to grocery shop!

That cooking spray is easy to calculate a calorie count for. Fat has 9 calories/gram, so multiply the number of grams of oil in the can by 9, and you'll have the total calorie count.

I live in Canada... hard to find Canadian shrimp here despite the fact they are fished off the coast.. however you have no trouble finding reams of shrimp from India, China, Vietnam etc etc... pathetic.
I work in a store that had one of those self-driven floor cleaners. They no longer use it in that manner since it was always getting stuck and somebody had to go unstick it all the time and it actually ran into a person in an electric shopping cart.
I hope they decide to hire a human to clean the floors. People need jobs.
Pastured eggs also jam the chickens like a warehouse,just outside covered! Best eggs are locally,if you know someone with chickens! I know this being a butcher of 30+ years and am forced once a year for a refresher course on all the lingo !

Grocery stores lie about alot of products
It's not just the grocery stores it's the food manufacturers and processors!
There's a reason he went to Walmart for this. Their food is garbage. 90% of the store is straight sugar, seed oils, dyes, etc. The 10% that isn't is sketchy looking gigantic fruits and vegetables with poor color and it tastes like shit. It's hard to shop there and be healthy. Kroger is better but it's still bad. Unfortunately kroger is the healthiest store in my area.
Walmart is the worst sort of shop for groceries.I'm a very strategic shopper.Only buy store brands.Save you a lot of money.Name brands too expensive.Same stuff always get up sales
donaldcurtis, Not just the price difference between brand names & store brands, I find that store brand quality is actually better than many brand names, depending on what you buy, of course, i.e., Dollar General's Clover Valley store brand & Walmart's Great Value store brand.

Most people think if they just buy food at the stores they will be "healthy". Unfortunately, the same trash food from restaurants is in the grocery store and almost everything has added sugar, even foods that don't make any sense for them to have sugar.
We have our favorite way to roast chicken from when we lived in Ireland, but we can't make it in the US because of the water in the chicken. Now I know to look for air-cooled chicken.

Katie’s best fresh chicken is air chilled. There is a big difference. Because it’s just my husband and I now it’s all I buy, but it’s definitely pricey.

I've learned a lot from your channel but I've learned a lot over the years from random places too. Looking back 10 years ago shopping for groceries it's like I was blind. Once you see this stuff you cant unsee it. It's hilarious how they stamp all these healthy labels on "foods" that are terrible for you like gluten free, heart healthy, low fat, low sodium, high protein, low sugar, low cholesterol, etc. They literally still tell people cheerios will lower your cholesterol. They stamp no artificial dyes on fruit gummies but then put carnuba wax and canola oil in them. Canola oil in the coffee creamer. Canola oil in oreos. Maltodextrin in literally everything. Carageenan in supposedly unmolested heavy whipping cream and even fresh chicken. Have you ever dropped an oreo in your cup of milk and left it thinking it will dissolve? You should try it! The cookie will dissolve but the filling will remain intact for days. I found that out by accident. I don't actually know how long it will stay intact but it's definitely at least a week. It doesn't dissolve even a little. That isn't natural. Don't get me started on fast food that doesn't mold, and also doesn't get eaten by rats. It's all garbage and the reason the system is the way it is is because it's first and foremost profit driven and the FDA is funded largely by the very corporations they supposedly regulate. Now who in their right mind would donate millions of dollars every year to the very people who are supposed to make their lives harder? Hmm
Like eating a purchased birthday cake and having that grease on the roof of your mouth, that you actually have to wipe off with a paper towel.

Gas grills are usually powered by propane, not butane. If it's a grill connected to residential gas service, it's methane. Butane is a gas. It does not mix with the liquids in the spray bottle. It merely dissipates in the air.

In Australia we have the one of the world's biggest tuna fleets and once upon a time we had tuna processing factories, I worked in one when I was a student. Now all Australian caught tuna is sent to Thailand where the Thai Union Group uses underpaid Cambodian and Laotian workers to maximize its profits. I am boycotting all tinned fish from Thailand, China and the Baltic which leaves Moroccan anchovies and Scottish sardines as the only fish left. Even the whiting caught in the Southern Ocean is sent to SE Asia and China to be ruined before they send it back to us. Same with Australian gas, we export it overseas and they export it back to us at inflated prices. Economics is complete bunk, and I have a degree in the subject.
Starkiss tuna which is in every single $ store contaminates the water off of S Africa with one of their foul canning factories. Nasty.
It takes 3 or so minutes to get the right consistency for mayonnaise. I like mashed avocado for a spread instead of mayonnaise.

I understand ridiculous marketing claims like, "no cholesterol" on a plant food that would never have cholesterol. However, many people still believe US meats are full of hormones, so I can see a purpose for that sign.
Mayo is so easy to make and use just olive oil. Plus you can add other thing that make it so much better.

The pictures of the chickens you gave is false. Those are broiler chicken houses. Not egg layers. There are no nest systems in the pictures for the hens to lay the eggs in. Plus there is more room per hen for them to move around in.

Olive oil by itself is too strong for mayo. Tried it years ago when first making dressings.
But 1/4 th cold pressed Olive oil with 3/4 cold pressed avocado oil or mtc oil makes a nice mayo.
If you are making deviled eggs, you can also use a good full fat yogurt with lemon or vinegar. Plus some spices.
You can use yogurt or home made mayo, combined with keifer or buttermilk to make a real ranch dressing.

5:15 - I will say, though, that coconut oil is actually better for you than vegetable or corn oil. It got a bad rep in the '40s and '50s, but it's really a healthy oil.

They carry Bell and Evans and other air chilled. I like the B&E best. Wegmans sell B&E organic.

Products can wear nice slogans and beautiful puctures, but check the parts the government forces them to add: yes, they can play around with quarter-second sprays, but you can see through that.

I make mayo with olive oil and I get eggs from a friend that has a large area for her chickens to be outside. Don’t know if it’s perfect but that’s a bit of what I do. You are full of good info. 😊
Chicken at Walmart. It would say like 4lbs. But when you go through the self check out and it would weigh about 2.00lbs to 2.2lbs. The packaging is misleading. They are charging you more for less chicken

Saw this chicken info in *2017* documentary Super Size me 2: Holy chicken . It was very good. This info is not new and documentary very good!
Walmart has gotten so bad. I just seen an ad on we buy only American beef when hamburger is coming out of Mexico and is a far cry from actual butcher bought meat. Walmart is more like China Mart. Schwann’s food isn’t all made in America either, fish is processed in China.

I make my own mayo using Bertolli extra light tasting olive oil....is it the healthiest....idk...but its got to be better than anything on grocery shelf!!!!!

I see products with no sugar added , but they have artificial sweeteners in it .and a lot of cake products , the 1st ingredient is sugar . Not like before, when I used to buy the product .
The only oil we should eat is butter, olive oil, pog fat pil from cooking a good quality bacon.
