- Recently a situation has come to light surrounding the VTuber Apricot Froot who works under the agency VShojo, with the situation starting of with a long Google Docs post of terrible past experiences but no one expected it to turn on her. In this video I uncover everything you need to know about this Froot situation and separate what's fact and what is just rumors as there has been a lot of people over on twitter spreading false information about Apricot and her statement.

Exactly. Especially so long after the fact. This was news years ago, but no one was really focused on Froot’s past recently. At most it might come up in passing, but it was not the center of attention, especially with all the other crazy shit that has happened this year. Furthermore, while talking about your experience can help the victim, this should be done with friends, family, or a therapist, people who care about the victim or are trained to deal with trauma. It is NEVER a good idea to share your experience with the ENTIRE INTERNET. Regardless of her attention, it comes off as just a hit piece against her husband that ignores all the things Froot has been accused of, and cheating on her husband is not the only thing Froot has been accused of. She isn’t a stranger to controversy. She’s only made herself the center of attention again, and not in a good way.
She was facing a lot of harassment recently because a drama channel made a video about her full of lies which brought on more harassment.
If you actually read the document, you'd know that she said the reason she held off until now to say anything about it is because it was such a sore topic that she couldn't bring herself to be open about it. She said she did this for herself not to convince the people who've been attacking her for months.

Every time shit like this happens, it just makes it clear to me that people in general dont care about the truth. They just decide what the truth is and go searching for "evidence" that supports what they want. People who already hated Froot for the Silvervale thing or other stuff are all certain she's actually the bad guy here despite having no real evidence of that, while her stans are certain she did nothing wrong. The few level-headed people who understand issues like these are complicated, and we are likely to never really know the full story and seen as the odd ones out. We have evidence that the dude was abusive. Accusing her of cheating and claiming to have evidence but not releasing it is 100% the kind of thing an abusive person who is lying would do, and anyone who doesn't feel like they have something to "win" by having Froot be the bad guy would very easily see that. Could it be true? Sure. Do we have any real reason other than "I dont like Froot for the shit she did in the past, so it must be true that she cheated" to belive that? No. We dont.

I don’t like Froot and I don’t trust her because yes the Silvervale stuff, the patch shop, the “I will donate to [x] Charity”, the unapologetic use of slurs then turning around and shaming people for playing a video game… To me she seems like a liar and a hypocrite. I don’t like that people were calling her names or trying to say she deserved the abuse. I also don’t like people trying to justify her actions because she’s a “victim”. The proof she gave is shaky as DMs are easily cut from context. I don’t like how people tried to justify cheating in general. I don’t like how cheating is becoming normalized as if it isn’t a form of abuse. The amount of downplaying of the harm cheating does makes me sad.

My opinion is both of them are toxic as heck, those situation should never be adress in public but froot did, her ex bf did now its chaos all because they want people to feel pity for these 2 and choosing side.
Now both froot's ex bf and froot herself put stories and proof but its so out of context we dont know who starter first, was it froot cheating that made him toxic or was it the opposite where ex bf was being toxic and made froot cheat because she wanted love. Its just their stories left us with no proper answer, it only left us with questions, assumptions, and just randomly choosing a side for what they believe.

I have never seen any concrete evidence that she did what she is accused of. But I have seen plenty of people lie about things that I know she did not do. Between believing to someone who I know is lying to me and believeing to the person who tries to defend herself from people who won't leave her alone, I choose the latter.

The only form of "cheating" involved was the fact that they were still married at the time, because divorce is neither cheap nor instant. Also, convenient you ignore the fact that her partner threatened to cheat on her because she didn't want to engage in intercourse after she was ASSAULTED. After the whole Rushia situation I can believe some people are skeptical. Sometimes stuff aren’t as one sided as it seems. But this is something that should have been handled in a private and respectable manner. Because now there’s a fire that has been set off in the fandom.

We're supposed to forget the doxxing of indie vtubers vshojo allowed to happen for the majority of a year and then tried to cancel nux for talking about it with their permission? K.
Tbf Nux basically ended up doing the exact same thing to Taiga, or at least contributed to it. All his half-assed apologies did nothing to actually help & he still refuses to admit he contributed to Taiga's deplatforming. So where vshojo was unsuccessful with him, he actually managed to be inadvertently successful with someone else.
And in that whole debacle the only two at vshojo that showed any class & humbleness were Froot & Zen. They both apologized publicly & by name, multiple times. Not in DMs like the others. Froot was also the one that exposed it was mel in the phone call with Nux & management so she EXPLICITY KNEW what was going on but jumped on the pile anyways instead of getting the others to stand down by telling them the truth. She's the worst out all of them in my mind.
Due to their approach, we can see why Nux got mixed messages from the ppl at VShoujo vs the girls themselves.

@@ma.2089 the girls were trying to bury him till the majority of the community sided with him. Then they were so sorry and wanted to bury the hatchet. Then, his trying to not burn bridges and handle the situation with class, took undue blame for perceived wrongs and ruining the investigation that was absolutely going on internally as more indies were falling victim still and asked that the company not be harassed. You can say a lot about nux and certainly be right, but he wasn't wrong here and was never seen as wrong outside of vshojo during all this. He was a hero to the community. That said, the Taiga situation is awful and that was terrible mishandling on nuxs part and I can't imagine the nightmare it brought on. He should be called out for his part in all of that and I'm not overlooking that. Just that he was in the right with vshojo here. And I brought it up cuz it wasn't brought up alongside the niji talk in vid.

For the hogwarts drama - "everyone makes mistakes" what she apparently posted in silver chat was a cut out msg in her own chat (the red streamer button was cut out what only appears in ya own chat and even here own streamer badge was still in it what only shows up in her chat).
The money stuff is the most tricky one. All u can say about it is the charity she wanted to spend all if isn't trustworthy at all. Soo did she spend the money and didn't get any kind of proof or didn't spend? No idea honestly.

Cheating is emotional abuse. The cheater could using the person they cheated with as revenge or to give them a feeling of control. It's not fair on the third party if the motives are off. Abused people dont have a pass to hurt others, as they have been hurt.

He was trying to get her by threatening like leaving her and stuff. This was after he made her distant from her family and friends.

I would be careful about taking sides in this one. A lot of the “evidence” can be easily taken out of context. Yeah the guy is garbage but we don’t know his side of the story at all. She could have been equally as garbage. He alleges she cheated and so do the people she cheated on him with. I don’t think that excuses anything he said but I’m tired of people downplaying cheating as “not a big deal”. Froot refuses to address those accusations which makes me suspicious.
Cheating on someone who never cared about you and manipulated you into a relationship isnt that bad imo, there was never any real relationship to begin with
@@macvadda2318 Again it depends if the alleged abuse happened before or after the cheating. If it happened before the cheating, it is understandable that she did so. You also have to contextualize the comments made by her ex. Are they in a vacuum? Best example I can think of where something like this happened was AH Vs JD. JD said some disgusting things to AH yet as it turns out, it was done out of retaliation (not defence) because of the fighting. Now Does that absolve JD? I don’t think so, but my point is with these kind of things you don’t know the full story. Nobody does here or on Twitter. Her Ex doesn’t have a platform. It should be no one else’s business accept those involved. The doc should have never been posted and the cheating allegations never made public.

the Issue I have is not that she shared it but how she did, she didn't talk with her friends about it got their support then do a smaller stream, or a segment of a stream to talk about it. She made an entire hit piece against her ex-husband, and that rubs me the wrong way, you don't do something like this unless you have a reason to and I mean a real reason not just "I finally feel comfortable talking about this."
Because that's called slander and ideally, you don't want to slander people publically. That's why it feels wrong even if there are valid points.

This is sadly either a very disingenuous video and you either took the first narrative you saw and ran with it, or you just didn't put in any effort. You don't even have to scroll that far in the original twitter thread to see a link to a video that actually gives more information about the other side, which you dismiss as " Just rumors. " In fact the constant cheating caused both Froot/Apricot and her partner to develop into a mutually toxic relationship.
There is literal screenshots of Apricot/Froot sexting/flirting with another man while she was with her then partner, her nudes leak out from another person she cheated on her partner with, the ACTUAL RUMOR is how many people she cheated on her partner with. Right now its at least two but some of the evidence points to 5 different people. Due to Froot leaving out statements that could make her look bad in her document, and also her history of manipulating/deceiving her audience.
(for example, trash talking her transgender sister, calling her a bastard and a ugly femboy, while simultaneously yelling out support for them on twitter and making a bogus donation to a transgender charity organization, the whole SilverVale situation, her scamming someone with her patch shop)
Its very important to take everything you see with a grain of salt until you get both sides, and all of the facts.
I'd you even bothered to check the Google doc you'd know that said "husband" broke up with her in January and she "cheated" in February which is further supported by the screenshots from the guy she se*ted with which are, from February, unfortunately she wasnt in the right place mentally and decided that going back to that psycho was a good idea. The leaked things were proven to be deepfakes and anthime is known to lie so nice one.
The only 2 things I haven't found much info about is the out of context msg in silvervales chat, and the lack of info about the "1$ for every like" tweet other than the charity being shady so she didn't give them money.

Around the 11 minute mark, he says, and I quote. "There is no evidence to support that she cheated, it's purely a he said she said situation."
He also says, "Everyone involved who is either part of the 'cheating' situation, or was apparently betrayed by Froot, anyone who could provide evidence, will not do so, they all and Froot say they just want 'Peace'."
So, the ex-husband claims to have 100% Proof but didn't share it.
Nousagy is saying there is no evidence and no proof.
He then goes on to say, "This is a personal matter, what kind of person would go out of their way to dig this up just to prove she did it?" then... doesn't answer that question.
Also, one of his rationalisations for why he thinks she cheated is because the Ex said "She cheated" and Froot said "My ex accused me of sleeping with another man" and apparently her saying that was... suspicious?
Within like a minute of saying there is no evidence, he concludes "She probably cheating and that's how you know she's a bad person... BUT THAT'S NOT EVEN WHY PEOPLE HATE HER" and moves on to talking about other stuff.
So, my brother in christ. Give me a time stamp where, with conclusive evidence, Nousagy confirms she 100% did cheat, or is it entirely his headcannon of suspicions??

@@PinkDeavill That's because every video, post and document in 2016-2019 was scrubbed by Froot. This is the same person who chased off a commentator who found forum posts by her ex-husband on a paintball forum. This forum no longer exists along with the post in question.
So we have someone going "trust me bro" from their side who stands a large financial gain. Her ex doesn't care and they 'buried' the issue years ago. However tweets of Froot and her mom before the founding of Vshojo show they created a strike campaign against someone who found Froot's dirty laundry.
Again those "buy our services to scrub your internet footprint" pay enough money and the truth can just disappear.
Post like this are awkward, I think the biggest problem people have is you putting a personal life out there for everyone to see. I get it, horrible shit happens to a lot of people, but at the same time the reason someone like this does this is for sympathy 1000 percent. Broken trust is hard to repair. Both have to figure it out fast or just leave that broken love life........ both seems to hope that time repairs the damage but they got other people involved now so it can get worse or better depending who intervenes. Why am i even giving love advice here anyway? Relationship is complicated for both won't let go of each other and expect the other to fix it first. One is too scared with the other too mad to mend that relationship......... we don't know their history to each other so we might make it worse. I think this was all so unnecessary she had no reason to post what she did all it did was pour gas on the fire. The people who already hated her are still gonna hate her and now she just brought some more eyes to the situation. Yeah, the ex is a pos but I'm not gonna say Froot is "brave" like everyone else in the replies we don't know the full story and her ex said to let this go a long time ago its not his fault if people continue to harass her. To me, it sounded like a toxic relationship in general and the ex is not a public figure who can defend himself like Froot is, it's pretty unfair. I don't hate froot but I certainly don't think she's a victim who did nothing wrong.

so far all of the evidence and screenshots from the past accusations prove that she didnt cheat since he broke up with her before it happened, but i still dont get why he wanted her back after it, when all he did after was abuse and then accuse her of cheating + he has cheated on his ex wife as well which makes this whole thing even more sad
i think the biggest issue atm is all of the "cheating" rumours like her allegedly sleeping with 5 different guys while he was on deployment are not addressed directly so it's like after reading it im just like...Okay so he is a massive Prick and you were young/venerable and kinda stuck mentally and sorta physically (as in location) cool so the tone of said relationship drama that was being brought into question has been fully established and clarified so that's that done but the allegations of her sleeping with 5 other guys or cheating on him with 5 other guys isn't addressed in any way which was kinda the main driving force of the drama thats been bashin on froot for a while which made her want to post this so to those people that are stirring up the drama etc all she has done is dodged the question so it's sorta like a not guilty but also guilty until proven otherwise?!?! They (she and her husband) broke up a month before she even talked to the other guy which confirmed she only "cheated" with him, and all of this is supported by the same screenshots that got her into this situation
I'll just jump in and say there's no proof she cheated on him. People keep saying she did it, but there's no proof, at least I haven't found any. The closest thing she's ever done to cheating was a spicy text exchange with a friend, but the screens show that happened a month after the breakup.

I find cheating distasteful and I will never justify it (as you can end the relationship before you decide to sleep with someone else). But these "dramas" are a novelty for a few minutes before I realize I just don't care. I don't know Froot or her ex, hence this doesn't concern me.
